Here's a tip: write "ask for photo ID" on the back of your card instead of your signature. that a) is a back up for the cashier to ask for more id and your card is actually not valid unless it is signed. (when you get a new card... this si atcually in the "small print" somewhere ) SO if someonen does steal your card and the cashier doesn't check for id/signatures, this protects you against any of the purchases they make. ] you know what the sad thing is though? i write that on all mine and they NEVER check ID i have to ask THEM to look!
