  1. ICE was fucking packed last time he was here for memorial day - it just emptied out at the end (from 4:30 on). Not sure if people didn't know it was afterhours or what, but the first 3 hours I was there - 1:30 - 4:30 - there was no room to move or dance Either way its going to be a great party w/ all the NYer's in town - the flyer is awesome but its too big for me to post
  2. They are supposed to stay open until 8am - this party is gonna be nutz
  3. Boris is on the patio @ Pure on Friday Night Jonathan Peters is at Studio 54 Friday night doing a 10 hour set from 10-8
  4. A big factor is what kind of music you like - but here are some places I would reccomend regardless PURE in ceasars - the newest and nicest club out here ICE on Saturdays (if you like good house music) Body English RA Tangerine OPM (for R7B and hip hop) Drais and Rubber for afterhours
  5. Thank God Nocturnal booked some of these DJ's - that lineup is awesome!! Tickets on wanttickets are $25 - whats the deal w/ the guestlist?? Can't wait to check this place out
  6. He was out here this weekend in Vegas - Said the terrace will open at Midnight - opening DJ's will be on until 3:30 - Lisa pure will perform 3 live songs - and he will go on from 4 - ???? Can't wait for this party
  7. Sorry - just going off of what I've heard But if you think Crobar in Chicago is great you have serious issues - I lived there my whole life - place is by far the worst of the 3 (asuming NY is #1). Its a closet compared to the one in Miami and the crowd is horrible
  8. He won't be at Crobar - but I will gaurantee he'll be at Space for the Subliminal Party - he' follows the subliminal crew around b/c he's been doing a few tracks w/ Morillo
  9. I've never been to the one in NY - but its very similar. I thought its a great looking club - very open - tons of room - has another area that is like a seperate club w/in the club that has different music. Its not exactly an intimiate setting - but if you like big clubs - you should like this BTW - its a hell of a lot better than Space (even though the patio rocks)
  10. Your right - I didn't look at the flyer close enough. Gonna be so much better than it would have been at the Shelbourne. Definitely check this party out people
  11. Definitely Crobar - although I hear its similar to the one in NY if you have ever been. I would still check out Opium Garden one of the nights just to see the club, but the Carl Cox party is going to be nutz
  12. This looks like the best party so far - definitely want to check out Nocturnal - this is the night to do it Tuesday, March 22 Magnetik Music and East side productions presents NY LOVES MAGNETIK 10pm until 10am MAIN ROOM john creamer & stephane k david vasquez dj vibe low end specialists randall jones live PA by Nadia (IIO – performing rapture) live PA by Rosko SIDE ROOM chris & kai (yoshitoshi, alternative route, nyc) david scuba (nyc) mark pappas & hito (tiger hook, bedrock, saw, 611, philadelphia) joe mama & eli wilkie (agent 001, plastic sex, reversible, opek, avalon-boston) granite & phunk (sr2, toolroom, big love, bedrock, dallas) serge devant (magnetik, lost luggage, nyc) louie corrales & alex kaufman (nyc) ROOF TOP boy bangkok (grass hut productions, nyc) john pride (nyc) andrew grant (circo loco, washington dc) danny “buddah†morales (nyc) paul harris of dirty vegas angel moraies (industry, montreal) desyn masiello (tentative) stepane luke & cue (amica, miami beach) More TBC
  13. Boris and Richie Santana - gonna be a banging party!!
  14. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best News I've heard in a long time - DJ VIBE - Creamer and K - Low End specialists!!!! One hell of a lineup
  15. I am under the impression these 2 clubs are conncted - can you pass from one to the other or are there usually 2 different covers?
  16. Has anyone heard what they have planned yet?? This is the only date they have nothing listed for
  17. BTW - what kind of house music do Louie Vega and Tony Humphries play? Typical NY music - progressive & tribal? Or is it pretty mellow stuff? Who is someone they are comparable too? Still looking for something to do earlier in the night - have never heard either of them live
  18. The DT party is on Tuesday night/wednesday morning at Warehouse (Envy)
  19. They will definitely be more - probably close to $100 around that time, Space is one of the few places that hosts afterhours w/ such big name DJ's and that will be the time everyone else who was at another club will probably go. I have a feeling this will be the craziest night of the week. I've seen them bump up prices to $80 or $100 - definitely buy presales and leave the lawler party a little early
  20. Definitely get whatever tickets you can if you are positive you are going to the party. Last year I paid $35 for the subliminal party @ Crobar online - at the door they were charging $60 and there was probably an hour wait to get in. We walked right up and were in w/in 5 minutes
  21. or are the parties taking alot longer to be announced this year? Nikki Beach? Mansion? Nocturnal? Opium Garden? I know there are some parties listed for these places - but most don't have anything confirmed for the begining part of the week yet.
  22. FUCK YES!!!!!!!!!! Not thrilled about space but an extended set for Morillo makes it 100% worth it 2 to 5 am inside - 7 until at least noon on the patio
  23. Morillo won't be a roller coaster ride b/c he is doing 2 seperate sets - 1 inside and one on the patio w/ at least an hour break in between, and his sets aren't really what I would call a rollercoaster (Maybe b/c I haven't heard him play longer than 5 hours straight) JP's 24 hours sets on the other hand - but you can expect that when someone is going for that long. You can't play full throtle for that amount of time w/out changing things up BIG TIME.
  24. Thanks - I didn't think Crobar would schedule all hip-hop DJ's. Keep the board posted when you hear some more info
  25. Exactly - its the perfect length - especially for the conference b/c you can stay for the whole party and then catch afterhours somewhere else (MORILLO on the patio!!!). As far as DJ sets go - quality is way better than quantity. I'd rather hear a 5 hour banging set than 10 hours of a rollercoaster ride w/ lots of filler music This party has been going on for a few years now w/ the same format and I haven't heard a complaint from anyone who went
