  3. Funny how I remember (and mentioning to someone last night) reading on various boards in the past, that people wanted him to play harder and more of it

  6. A friend of mine is visiting NYC and wants to know about clubs where merengue is played. Any recommendations?
  7. I saw them for the first time earlier tonight when I came for Ferry Corsten. One was for "No Smoking" and another was a longer one basically saying "Don't sell, buy, or use drugs in the club." When did they first go up? Are there really people who go there who can't read English?
  8. Check the listings at http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/night/club_dates_i.htm See if you can do this triple-header: Def Mix @ Pacha, Sat midnight - 8 am We Love Sundays @ Space, Sun 8 am - Mon 6 am (22 hours!) Circo Loco @ DC-10, Mon 6 am - ~8 pm No sleeping allowed And for extra credit... You can keep it going at Bora Bora til midnight, when the clubs open again At that time (Monday night), if you want to see the largest club is world filled to capacity, then go to Manumission @ Privilege (main floor til 8 am, terrace stays open a little longer)... then do the Manumission Carry-On @ Space, which goes til 5 pm And then Bora Bora is just a short walk away If you want to try a foam party, go to Amnesia on Wednesday. Eye and mouth protection might be a good idea. Amnesia also has Cocoon (Sven Vath and co.) on Mondays and Cream (either PVD or Tiesto, sometimes both) on Thursdays I loved Godskitchen @ Eden on Tuesdays, but I don't see it on the schedule Don't forget to catch a sunset party in San Antonio, at or near either Cafe Del Mar or Cafe Mambo I have heard about the Garlands event but didn't make it there. I also missed out on El Divino.
  9. he's also gonna be spinning at Virgin MegaStore (I believe Union Square) starting at 4 pm that day
  10. We were isolationist... then World Wars I and II happened
  11. SF, as in San Francisco... I'll be in the area during Mem Day weekend Does anyone know of any upcoming events or anything that usually goes on during that time? Straight crowd preferred.

  15. I just thought this might be of interest http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/dance/miami2003/index.shtml# it includes listener picks for top tune on judge jules' show - pvd interview and robbie rivera set sandra collins & pete tong, live at ultra on essential mix and more
  16. I didn't go, but I believe I saw Marco Carola listed on the schedule for that time slot. Either him or Christian Smith. Come to Arc this Saturday and see if the music sounds familiar.
  17. oh yeah, they had a little waterfall there for cooling off too bad I wasn't dressed for it
  18. maybe this is apples and oranges, but anyways... For those who have been to both, which do you like more, or think is better? Someone asked me, and I'm having trouble deciding.
  19. I saw that, but I also saw a larger folding type of flyer, which showed on the back, all of the lineups and set times for each of the nights. Too bad I threw it out. Anyways, that mentioned "suprise guests" for Sunday afternoon, billed as their closing party.
  20. a tough choice, but I enjoyed Junkie XL's performance the most
  21. Does anyone know who were the "special guests" that played after DH?
  22. I believe 1 hour each of Sandra Collins and Pete Tong, on the Radio 1 stage, were broadcasted on the Essential Mix Catch the archived stream (and more) this week! http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/dance/miami2003/index.shtml
  23. The Nikki Beach party was packed and the vibe was great The Radio 1 event didn't use all the rooms like Dance Valley did. I came after the Essential Selection broadcast was finished, but things seemed to be still going somewhat well. I'm not sure who was spinning at the time.
