Did anyone go? How's the new sound system upgrade? the crowd? etc.? was out of town, so i missed it.

Depends on the plane. We just jumped right out of mine. I went out near Las Vegas Crazy views! You're so high up that it like toys and make believe. I'm somewhat afraid of heights, but the instructor was like "your so calm, lets to a backflip". So i lean way back and we jump out and flip around 2 or 3 times. There's a couple seconds of stomach in the throat while you accelerate, and then its like floating in a windy place. They turn you around to look at shit (i got Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam, and the grand Canyon - toooooo sick). Then the pull the shoot and the guy should let you steer for a bit. Its pretty damn cool and very safe. Have a good time, and think of it like an amusement ride I'd go again in a heartbeat...

I was up in NH today - hiking some awesome mountains and swimmin' in the rivers isn't it nice getting out of town sometimes? a little detox for the body & soul

didn't know StacyChase was in such need when she left me that message! ATB / Acosta - well the crowd was surprisingly decent. ATB sucked though, and went until almost 3 (I think - time sense still fuzzy). Acosta did some nice work though. Had a good time, but prefer Centro next time i think! Well the 90 minutes sleep should tide me through my drive to Boston (I hope ). See you all next week

of course, i'm not really that good at the whole time thing.... thought ATB was pretty weak - nothing consistent or interesting. Acosta was really good though. Had a great time and thought the crowd was pretty good. Caught 90 minutes sleep and off to work. I think my brain is still laying on the pillow though... :) :)

You know, you should be happy for him, but that's just about impossible sometimes. I've got an ex that's married and has kids now. We were 2gether on and off for about 5 years. I hated when she dated people after we broke up, but now that she's married its like a total cut of all that thinking about the future together. Now she and i are really good friends / advisors for each other. Which is because we know each other so well and invested so much time with each other that its just a major part of your life - and a really comforting / comfortable one. I totally understand how he's really nice for you and not just for the booty. But...for your own self respect and the way he perceives you, don't sleep with him while his got a girlfriend - it will just diminish whatever strong ties you guys have.... my 2 cents... good luck hon!

My favorites are Sundog (sooo awesome), farmer, wolf, etc. Jim Harrison wrote Legends of the Fall, but that's really not his best. Also read the Red Tent recently (can't remember the author). Its about the time of Jacob, but written from the perspective of the women (like Rebecca and Leah). Really interesting if you know bible stories at all (and its NOT a religious book at all). Read the Tolkein stuff so long ago - my dad had a first addition hardcover with these big ass pull out maps in the back - he taught me to read using them
