  1. what was it about the sexy at the roxy party that made it special.. what we tried to do was build a night around hospitality, friendships, good music and just plain ol fun. with respect to every other venue..we did not try to compete with anyone..be yourself we supported..our vip members were given a discounted admission when they presented their card..it wasn't about what you think..we perhaps were a little commercial and maybe thats one reason the crowd was also very attractive. we never pretended to be cutting edge..even though we brought in johnny vicious, sandra collins, bad boy bill, ferry corstein, armin van buren, sasha, carl cox, d-fuse, tall paul, guy ornadel, derb and many other guest dj's, we also had deborah cox, amber, tina ann, dee roberts, iio, kim sozzi jessica folker, dirty vegas and many many more vocal track acts as well. plus we also had theme nights which were a lot of fun..but during the year we were at the roxy we developed many relationships with people that became friendships even after the party ended..so when you read about how people miss the party and wished it was back..I hope now, you might have a little more understanding about what it mean't to some people and to myself and my partners....
  2. absolutely incredible how much people miss that party..its amazing that wherever i go I see people that have made me feel good about the party and have expressed to me that they wish it was back..that it was one of the friendliest scenes in ny at the time..that they didn't appreciate it until it was over..and that the whole scene sucks right now. So guess what..the roxy also reads these boards and I got a call from scott about doing it again for a night in july..and if it packs out...who knows..It would be great to see the roxy stage crew back in full effect..sexy dee, mike bugout, larry, ronin, nychunk, joe diesel and everyone else who came and had a good time..your opinions are valued and the proof is that the roxy wants to do this one night again..and like I said..if its successful which I think it will be...who knows..what do you think?
  3. For 2 1/2 years, the Thursday night college party in Long Island was held at ZACHARY'S and CHELSEA STREET. Two clubs in East Meadow, 50 feet away from each other in the same shopping center, offered everyone the idea "pay at one, play at two." This Thursday, March 27th, they're opening again. This re-opening extravaganza promises to bring back the Thursday night college party back to L.I. Over 3,000 people are expected from Hofstra, C.W. Post, Adelphi, Nassau Community, St. Johns and God knows how many other colleges, cheerleaders, frats, sororities...you name it. Are all on board. The doors open at 10pm. Admittance is at both clubs. You get a stamp upon entering which enables you to go back and forth all night. Mention Clubplanet at the door for reduced admission. Zachary's and Chelsea Street are located in the Zachary's Shopping Plaza on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow. The phone number is (516) 794-9770. Don't be surprised at how many people you know from Exit, SF and Roxy. See you Thursday. We suggest you get there early...no joke.
  4. 1. Exit is not sold to a concert promoter. 2. Exit will open way before june 3. Exit management has chosen march 28th because it's the week after wmc is over and everyones back home 4. don't believe any bullshit you heard or read in the past 5. more info will follow real soon 6. promoters and their teams..contact the directors for info (some of you have been working in other venues to make an income while you were waiting to hear about exit...thats understandable...)..but now you know..friday march 28th.. we're back...
  5. Sunday, some of the directors from all the clubs have gotten together for a presidents day party at the roxy..dominick capella, chris asta and serge open up on the main floor followed by johnny vicious. Tom and james, from the W. 8th CLUB in ny, will be doin the hip hop & r&b sets in the hip hop room. In the backroom 4 other dj's will be bangin out some hard beats as well. It's been two weeks since exit, sf and arena were closed..if you've got cabin fever and need to get out..then come on out to the presidents party at the roxy. Doors open at 11pm. Get a print out of the clubplanet sticky, forward it to your friends and get in for a reduced admission or just ask for the clubplanet guest list. All lists close at 1:30am, so get there early. The party is 18 to party, 21 to drink with proper i.d. It would be nice to see the roxy stage crew back on the stage with vicious on the decks...Also I'm gonna try and get the roxy vip cards honored for sunday..but I'll find out sunday in the afternoon if its okay..I'll post it as soon as I know... Looking forward to seeing everyone at the roxy sunday......Hopefully, when these clubs go back to court, they will be allowed to reopen..ny needs the mega clubs..thats a fact
  6. I think back in the day, lisa lisa and the cult jam were huge..she was on a lot of tv shows but from freestye superstar statis she's now a regular track act...I don't know if they fit into this category but expose was huge also.
  7. Every wednesday myself and a few other directors host this great party at mirage in westbury. Mirage used to be sprats in westbury for those of you that remember that club, but it was torn town and mirage was built from the ground up....Mirage is no joke..it has taken the nightclub industry to an excitement level that hasn't been seen in quite awhile especially for these times.. I see that some of the cp heads have experienced this club and have all had a great time so to introduce the club to you, I'm inviting you to be my guest this wednesday. The doors open at 10pm..you can pm me with your names and then ask for bob g's guest list when you arrive. richie aka ruby will be holding the list..this is just for the gentlemen because ladies are free anyway..dress jeans are okay with shoes..but slacks is even better....Wednesdays its 21 for everyone. As far as the music..its a mix for everyone..dj riz does the hip hop, old skool and r&b sets while mada and moody do the house sets..Gentlemen..be prepared, the women will blow your mind..This party is all about fun..by the way its free valet parking so give yourself enough time to get there..if you're interested in bottle service (at reasonable prices)which is served in the vip sections you have to let me know also...anyway those of you who will come this wednesday ask for me, I'd like to say hello. Some of you might say, wednesday..I have to work on thursday I can't do this,.. but every wednesday the place is packed with the hottest crowd..the problem is once you get there...you're not leavin till the end..so on thursday, get a note from your mother or your doctor and tell your boss you're sick or you'll be a little late... because you've caught the mirage fever.

  9. This friday at EXIT on the main floor is RICHIE SANTANA followed by JASON OJEDA playing afterhours..there was a change ANTHONY NERO will be back at a later date. This was the two dynamic dj's who kicked off the evolution party which musically was a one two punch... their back together this friday jan 24th just to let you know about february's line up... FRIDAY FEB 7th main floor afterhours JASON OJEDA TONY DRAPER plus performing live DARK BEAT "addicted to drums" FRIDAY FEB 14th (valentines day, with something special for the ladies) main floor afterhours ANTHONY NERO MIKE BUGOUT FRIDAY FEB 21ST A MUSICAL JOURNEY THROUGH TIME WITH JOHNNY VICIOUS 11pm to 4am "THE CLASSICS" 4am to closing today's hottest tracks FRIDAY FEB 28th main floor afterhours DENNY TSETTOS to be announced
  10. just when I thought exit was getting it together,,they pull me back in...mike, larry and cody..lets change the name of the midnight room either to the IGLOO ROOM or THE POLAR BEAR CLUB...holy shit was that room cold..this week bring your records and space heaters....I'll see what we can do this week to make it warmer...be patient the summer will come..it'll get warmer by default..only kidding...
  11. news flash...larry and debbie caught dancing to hip hop in mirage...music heads committing suicide in the tri state area
  12. Anthony..the first time I met you, was when nj nick suggested to me, that there's this dj in jersey thats up and coming and that just rips shit up..that dj was you..On your first night at the roxy..you were incredible...With VICIOUS and NERO doing afterhours on the main floor...the feedback is sick..The opening of the midnight room for all the music heads headed by mike bugout and guest dj's jon stephon an tooch is gonna be great....the red room with chris asta and serge is gonna explode..What I think happens on a special night like this..is that there's an excitement thats felt throughout the club and every dj in every room steps up and plays their hearts out including the guest dj's...the night has its own electricity thats perhaps hard to describe but definately felt. With what we're trying to do with this new evolution party in respect to customer appreciation is starting to happen..Its amazing. Not one post about hostile search proceedures...The changing of dj's on a weekly basis, brings a freshness each week with each dj's individual style being welcomed..It seems to me, more and more people are coming back and are willing to give exit another shot..management is working with us...it's going to take a little time, but every week it seems to be getting better and better...This friday, We're looking forward to your relentless non-stop energetic set thats gonna make bloomberg stuff cotton in his ears down in city hall....The weather reports are good so far..if everything works out with you and vicious..it's gonna be off the fuckin meters....
  13. Well, the first week is over...very positive reviews all over about last week..it looks like a lot of people are making the journey back to exit with the changes going on...someone said to me last friday after looking around..."I don;t think we're in kansas anymore toto..the vibe here is different.." what I'm really excited about is the new music room now in exit..its not very big, but with mike bugout and larry(legend) heading it..its probably the most serious music driven room in exit. it's next to the coatroom.. "mike seriously, with all the comments on the boards, how the fuck are you going to fit everyone in there". dominick capello opens up with his sexy tribal beats..then DENNY TSETTOS rips it followed by JASON OJEDA afterhours..sylee and her divas return with the hottest dancers as well as sasha's dancer's on the stage and their great costumes...Spoke to RIZ..he's really looking forward to this friday because of the crowd he played to last week..so we'll see friday was it a fluke or is it the beginning of the next evolution for exit.. next week for the first time in a long time on friday night JOHNNY VICIOUS with ANTHONY NERO doing afterhours....
  14. After building a relationship with paul morris and jimmy van m, Two of the biggest international management companies, two great men who recognized the terrible financial economy we're in had agreed to lower the price of the international dj's, thereby, the promoters would lower the price of the admission to the customers and keep it at maybe 25 or 30.00 admission max and the house would lower the rental to the promoters...everyone was a winner..the house would benefit because the customer could afford the cost and there would be greater volumn for bar sales...The sexy at the roxy party would be over but a new party would begin which was all about the music..what aluv and frankie santos would've done is to make the roxy The ministry of sound or cream of the u.s. with the international dj management companies help..this night would have been incredible..a consistant music driven night that could have become the signature venue for music especially with a 400,000 phazon sound system. Instead the ownership and management has decided to rent out the venue to one off's. So for now, this concept is on the back burner so to say..I myself was offered an opportunity to climb aboard exit fridays and help with changing the current party to where it was once upon a time and also with some new direction..bring in a fresh new flava to a great venue.. I am working with many talented american dj's and will give chances to other up and coming dj's who deserve a shot..Exits new evolution party would not have competed with this music party at the roxy but would have complimented it by offering to new york two totally different types of parties in big venues..I know aluv and frankie very well...there not sleeping..sooner or later something big will happen for them bringing to ny a music scene venue for all the music heads... anyway..thats why it ended if anyone wants to know
  15. So many positive posts about last friday...we just booked VICIOUS on friday january 10th and afterhours with ANTHONY NERO....DOMINICK CAPELLO opens for VICIOUS....MIKE BUGOUT and LARRY(LEGEND have taken over a room at exit to make it more for music heads and friends with no handcuffs or restrictions..they have some really talented people lined up..that room I guarantee you will be the hottest room to get into..its away from the main floor and will have it's own inner circle of people....contact mike or larry for more info.... Even RIZ in the secret room doing his hip hop...had a great time this past friday with a crowd that was totally different then what its been. I hope everyone has a safe new years eve.......but get ready to start the new year this coming friday at exit's new party EVOLUTION with DENNY TSETTOS and afterhours with JASON OJEDA...
  16. First things first...When I got there early I had a meeting with the head of security doug..I know doug for a lot of years he's a good guy..we agreed on bringing into play more courtesy, hospitality, a friendlier entrance using the words please and thank you,..no prostrate examinations please..if you look at the boards no one complained about the security search. Overall they did a nice job..spoke to the management and the door staff about what we're trying to accomplish..so david and ralphie, the door staff turned away over 500 people who were not dressed correct..exit is not a rave party..ufo's, thugs were turned away...(no door drama..go shopping)..brought in some of the best, hottest sexy dancers with great costumes to color the room..richie santana did a great job.. jason ojeda was great(look at his post) the lights were on point. the door staff, the security and customers told me where the fuck did this crowd come from..they haven't seen girls and guys like this in a long time. the faces on the promoters went from disenchantment to excitement,..the place was electric..more people were drinking at the bars. the social scene was there..there's still so much to do..the white room has to be worked out better..people have to be paid earlier. the music programming in the other rooms has to be tightened up..all of this and more will be worked out..we got some great ideas for the future..with everyones help exit will make a positive statement for the nightclub scene in ny. this week denny tsettos works the main floor and once again jason ojeda does the afterhours set... on another note...THE SEXY AT THE ROXY PARTY IS OVER. Its been one year since myself and aluv started a party that the critics said wouldn't last more than six weeks. I personally had a great time meeting a lot of really nice people. The roxy management has decided that instead of a weekly continuous dance party..they would narrow it down to only one offs which aluv will bring to you down the road. I have made this move to exit with the cooperation of the current directors and management to make these changes for evolution. For those of you who liked the party at the roxy, exit now will have a similar feel in terms of the quality of people, except that instead of basically only one main room, exit offers 4 additional rooms besides the main floor, that will bring to you a variety of music, vibe, and energy. This is a good thing. All promoters who worked at the roxy are welcome to join us at exit. please contact bonnie at misriss@aol and join us. My thanks to everyone at the roxy..you guys were great..rosalie, jason, morgan and off coarse roxy scott..mike rizzo(one of the good guys)and johnny vicious(the man) and all the loyal supporters..thanks again from myself and aluv
  17. when aluv and myself started the party at the roxy a year ago, we said to be patient with us..things take time. The international dj's are sometimes booked 6 months in advance. We started on labor day weekend with P.A.M. management and presented 5 dj's on one night including SCOTT BOND, EDGAR V etc. we then brought you SANDRA COLLINS and GUY ORNADEL..then we had TALL PAUL and BAD BOY BILL..In the month of october you had SASHA and CARL COX. Made events brought you TIESTO and PVD. The month of december brought you AVB and now FERRY this friday. But it seemed that every international dj brought out their own crowd with a little crossover. And that once the dj was gone so was the crowd...you were only as good as the external reason you had on the turntables and thats it. The problem is what happens in between international dj's. Should the club close up..no, it can't do that its got to stay open..so we went after another crowd, for lack of a better word, a commecial crowd..for those of you who want a better looking crowd, the commercial crowd by far had the most attractive women and men hands down, but when the international dj's came on, the commercial crowd left..when the commercial crowd was there, the music crowd left, you can't win..When SASHA played he got bad reviews on this board..but he's SASHA. When OAKENFOLD played here in NY, he got bad reviews, but he's OAKENFOLD We have great dj's right here that always seem to please the crowd. VICIOUS, TENEGLIA, PETERS, TSETTOS, OJEDA, SANTANA, RIZZO, NERO, RYDELL, AMATUCCI, BUGOUT, DRAPER, MADA, MOODY, CAPELLA and countless others who play their balls off every single week but because some of them didn't arrive with a plane ticket you take it for granted..A night out at exit or most clubs should be a fun night out be it for the music and/or the social scene..this music prejudice is tired already..we have great fucking dj's right here..have you listened to some of the dj's on metromixradio..their incredible..as far a promoters go..Yes its true, some promoters are full of shit..their job is to promote..thats how they make a living..but sometimes its not their fault..you go to the doctor and say"doc, everytime I bang my head on the wall my head hurts..what should I do" thats easy..stop banging your head on the wall..owners and management are sometimes also part of the problem..but this time I believe exit wants to make this change...only time will tell
  18. When I was first contacted by the directors and management of exit about new changes that are about to take place I was asked would I consider climbing on board.. I thought about the incredible potential of this n.y. mega club. I spoke to a lot of people about exits new changes..across the board everyone said definately.... one of the definitions of evolution in the dictionary reads "a process of change in a particular direction: to develope or change by evolution: what better name for a new beginning..EVOLUTION. Although, I must give respect to imagine fridays. To the directors and TONY DRAPER, who kept this party going strong for 4 years. We are at a time right now, perhaps the worst econimical time we have ever experienced. where job layoffs are continuous, the stock market is crashing, retirement funds, 401k's and pension funds are deminishing and unemployement is rising. In times of depression one thing always was a factor that flourished..the nightclub business..for those few hours we come into a club and escape from the reality of our lives. I think we need it now more than ever...Exit with what it has to offer, gives us that..the ultimate nightclub escape..its got something for everyone..its a 60,000 square foot entertainment complex that was designed with the club goer in mind...you.. so now we're at this new beginning..whats going to change..for one thing hopefully security will be more courteous..more friendly. Different respected main floor dj's that bring a different sound each week keeping it fresh, with a following to support them. the other rooms will present dj's on rotation so everyone gets a chance to spin sometime in exit..coloring the room with hot sexy dancers and performances..but perhaps the biggest change will be, not taking anything for granted..to appreciate the individual. To bring back to NY a simple 3 letter word...FUN This is a process which will go into effect starting this friday december 27th..its going to take a little time for it to work but if you give it a chance, everyone comes out a winner..the haters will always be out there..those faceless people hiding behind a computer who assert their identity through negative attention..they're not important..constructive criticism is and will be listened to... So as we begin this process of evolution at exit, we invite you to join us on friday, as we welcome RICHIE SANTANA to the main floor and JASON OJEDA immediately following for the afterhours set. Week number 2 (the first friday in the new year january 3rd) DENNY TSETTOS takes over the turntables with hopefully JOHNNY VICIOUS on the third week.. It's a new year, a new beginning and a new exit..
  19. mike..you did a great set as promised..started off with some sexytribal and building into pure energy.you just keep gettin better and better..thanks.
  20. I'm sure most of you heard of this new club called mirage in westbury L.I. A bunch of us are involved on the wednesday night party.lets just say...Mirage is incredible no promoter bullshit..The owner who also owns cyberia in farmingdale has built this multi million dollar facility with some help from the designers of the luxor hotel in vegas..its only open 3 weeks and has become a runaway train.myself, artie and joey, richie rubenstein, johnnyz, antonio fuccio, jen bmi, ralphie doo, franchesco have all joined together to bring you an incredible wednesday night party..here are some details..ladies are free all night..gentlemen only $10.00, valet parking is free with 35 valet parkers waiting to take your car. dress jeans are okay, no sneakers..its so packed with some of the most attractive people you'll ever see in one place..to give you an idea of the scope of this club when they kicked off the after work party on fridays the temptations performed live..Fridays are now rediculous..Saturday nights forget it. If you're not their by midnight..you're not getting in. JASON OJEDA spins also on saturdays. Tonight, wednesday.. CARMEN ELECTRA is hosting. MADA & MOODY are spinning the house set while RIZ rips up the hip hop, r&b, reggae & old skool set..This new spot is pulling people from clubs throughout the tristate area every night it's open..but tonight..wednesday is our night..PM me if you want some more info about guest lists, bottle service,..parties etc... Trust me..you will be amazed.
  21. For 5 years, myself, aluv and frank mancuso(now at exit) started a party on thursday nights in the summer and holiday sundays at this mega club on the water in queens. The thousands of people who came during those days came from queens, brooklyn, staten island, westchester and L.I.. Metropolis is gone now, but there were a lot of people who had a great time there. So many people have expressed feelings about the days at metropolis and have asked us to do a reunion. It had gotten to the point that we felt it was time. So for those people that this applies to..its going to a lot of fun to see this reunion of friendships..to everyone else, enjoy yourself anyway with JOHNNY VICIOUS, a favorite at the roxy.
  22. maybe I can get a picture with you and carl cox for your birthday...then I'm gonna get you fucked up so bring a designated driver
