No doubt Boris was on, aside from that one CD-skipping trainwreck. A lot of it sounded like what I hear at Vinyl every Friday night, esp. before he started getting harder at around 3am (I remember him throwing down "Smoke Machine" and "Feel This" off the top of my head...). Not that that's a bad thing, though. What do you think of the DJ booth being up as high as it is? I know they needed to put the stage there but it sort of seems WAY up there...

I think it will be much better than this week. Last night really wasn't promoted much at all, and I didn't even know it was opening until someone on CP posted the flyer. As for the people not feeling the music, I'm wondering if they were expecting to hear more classic Boris hard house? IMO it seemed like he was Danny T-stylin most of the night (much of the stuff he threw down is in Danny's regular dark tribally rotation).

Yeah i'm usually in the same boat as you with the track pants and sneaks. I'm not Euro or yuppie but I've been called trash and scum Anyway, I dug my *shoes* out of the closet and checked it out, just to see what it was like. It's really nice inside (I posted a review earlier today). I think this place definitely has potential, especially since it's 5 minutes from home for me and a lot of others around here. From the look of the crowd I think this place should be called "CPI West". We'll see what happens. Come check it out next friday...

Definately one of the nicest clubs I've been to. It's made out of an old bank, complete with vault doors inside. The sound system was pretty good, and Boris threw down some decent tracks. Unfortunately the crowd didn't seem too into it last night. I don't know why...most people were just standing around waiting for something to happen. I'm sure it will be much more packed next friday when word spreads. The place definately has potential. This is exactly what us Brooklyn and Queens peeps needed....5 minutes from home YAY!

Oh, I didn't even see that you mentioned the SVX in your post (yeah I want one too). It's all good. I didn't take anything personally. I get sh*t all the time from people. There's two reasons why I still even have the car. One, is because I bought it way back when I was 21 and it was cheap and you can upgrade it cheaply and it just kind of grew on me. Second, ain't know way I'm parking a brand new car on the street here in brooklyn. Too many vandals/idiots around. If I lived in the burbs I'd be able to drive whatever I want *sigh*

That's cute. No, it's not a Mustang GT or a Subaru SVX but it's better than most cars in its class. I love when some punk in a Civic thinks he can take me.

It has an Iceman cold air intake, AFX Manufacturing underdrive pulley, Vibrant dual exhaust. Probably pushes 25 more HP than a stock Neon, and sounds awesome too, and I don't mean like a buzzy Civic. I was planning on installing a turbo this winter but I think I'm going to buy a Jeep instead. It also has Vibrant strut tower braces, front and rear, Sprint Performance springs w/2.75" drop, APC projector headlights, APC Euro taillights, indiglo gauge faces, and Wings West body kit.
