  4. Some geniuse wrote: (aka- MURSA) - The rich get rich in part by taking advantage of poor people Survey Says? X You know your a socialist, right? Your entitled to have that belief but you are in the last place that logic actually has any relevance, AMERICA! (Longest lasting democracy to date) Socialism is an old, tired failure. Why you embrace such a historically failed ideology and logic really has me scratching my head? You might want to try selling that in another capitalistic republic super power. It comes across like a student lecturing the professor. America earned it's rightful place in the world. America was not given it's power and success. It was not entitled, nor were any others. There's nothing wrong w/ working hard to achieve a goal. Success should never be punished, rather, it should be applauded and taught to all that will listen. You seem to share the same gene as Sen. John Kerry and most of today's democrats. You wrongly believe that Gov't was meant to govern over the people. President Bush, myself, and as of yesterday the majority of America happen to believe that the Gov't was meant to govern FOR the people, not OVER them. Get it? Listen scooter, The top 50% of wage earners pay 96% of all Federal Income Taxes(Read that last line again, and again, and again). The top 10% percent pay 65%. The top 5% pay 53%. The poor don't pay taxes, hence being poor. I'm not one who believes I'm entitled to prosperity via the Gov't. Success breeds success. The Gov't can't tax us into prosperity. Therefore, it would be unwise to punish success in America by over taxing those who succeed. Take away the prize and then there's not much worth fighting for. Our economy is driven by the private sector, not the Gov't. You can't expect to maintain the entrepreneurial spirit which is our CASH COW. It makes the wheel go round. Sky's the limit. Sacrifice, Work hard, Be responsible and obey the rule of law. That's the formula for increasing your chances at reaching financial stability and maybe even prosperity. There are no guarantees in life. There are no entitlements. To assume so is foolish and ungrounded from reality,,,some might say even WHACKED! You want those new shoes? Work, save up and buy them. You want that nice car? Ditto! You want that big house? Ditto! You might be surprised how much of better person that journey might make you. It's called character and integrity which by all account, you lack. To be quite honest, If you really want to get down to the nuts and bolts of this issue imagine this: Imagine you're king for the day and you make taxes optional. This way, the true "do gooders" could donate all they wish to the Gov't. Those who support the Gov't programs donate what they want, those who don't, DON'T! How well do you think this tax plan will function? If you could do this I think you would be awoken to the reality that not many(probably including yourself) would be giving away their money. NOT GONNA HAPPEN GUY! Therefore, the hypocrisy of your implication of taking more from the ones who are already doing their fair share and then some is a little offensive. Not much, but enough. (Take your stinking paws out of my wallet!) Look dude, you've got it all wrong. American Gov't should be as limited as possible. It should only help maintain and protect a fair environment in which business' can grow. If you keep putting hurdles up, you foolishly destroy what too many have worked hard and died trying to preserve. In America, we the people decide. Americans choose those whom they believe will best represent them, their beliefs, convictions and vision. Once every 4 years, we're lucky to have the right to vote for whom we wish can best lead this great super power. Some tried to imply Bush was not even worthy of winning the election in 2000. Gore won the popular vote by 500,000 and most of his supporters screamed that from the mountain tops and planted the seed of illegitimacy. 2 yrs. later, America spoke again and gave Republicans the majority in both houses of congress. Regardless of what was staring them right in the face, democrats insisted on regurgitating the myth of President Bush's illegitimacy. Let's review shall we? He wins a close one in 2000, Demz believe it's just a fluke. There's no way America would disagree w/ them, Right? Then comes 2002 mid-term elections and POW, Republicans clean house. Take congress and governorships. Still, these same OMNISCIENT democrats choose to point blame and invent conspiracy rather than soul search. Finally, 2004 presidential election, President Bush wins the popular vote by almost 4,000,000 (yes, 4 million and counting,,,,still counting absentee votes). President Bush wins the electoral vote. Republicans gain even more seats from both houses of congress and increase even more governorships. America again spoke LOUDLY. Apparently the last 2 times fell upon deaf ears. Ironically, there are still those who've yet to be successful which keep trying to push their failed propaganda. Why would anyone in their right mind take the advice of 3 time LA-LA-LA,,,,LOOOOOSERS! Apparently, for anyone who's grounded in reality, you must see the major tidal shift in the culture of America. Looks like Americans aren't as dumb as today's democratic party thought they were. The rest of the globe is still drinking the Kerry Kool-Aid, but as of Nov 2nd,,,Kerry WHO??????? The SILENT MAJORITY has again spoken and spoken loudly. Both Demz and Repz knew the stakes of this election. They both knew w/ Repz controlling congress, a Bush re-election could possibly bring desperately needed conservative change to our Gov't. With Supreme Court Justices expected to retire w/in the next few years (maybe up to 4 Justices), this could mean "quite a bit" don't ya' think? Right now, the 9 judge panel consists of 5 Repz and 4 Demz. President Bush appointing up to 4 Supreme Court Justices(which they will hold for life)? Are you shaking in your boots yet? Don't silly rabbit. Bush is not the NAZI "yo' dying raza" claims he is(Just check your latest election map,,,and good luck finding any BLUE). So, I understand the "dirty trix". I understand why the left chose to attack the man rather than his policy. You again "mis-underestimated" the American people and their value of character, core convictions and principle. Apparently, character does matter. You can't have a record of "liberalism" and FAKE being a conservative come election time. Maybe in the past, but not today, NO WAY. I guess the good guy does win out at the end. Well, there's always Canada "eh" ? LOL For the drama queens threatening to "FLEE" to Canada, by all means,,,GOOD REDDENS. God Bless America and Pray for our troops. Class dismissed. DJ OBBY, aka,,,SUPER "DOOPER" CITIZEN (like you call me).

  7. LOL You had to throw the "eat box" in huh ????? Love it !!!!!!! You have a great attitude Cianci. Allot of individuals have excepted this historical election results and have put their hate aside and have now decided to work with the majority in both winning this war and strengthening our economy. Kerry is one of them. I had little respect for the man just like allot of you had little respect for Bush but after reading the transcripts of his phone call to Bush, I got the feeling that he, like many have decided to work in uniting the divided. When it comes down to it....it is in our hands to work together. To prove to the world that although we have our differences we will not let terrorist nor our difference in opinions divide us. We have had many differences in the past and history has proven that in the long run.....we worked them out. The elections are over. Lets get back to the underground and spreading the sounds that allot of us here have incredible knowledge of.

  11. Sebastian Moore - "Hunted" San is one of Europe’s leading DJs and producers, achieving great success with a track called ‘Janeiro’ by Solid Sessions. When Sebastian Moore handed San a copy of his productions on CD at a gig in the Netherlands, it only took San a matter of a few days to sign Moore exclusively to his label, F2 Recordings. And with this release, it is not difficult to see why. The original mix of ‘Hunted’ is a solid progressive work out – nothing groundbreaking, but worth consideration next time you are vinyl shopping. What raises this release above the competition though, is the remix by DJ San, that rightly takes its place on the a-side of the vinyl. This is a rolling, grinding breaks monster. Rounded beats, subtle synths, a sweet melody and machine gun percussion propel this remix forward at a rapid rate of knots. Add the melancholic vocals of singer Polished, and you have a real winner. This track would fit nicely into many sets and has been in the front of my crate for days and I see it staying there. Expect more support from both the progressive and breaks communities. Full track to be posted on my website this weekend. Must Have Real Player To Sample This Track Sample Here Enjoy, OBBY
  12. Some of those mega millionaires worked hard to be where they are at today. Not all were lucky enough to have Grandma or Grandpa leave them something when they passed away. I try and put myself in their shoes and I myself would be bitter if: 1- I worked hard for my money and 2- Just because I made I am now to be taxed extra Sorry, doesn't make sense to me at this point. Not all millionaires inherited their millions. From what i have read the top 50% of wage earners pay 96% of the taxes. Poor people don't pay taxes because they don't have the money, hence being poor.

  15. I found this to be a great read. Enjoy, No power on Earth can intimidate a free nation (Filed: 04/11/2004) In the end, it wasn't even close. George W Bush won a decisive endorsement from the American people for the most radical presidency of modern times. It was a vindication of his own idiosyncratic kind of conservatism: folksy, evangelical, optimistic, unapologetic and, when necessary, martial. The triumph of this Churchillian conservatism will delight the President's friends and confound his critics, but it will also strike fear into all enemies of America and the West. For those enemies understand very well what the re-election of Mr Bush really signifies. Following hard on the heels of John Howard's triumph in Australia, it demonstrates that the leaders of the war on terror, at least in the English-speaking nations, have enough support to persevere in their task, and that our democracies are sufficiently robust to withstand attempts by the terrorists to influence elections. The President would have won even without Osama bin Laden's sinister re-emergence in the last week of the campaign, but it is heartening to know that the margin of victory was almost certainly widened by al-Qa'eda's intervention. Americans voted in record numbers to return to the White House a president who had been more reviled, at home and abroad, than ever before. They have demonstrated once and for all that no power on Earth can intimidate a free nation. This now takes its place among those truths which Americans hold to be self-evident. Not the least impressive aspect of the Bush victory was its unambiguous rejection of the argument that carried so much weight on this side of the Atlantic: that only a new president would be able to heal the wounds left by the liberation of Iraq. Mr Bush has now been given the tools to finish the job of helping the Iraqi people to create the first genuine democracy in the Arab world. He obtained his mandate without making irresponsible promises to withdraw US troops by a certain date or to hand over the burden to others, such as the UN, without the means to protect this fragile plant. Afghanistan's first free election has established a precedent that Iraq, with Britain's help, can hope to follow. Slowly but surely the tide may be turning in Iraq, as the jihadis holed up in Fallujah will soon discover. The result has brought those in Europe who dreamt of a Kerry victory down to earth. It ought to be a wake-up call for those European states - above all Germany and France -which have held aloof not only from the liberation, but also from the reconstruction of Iraq. There is no point in hoping that the French and Germans will change their minds about Mr Bush, or vice versa, but self-interest dictates that both sides should draw a line under the past. European leaders should not wait till next January to embrace the new, democratic Iraq. Mr Bush, for his part, is also likely to adopt a more conciliatory style in his second term - aware that his Administration's public diplomacy has hitherto been its Achilles' heel. The President will want to banish the unjust accusation of unilateralism, but, as the leader of the free world, he needs to retain the flexibility to act speedily and decisively. Pre-emptive military force is a last resort, but a necessary one. This raises the two issues that are likely to test the Atlantic partnership over the next year: Iran and Israel. Teheran's imminent acquisition of a nuclear capability and its role in the Iraqi insurgency make Iran the most urgent item in Mr Bush's in-tray. He cannot ignore this threat, but neither can he afford another Iraq on a bigger scale. Britain, France and Germany have tried and failed to appease Iran. Regime change is the only long-term solution, but Mr Bush is likely to rely on backing the internal opposition, rather than military options, to help bring this about. Europeans should not repeat the mistake they made over Iraq, supporting the insupportable and then crying foul when America kicked away the last props. This time, Europe itself could provide the model for regime change: in Iran, the ayatollahs are as unpopular as the communists were in eastern Europe before 1989. Mr Bush should follow Reagan's example, appealing to the Iranians over the heads of their leaders. If he does, Europe should back him. On Israel, there is a widespread expectation (voiced yesterday in the Commons) that the President will now bully Ariel Sharon into giving the Palestinians what they have failed to extort by terrorism. That is not what Mr Bush believes, nor what he was elected to do. But he is uniquely placed to reassure the Israeli public that a withdrawal from Gaza, and ultimately most of the West Bank, could make Israel and Palestine more rather than less secure. If Mr Bush can broker a two-state solution that even Mr Sharon can live with, then there is a chance that it might happen - especially if Yasser Arafat is no longer able to sabotage it. What does the second Bush term mean for the United States? The economy is in urgent need of rather more attention than the President has been able to give it since September 11, 2001. The ballooning budget deficit requires cuts in public spending; Arnold Schwarzenegger has shown what can be done in California. Tax cuts are still the unique selling point of Bush's brand of politics, but priority should now go to the taxpayers of middle America rather than the corporate interests of Wall Street. During his first term, "compassionate conservatism" was just a slogan; now Mr Bush can make it happen. This was not merely a vote for the status quo, but for an idealistic vision of America as the land of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Terrorism threatens all three, and the electorate chose the candidate whom it judged to be the best guardian of that patriotic archetype. Americans do not expect their president to run their lives for them, but to let them pursue their own, infinitely various, ways of life. Yet they knew exactly what Mr Bush stands for. His opposition to same-sex marriages, for example, was endorsed by constitutional amendments in 11 states. His attitude to embryonic stem cell research and abortion was equally clear. Second-term presidents are often less radical, and it may be that Mr Bush will appoint less abrasive colleagues in order to ameliorate America's image abroad. But the country he leads is diverging from Europe: it is younger, more self-confident, more prosperous, more devout, more diligent, more democratic and, in short, more conservative. Europe must come to terms, not only with Mr Bush, but with the nation that has elected him. This is a president who really can speak for America.
