  3. exit was starting to do so well w/o draper...... draper sucks plain and simple, he draws a crowd thats just there to look cool. that same crowd hangs out with their friends the next day just so they can tell them that they went to exit to impress them..... we refer to these people as posers, sluts, cornballs, etc. the draper crowd are just a bunch of wannabe club goers who doesn't enjoy truely the music, the scene, and in some cases the dj...... these are the same people that by the time their 23 or 25 they'll refer to going to the club as corny and dance music as corny. these people will say that it was just a phase that passed them by, that's what draper represents, and draper fans represent. draper has no talent. i can download a bunch of good tracks from audiogalaxy, use an atomix mp3 mixer, and draw that same crowd. it'll be rare, but i'll probably go see the international djs from time to time at exit, but once draper goes on i'm definately outta there!!!!!!!!!!! by the the way, to all the draper fans: do your homework, learn what nitelife is truely about, learn about true good quality djs, cause there is djs out there a waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy lot better than draper, learn about the music, and learn about club scene..... you draper fans think you know what you're talking about, but there are alot of people on this board that will take you back to school and proove to you that there is a scene out there better than this draper bullshit, these are the same people who will enjoy the djs, the music, and the scene for a very long time. these are true fans, not posers.
  4. its all about the dj and the music, fuck the club...... you should go
  5. hey i'm here to support u guys..... this guy plays tech trance, progressive, tribal, a little bit of hard. Marco V is the most diverse dj i heard in a while and he's definately real good. they say he's the best dj out of holland since tiesto and corsten. BRING HIM TO THE CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. i definately agree with u, its about time we get a sample of the old jv again. i was hoping for a long time that this nite would come. i think its going to be great to hear the classic vicious style being drop on us. by the way....... i hope he plays all or either: hennes & cold- second trip (scott project rmx) elastic culture- u (scott proj...) beam vs cyrus- thunder in paradise hani- baby wants to ride (pants & corset) ?- something wonderful moonman- don't be afraid 99 lvee- look inside earthbound- essence of life atlantis vs avatar- figi (lange) russen mafia- go especially-----> tin tin out- twm (dj jam x & deleon rmx) these are all great old school jv tracks

  8. see PVD cause after this friday he probably won't be back in nyc for awhile, plus DT will always be at vinyl so you'll always get a chance to see him whether its next week or next month
  9. not in this world dude, i think it from all the weed i smoked in my lifetime..... your right i posted that shit wrong, what i meant to say was........ i know S&D are definately coming to nyc, of course its old news, and its been confirmed. i heard that if they can't find a club venue to host the tour, they might do an outdoor tent event like the carl cox stuck on earth thing, so i thought someone might have more info on this. plus you can already buy tickets for the NYC event. i'm just preparing myself thats all!!!! i may be new to the board, but i'm definately not new to the scene, but i know where your coming from
  10. twilo 99 josh wink remember that martin???? those were the good old days whatever happened to josh wink? he's been MIA for sometime now
  11. sasha & digweed are coming to nyc on 4/12 and 4/13!!!! its called the delta heavy tour and you get tickets through ticketmaster or at cc.com, but 3 questions i know its definately confirmed, but where is it going to be held? is it one of those inside the giant tent events? who from clubplanet is going?
  12. i guess i won't be making the grand return quite yet. i wish vicious would just play his original style, well i guess i just have to listen to the sanctuary in order to hear that jv sound for now..... damn it!!!!!! it's a conspiracy, i think tony draper or exit promoters kidnapped the real johnny vicious and this is some horrible clone......... noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry got carried away.....
  13. i want to know what kind of shit those guys were on, cause they had to be on some fucked up trippy shit to believe draper is better than vicious. they need to take dj class 101 all over again, cause they definately failed that subject
  14. i don't care if christopher lawrence is going to be there or anyone else!!!! EXCEPT!!!!!! my man ferry corsten!!!!! i'm definately going to see him april 5th. i'm not a fan of exit anymore, but ferry will get me in there.

  16. this was a very hard decision to make.. first i started off with a top 10 then it ended up being 20, then 32, finally i had to force myself to stop or else i would ended up with like 100 favorite tracks of all time.... its a hard choice to make when so much good music has come on into the scene. so, make a list of as many as you want of what tracks are going to be displayed as your unforgettable favorite tracks of all time. 1. william orbit- barber's adagio fo strings (ferry corsten rmx) 2. moonman- don't be afraid 98 or 99 3. moby- why does my heart feel so bad (ferry corsten rmx) 4. blank & jones- cream (pvd rmx) 5. paul van dyk- for an angel 6. mauro picotto- iguana (blank & jones rmx) 7. tin tin out- trance with me (dj jam x & deleon rmx) 8. earthbound- essence of life 9. belearic bill- destination sunshine (tiesto rmx) 10. push- universal nation (original or ferry corsten rmx) 11. elastic culture- u (dj scot project rmx) 12. binary finary- 1999 or 2000 (gouryella rmx) 13. lost witness- 7 colors (original) 14. lost witness- red sun rising (lange rmx) 15.mauro picotto- komodo (megavoices rmx) 16. dj jan- x santo (transa rmx) 17. ?- something wonderful 18. dj jam x & deleon- can u dig it? 19. planet perfecto- bullet in the gun 20. bedrock- heaven scent 21. faithless- god is a dj 22. dido- here with me (johnny vicious rmx or the version with nina maitri doing the vocals) 23. sunbeam vs push- please save me (club mix) 24. system f- cry 25. system f- dance valley theme 2001 26. barthezz- on the move (dumonde rmx) 27. transa- astrodawn 28. brooklyn bounce- club bizzare (dj scot project rmx) 29. dumonde- never look back (tiesto rmx) 30. john gielien- velvet moods (tiesto rmx) 31. russian mafia- go 32. goureyella- goureylla and there is still alot more that i can't think of right now, but i would like to see whats your favorites
  17. well hey, tony draper works wonders with mp3 audio and cd's, an 8yr. kid without djing skills can work miracles with a cd mixer..... tony is still garbage in my book!!!! he went into the game to early, he still has a long way to go. he only got his job djing because he was friends with the exit promoters, he has to take it a step at a time for him to be considered a good dj, only then we'll stop bashing him.
  18. i'm very diverse in different styles of music. i like and feel all forms of music, but i just love the trance music more than anything, so thats how i got my name and the 2k1 is when i first joined the board, but i didn't really go on until this year
