I stayed at the Beacon last month. It was reasonable, comfy beds, and great location at 7th and Ocean. Rooms are kind of small but most are in the heart of Sobe. (ones that are reasonably priced). Room fits two people max.

I'm going to miami beach/sobe from 7/31 - 8/7. How hard would it be to get into clubs with a fake id? It's not the greatest fake in the world and I will be going with someone who is 23.
Would bars be easier to get into?

I had a blast. Went to Chicago. Hung out on the beach on the lake Saturday afternoon. Saturday went to a place called Jbar then to Moda.
Moda was sick sick sick. Best house music I have heard since WMC two years ago. Had me dancing like crazy and the ladies were fine, fine, fine.
Coming to Miami on aug 18-21 any suggestions on good clubs...
