Lets make a serious list of stuff that needs to be changed. HTB - Has to be changed items WLB - Would like to be changed items 1) Make thinner headers. HTB The headers like "Threads in Forum" and "Announcement "New Message Board" are incredibly thick. All headers need to be made thinner. For example, it shouldnt take a mouse movement to reach each post in a thread that is only one sentence long and doesnt have a pic in a sig because the headers are so thick. 2) Get rid of 01-21-2004, 01:01 AM bar HTB That bar is so much empty space. Again this new look is about wasted empty space. Tighten, thin up the space. 3) Get rid of things that arent explained HTB like this thing What are all these dots for. 4) Get people titles after lower levels. WTB 1,000 threshold for posts was club god. Now it's nothing. You gotta give people encouragement to post.

It really is awful functionally. What is with all this BLUE headers that are so thick. I just need to see the poster's name - not this hugeeeee blue rectangle. Get rid of all this wasted space!!! Last Friday, LALate really had an exceptional time, so much so, we wanted to get a review. First we hit up El Centro which arguably the week before was lacking. But this week, the crowd was packed (not fully, but just right), having a lot of fun, dancing, and with an amazing ratio of girls to guys. The music probably was the best thing going for this venue which one person from the east coast said to us gets thumbs down for using $9 plywood for wall covering of its patio, causing the person to ask seriously "so, when are they are finishing this place". Back to the music - A+. Here's a toast to a dj who can spin hiphop without spinning the same cliche trackes that everyone else is spinning and rather defaulting for lighter, uptempto tracks, less Ludacris more R Kelly, while still keeping the tempo right for avid dancers. The music was the bomb. But just when you thought good couldnt get better, off to Orion we want for an 18 and over affair that we could conversatively say had the hottest girls under one roof we've seen in ages all dressed in techno/house attire, a refreshing departure from the stale hiphugger off the shoulder look of the Hollywood scene. If you think you've heard good techno, drum and bass, and progressive, than you have no idea because this was the best fun to our music ears we've had in 2004. The party lasted to 6 am, even the stunning asian import model that gave us a light show with her raver lights - could she have been a cheerleader by heart because we've never seen moves like her with her arms - was going strong all night. Suddenly, we found ourselves becoming one with a scene that is young, unique, stunningly gorgeous, overall exceptionally pleasant and enjoyable to talk to, so much so, that you will be seeing from TeenLate a series of all age massive outdoor events in the next few weeks that push minicovers of nominal $5 for two day affairs. Whether it's hard techno, or so hiphop, El Centro and Orion proved why they are top venues in LA with a Friday night fun that won't be missed soon by LALate.com

lol are you trying to ruin a perfect good thread about friday night talking about sunday night! I'm sicking the thread police on you lol. Alright - will post back the Friday review later today - because it was an exceptional exceptional night (shame you missed it , and shame the new ??late.com friend from ??? city missed it too). But since you brought up Sunday lol --- just when you thought Friday couldnt be topped - WOW! Yes the Standard was incredible!!! Nope Todd didnt make it. Maybe he saw us on the road lol ... here was the path .... Standard > HOB > RedRock > HOB > Standard > Vertigos > RedRock > Standard Only LALate could pull something like that off with no covers all night ... and not even a blanket <rim shot> lol You want details ??? --- pm! lol

... just have to say in a day or two why time permits will do a full write up about last night which really was one of the best clubgoing experiences in months here in LA spanning two entirely different scenes in one night at two very different venues here in LA ... it's rare when one night embodies so much fun from two different vibes that both worked so well.
