They stopped filming back in September - a few weeks after labor day. It hasn't changed at all except they moved the DJ booth down right by the main flloor - it get kind of crowded in that area but its nice for them to have more interaction w/ the crowd and to see how they can work a track. Other than that everything else is the same - easily one of (if not THE) best clubs out here

Keep checking the master list once it gets close to the dates. The final 6 weeks before they will start releasing what DJ's are spinning/where/on what dates. Most of the big parties will have presale tickets that gaurantee you admission w/ little to no line. Pick out what parties you know you want to hit and buy the presales. I did this last year to a few parties - the price was cheaper than at the door and we walked right in. Space sells 3 day passes for $100 and 5 day passes for $150 the month before the conference. They charge at least $50 at the door - so if you like their lineup that is definitely worth it. Probably the best option to gaurantee entry if you don't have presales is to go early.

Probably won't find anything out until 3-4 weeks before the conference like last year - for some reason it seems like his parties are always put togather and announced really close to date he spins.

Last time he was at ICE the music was insane - should be a great party!!!

Probably a nice hotel but way to far up collins in my opinion. Going to be a pretty decent cab ride every time you go out. I would look into hotels no higher than 23rd and Collins all the way down to 5th and Collins/Ocean - that hotel is at least 20 blocks away from the action

BTW - Rooney is closed down. They went bankrupt and are converting to all condos

The Shelbounre and Clevelander have the best pool parties during the day but I've heard their rooms are nasty. I know a few people who's reservations got cancelled last year a week before the conference b/c they overbooked @ the Shelbourne so I probably wouldn't take a chance there.

I would strongly reccomend going to Rain on Sunday. Rain is a sick club but the music is usually garbage. However, this parties will probably have the best music you can find for that night. The club Rubber parties are insane - lots of eye candy and they decorate the club really nice. Studio 54 doesn't have any big DJ's that night which usually means it will be a mix of everything from hip-hop to top 40 to house and trance Check out the link for more info - its gonna be $40 at the door so I would suggest getting presales for $30 so you don't have to wait in line http://www.spiritworld.com/

Here are a few reccomendations for good house music that weekend Friday Not many crazy parties announced but still tons of good night life. I would reccomend Tabu to start, then either Tangerine or Body English. Drais is a good option for afterhours but the line is usually insane on big weekends. Get there around 3:30 or 4 Saturday ICE - Ferry Corsten is spinning their monster ball - would definitely check this place out - best club out here in my opinion - place has a NY vibe to it on Saturdays. Probably the craziest party that night - would strongly reccomend going. Can get tickets to gaurantee entry and skip the line @ www.ticketmaster.com for will call pickup Tangerine - Dj Skribbles is spinning but I am pretty sure it will be more of a hip hop set. Was a great hotel aside from the service and crowded elevators. Rooms were huge for a great price and it had a really nice pool area. Place closed down for good though August 31st b/c it went bankrupt. It is being redone as only condos and rooms won't be available to the general public

Has anyone ever stayed there? It in the 500 block of Ocean Drive - how is that area?

The Macaroni palace closed down - they are converting to all condos now. Sucks b/c even though it was a zoo last year you can't beat the rooms

Got some good music coming up in the next few weeks at this place. Has anyone been yet? I've heard its a partially gay club - any reviews or comments about it? From what I hear there is going to be some really good DJ's coming through to this spot but I'm not sure how comfortable I'll be in that type of atmosphere
