I know this is long but please read..for a long time everyone complains how much the admission is to these top international dj's ..rightfully so..this is a great thing that has happened..when the management company, the promoters and the club all get on the same page and say,..we recognize the times we are in..lets make it more affordable so everyone can enjoy the event and if it works then we can do it again and again..The cost of theses dj's, the airfare, the hotels, limosenes, the posters around ny, the invitations, the mailings, e-mails, decor, reinforced sound, visuals, distribution, lazers, staff increased(which usually runs overtime also depending how long it goes) ete..etc..is rediculous..When a well respected company like balance says hey lets make this a great party..first and foremost..lets make it affordable for everyone..you give and we'll give..its gotten out of control considering the times we're in..When in the history of these types of events has a management company recognized this..My hat goes off to BALANCE. Take into consideration the cost of parking..I get wacked for $40.00 because I have an suv. tolls 7.00 You haven't even bought a drink and you went for 70 or 80 bucks..with tiesto, sasha, carl cox, pvd all within 3 weeks regardless of who's doing the party how many people can afford it everyweek..then you have saturday..wherever you go..more money...if you're one of the lucky ones that's not feeling the times we're in..god bless you..but if you're feeling it..and you want to see this international star, you certainly can appreciate it..and then maybe you'd still have enough for the other things you would like to do..Sasha coming to the roxy is a great event..calls are coming in like crazy..(no p.r. bullshit). I only hope other management companies can step up to the plate as balance did where their concerns are not only for their talent but to you the public as well..The bottom line..a great night of music, excitement plus an appreciation of an artist...We want sasha to come back to the roxy whenever he is available as well as you the public..maybe down the road other artists, agents, clubs and promoters can all get on the bandwagon and bring to you a great night in ny that makes sense...

besides club planet, you can get tickets at ticketmaster, satelite records in ny, the roxy boxoffice every day till about 6..a little later then 6 on wed and fri. there are also promoters who are selling advance tickets

people don't realize that there is a public parking lot right in chelsea piers..here's what you do..go up 23rd street..get on the west side highway..go into the service road for chelsea piers..pull into the parking garage which is around 18th street..park your car, cross over the west side highway(there is a light) and walk down 18th street a little past the middle of the block to the front door of roxy...you're right there.. your car is secured and safe and you don't have to walk that far

this is so silly...what really happened was I called carl cox..he couldn't do it..so I called paul vandyk..he had a gig in germany..so I called paul oakenfold..he couldn't do it..so I called dt..he wasn't home...sasha was on a date..digweed went to the movies...now sasha is pissed off at van dyke cause he thinks I called him first..oakie won't return my calls cause he said I called him first..the truth is I called louie devito first but he changed his number...nobody really opened. we had a cd from webster hall which worked fine until bad boy bill went on........now can we all get along..LOL **by the way mike, you did a nice job.

last night was an intense night for music at the roxy..sandra collins was great as was expected..my pleasant surprise was guy ornadel..(by the way he's sasha's manager)the last two hours of his set he was amazing..relentless non stop energy..playing tracks you never heard..incredible....people constantly came into the booth just to tell him how amazing he was and shake his hand..not to mention what nice people both sandra and guy are.. if you were there..you would have understood what world class dj's are about and why..special thanks to frankie santos from madness entertainment for bringing us this night... ** to the couple who did their thing on the dance podium without realizing everyone was watching them even though the lights were on them...thanks for the show..next time I suggest you get a short stay in a motel..

heres the deal..the tickets are going on sale both at ticketmaster and the roxy box office hopefully monday. whoever is telling people its sold out is misinformed..they haven't even been on sale yet.. plus besides CARL COX the whole club is being decorated by an outside company for holloween...Their going make the roxy absolutely insane as per CARL COX'S request. about labor day weekend..the last weekend of the summer..No.1 the only way to get a room at the jersey shore and the hamptons was to take all three days. Plus what about las vegas, bridgeview and all the other water spots not to mention how many people went back to school out of town.. Half of our staff was away..the reality is that many of our regulars went away. So it seems who ever was left in town came over..to hear scott bond & edgar v.. Had this not been the last weekend of the summer but any other friday night in the summer roxy would have been packed..by the way, this was the only time these dj's were available when they were booked in early june. Still it was a good way to end the summer with the line up we had..watch what happens when the fall season kicks in full gear..this party I guarantee you will be off the fuck'n meter, out of control..and running much later just by default because of the size of the crowd
