Amen, as a dutchie but with family at 3rd ave., I realy get moved by these lights. The events even got more emotional to see it thru my firefighter eyes. I even would have told you to go and check the Supperclub at the Jonge Roelofsteeg just behind the Royal Palace. The Supperclub is the place to be in Amsterdam, I talked about it in previous threads. Suffering a major blow to the head, since they killed my film full of partypics...I have to give you an internet-adress to check all of the cool pics from Impulz at the Brabanthallen. It was a party to remember, the scene was 25+ and I saw one extreme creation after the other...just to bad they had the airco running it's lowest temp...so the hardhouse room was freezing....even with thousands of happy people dancing. Has anyone of you been thru shit like that in NYC? Guess not.. Oh well, as I said earlier it was one hell of a night.... I spoke to Saigray today from a hotel in Antigua Guatemala... LMFAO, it's funny to see people use excuses to smoke. It's an addiction nothing more and nothing less... I'm realy curious about the national non-smoking hype... Smoking seems to be a taboo at the U.S. , another chance for non-smokers to pic on the "weaknesses" of smokers...so easy and such a limited vision. I've been a 15 sics a day smoker, stopped for a few times. So I'm aware of the beneffits a non-smoker has. Nowadayz I only smoke about 1 pack a week. I can leave smoking easely, but I just like it..it's that simple.

Yes, you seem to be right about the wave we're riding.. Nowadayz we realy enjoy disco/salsa/merengue/funky influences in our house music...ofcourse the other streams in housemusic are always there...So I don't think there will be a next thing...dance music got so many options that there will always be something nice... But I prefer the carribean sounding vibe...to go with some nice vocals...or samples from the past.. That's why DJ Roog is currently my fav. DJ.
