EXIT..one of new yorks largest venue's if not the largest and has one of the largest legal occupancies of any nightclub in new york is being transformed into something undescribable for new years eve..Exit as you know it, will not be EXIT...This night is totally produced by DEEPER REKORDS. The production on this event is nothing less than spectacular...this event is a minimum of 30 hours straight.. actually jason ojeda came up with this idea...set the stage up since theres going to be over 150 guests..put 4 turntables and 4 cd players up there and let everyone have fun...because of the amount of dj's and guests this sounds like a great idea..the stage will become a big cocktail party with the dj's spinning right at the edge..could be a lot of fun. what do you think?

Don't listen to these people who do nothing but talk negative shit about anyone or anything thats positive ...they and their lives are irrelevant..what they have to say means nothing...who they are is irrelevant...on the upside..NATION opening up in LI is relevant..By NATION doing well, long island will have a night for people who can appreciate music. mike's absolutely right...all these dj's producers and remixers are friends of johnny's. I guess when word gets out about a respected person like johnny who's very well liked across the board that when someone calls and says ..let me do something for you..i'd like to play a little bit for your birthday...how do you say no...the list goes on & on..who's ever in town that week will be at the roxy for this party just because it johnny's party..maybe you do, maybe you don't understand..johnny has in his career played around the world many many times..has produced over two hundred tracks for various artists..had 5 songs produced by him on the top ten charts at one time...no one has ever done that before. i think this is a great lineup for a lot of reasons...lets take a quick look at each dj.. 1. BORIS.....if you haven't already been to fridays at discotheque or sundays at cheetah you should know that boris has been throwin down some pretty amazing sets at these spots..it's been about 4 years since boris played at the roxy when the roxy hosted new yorks biggest friday night party called BIG fridays..boris was the resident dj for that party...so in a sense its almost like a a big reunion... 2. EDDIE BAEZ. what can i say about eddie...very talented..original resident soundfactory dj...great person..eddie's going to rip ny a new asshole with his set beginning at 4am...i 'm calling his early morning set....vengence...if you have any heart problems..then get out.. before eddie goes on....maybe in a sense this is also an original sf reunion... 3. JASON OJEDA...This phenomenal talent...who put cpi on the map for 8 years..currently has residency's in mirage(li's biggest venue) sahara..clubs in jersey..has to constantly turn down more gigs because he's always booked..is one of new yorks music treasures...he never..never disappoints his crowd..the guy is just a great dj...this also might be in a sense a cpi reunion for all jason's fans. 4. SHELDON ROMERO..one of the most talented up and coming dj's around..his set at the sexy at the roxy party was amazing..can be heard live every monday from 3pm to 9pm on metromixradio. this is the guy to watch for in upcoming months..sheldon sets the tone for the night beginning at 10pm till midnight..we're very happy sheldon was available on this night to be at the roxy.. Everything will be posted within a couple of days...confirmations take a little time..but I will tell you this...some of the most popular dj's are being invited to play together for thanksgiving eve at the roxy...and the price of admission for this night is almost one half to two thirds less then any other party in town...the reason is the roxy feels by lowering the price of admission, taking into consideration parking & tolls, that with todays economy, more people will come out to enjoy an event if the price is right..it works for the roxy on saturday nights..so don't fix it if its not broken

those of you that still have a roxy card will be let in for a reduced admission..if you have the card and you arrive before midnight the admission is $15.00....if you have the card and you arrive after midnight then the price of admission is $20.00. CHRIS was part of the original party, holding down a residency in the cp lounge..as well as opening for JV on many occasions. This night is also a record release party for AUBREY who will perform her new remix by VICIOUS called "i'm waiting".

Everything about this party has become very interesting..as i said before this party was brought back to life by this message board..the positive comments kept coming in and in so much so that the roxy management read the boards, got excited and they to wanted this party to work. The last one on august 22nd was actually a trial party to see if it would work.. needless to say the party was great, the music from everyone was on point..vicious was great..the crowd was great. This was such a good party that the roxy has invited us to have this party once a month til whenever. there's a nice buzz on this party..probably the only 18+ party sunday night in the hamptons...seems that all the other parties are strict 21.. plus this party has two performances...besides the dj's...and half the price to get in...if you're bouncing around in the hamptons sunday..it might be worth your while to check out hom..

WOW...to all those people who said house is dead and hip hop has become the next progression..you should've been to the roxy this past friday. Progressive, hard house, trance, tribal & vocals were in full effect at this sexy at the roxy reunion. Watching the music progressions over the years..it does seem that in todays times, everything appears to be going more & more into a hip hop, r&b and a reggae direction..even on a commercial level, look at the playlist from KTU and Z100 not to mention MTV which is just about all hip hop..billboard magazine shows about 75% to 80% of the top 25 albums sold on a weekly basis in the country are hip hop, r&b & reggae. With clubs like SF introducing hip hop on the main floor, with exit converting to hip hop on both fri & sat, with every lounge playing hip hop, old skool, & rock & roll as its format on the main floor..with attendence slipping for those international dj's coming to ny....with all this happening, we were not really sure if this party at the roxy on the 22nd was just a good idea whose time and place had gone...We had a lot of things going against us..the time of the year, meaning the week before labor day weekend, everyone going back out of state to school, the weather was beautiful which means the jersey shore was probably packed as well as the hamptons and so forth & so on. but...what happened to those people that show'd up this past friday was magical..there was a feeling of unity, of solidarity, of love for the music that was played by all the dj's especially vicious. there was a message here also that was being sent out to everyone..."this is our music, this was and is my time" . whether you remember the days of the tunnel, SF or whatever club you used to go to..that this wasn't just a runion of a party that lasted about a year, but that this was a reunion for you and your time, when everyone lived and breathed progressive, trance or hard beats of all kinds. an emotional reunion of a time when you couldn't wait for the weekend...maybe before sept 11th, maybe before the economy crashed, when nightlife was babylon...so watching the faces of those people that show'd, feeling the energy eminating from them, hearing the shouts.. welcoming the music as one would welcome an old friend...seeing the smiles on the many faces. the relentless dancing on the stage as well as the main floor, that after all is said and done, this august 22nd gathering was a big success and that we can do this type of party again and again..and the bottom line..the beats are alive & well..

Just left M2..dougie lazer, the light company that services SF, tavern, hom and countless other clubs, has been working with his team to put in an amazing light show together on the main floor..the red room is very cool also...there are berthas with double 18's everywhere with extensions to dance on. The club itself is 15,000 square feet...anyone who has seen the inside walks away saying "this is very cool".....the tech crew that used to do the set designs at the tunnel are putting up the fabric and decor...the stage is fucking huge...and the stage in the red room is pretty big also...the main bar has an island where over 25 people can dance on....the whole thing is just very cool....to the haters and competitive promoters who have nothing better to do then trash a party before it starts....give it a rest,...you and you're negative posts are irrelevant..

Here's the deal...in order to lower the price of admission so everyone can come to the party at a reasonable price there are no promoter lists..there are several ways at this pont that one can come into this party for a reduced admission..this is the same policy as roxy's saturday night party. accordinging to the owners of the roxy..this will be an interesting event..if the turnout is good, which when you look at the boards the responce is amazing..then they would bring this party back either every week or once a month..now that the factory is going with more hip hop on the main floor and exit is all hardcore hip hop..perhaps this is the perfect time to bring this party back to ny...visious has many guests coming down to say hello and maybe get on the turntable...who knows...will keep you posted ..

There were so many dj's that played the roxy from mike rizzo, jason ojeda, denny tsettos, richie santana, eddie baez plus all the international talent...but what vicious would like to do, is bring the following four dj's back together and have them all back on the turntables for a little while before he goes on.....I believe the order is as follows: 1. Thursday I had a meeting with the roxy, johnny vicious, & roxy scott. The party is on. august 22nd beginning at 11pm. vicious would like mike bugout & dominick capella to open for him because they were associated with the party...great idea...it seems that people have called the roxy and have also asked to bring it back..so between that and the club plannet message board..it has arroused the interests of many many people...vicious has said he's so amped for this night that if you'll stay until whenever..he will take you on a musical journey from the tunnel to today's music and then off to the future... phazon technicions will be tweeking up the system in preperation for what appears to be a night that's will be crazy...the hip hop room will be open for those hip hop heads..main floor is vicious..stay tuned for more info

from what i understand, the porn star ball is being moved to sometime in september..the reason is many people who would have attended this event will be away..so by moving it to a better time when all the events of the summer are over and ny comes back in full swing after labor day or at least the end of september, the chances for a packed house for this fun event will be maximized.......so if that is the case from what I was told today friday...THE SEXY AT THE ROXY REUNION IS ON....FRIDAY AUGUST 22ND WITH JOHNNY VICIOUS playing the hits of today as well as the classics...there are going to be many more announcements the closer we get....its amazing...this all came about because someone posted on this board (not sure who it was maybe dee or joe diesel) how much they missed the roxy fridays and the next thing you know we're having another party in august...The scene it appears for right now in ny according to what i'm reading and hearing sucks...if this party is a success..which judging from all the responses just on this board this party will be off the meter..then maybe the roxy management will bring it back if not every friday at least once a month kind of like a first fridays party....anyway I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of faces that were our regulars and friends...I know the roxy is setting up the concert stage for the stage crew to rule that night...this is just fucking great...spread the word..august 22nd..rain or shine ..more info to follow
