I would be happy to see DAVID MORALES every week somewhere. Just im not a fan of all the fancy stuff goin around. Gimme a room with a dj playing good house. Im an old school head i like ARC,SHELTER,FILTER 14 those are simple places with great djs. Thats all i need.

Crowd wise i agree. I mean there are a few who actually know whats goin on musically. Its a great space and Rick plays a great set. I dont know if im goin also that night.If only the owners would close off all the other floors and focus more on music it would be great instead of all the ktu crap. Luckily rick doesnt play commercial crap but of louies in the booth it will ruin my night.

It wasnt a pure "CLASSICS" party but there were classics from opening till about 2am maybe 230am then again around 10am to 12am. And i have to agree one of the best nights i ever had was memorial day me and my peoples still talk about it. Danny im sure will have a PURE ALL CLASSICS night eventually.

I was there from 1230 till closin. From the moment i got there until around when he played KINGS OF TOMORROW "FINALLY" (GREAT SONG) there was nothing but a shit load of classics that im sure people didnt know anything about. Ive been listening to HOUSE MUSIC for 14 yrs now and it was amazing to hear songs that i wasnt able to dance at clubs at the time of their relase. Perfect examples of this were "ROCKIN MUSIC" by BLUNTED DUMMIES, "TEARS" by SATOSHI TOMMIE, BONUS BEATS from "DANCE" by earth people if you have the actual VINYL then you know what i mean. Alot of 80s and 70 songs earlier on. Right b4 closin he even dropped a track from 74 and it was amazing. All in all i thought it was a great night of some LD CLASSICS with some NEW CLASSICS. But i cant wait for DANNY to play nothing but OLD CLASSICS one day. That will hopefully school all the mindless sheep that are on these boards. WoW GHHHHOST in the same room with me at the same time how interesting. And goin thru it is a terrible song in my opinion. It only appeals to "CERTAIN TYPES OF PEOPLE"

Well if you dont know by now i dont know what to tell ya. Go to SHELTER (DJ TIMMY REGISFORD) on SATnight SUN afternoon for a lesson on the simpilest form of HOUSE MUSIC. Then from my own experiences with djs that play all types of house music (certain onces do mix it up a bit though) and are great, in no particular order: FRANCIOS K, DANNY TENAGLIA, ERICK MORILLO, VICTOR CALDERONE, TED PATTERSON, FRANK REMPE, THE SHIGULATORS, RICK CORBO, SPOONY D, ROGER SANCHEZ, LIL LOUIE VEGA, KENNY DOPE GONZALEZ, TODD TERRY, MERRIT, TONY HUMPHRIES, DAVID MORALES, DISCIPLE, STEVE PYSCH, FRANKIE KNUCKLES, ANTRANIG, VIBE, DEEP DISH, PETER RAUHEFER JUNIOR VASQUEZ, SATOSHI TOMIIE,I cant remember his name now but the asian guy from EIGHTBALL RECORDS Katz i think hes also good. The list goes on all are fine djs with some being greater than others of course. But hearing all these djs live has never been a dissapointing night for me. They just dont play MINDLESS STUPID HARD BEATS WITH NO SOUL OR MEANING. Theres so many more djs out there that i havent heard live yet but are great. I guess t all depends on what flavor of house you prefer.

I CANT STAND WHEN PEOPLE DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOUSE AND TECHNO. And to be honest if they did get JP over there why should people bitch and complain about it. Fans of a dj shouldnt care were he/she is playing just go and support he/she. If your fan base is kinda the under 21 crowd then the bar will suffer.

I wasnt there on sat cause i was wasted from ARC on fri a real CLASSICS party. ANd ive been sick since like forever. I heard rick didnt dissapoint as usual. Hey as long as rick is there on sats i will be there. But i would love to hear him someplace different even more intimate like a FILTER 14 or CIELO. I also think its a bad move to keep the ballroom closed until 12 its like torture being in that club until midnight. Rick is ranked right now 106 on www.thedjlist.com so some people are taking notice. Good for him hes a nice guy. I think more people from here should check out sat nights more.

Well base on all my experiences at china club sat nights i stopped goin there. Basically the crowd are mindless sheeps who dont know whats going on. Dont get me wrong theres notghing wrong with people having a good time. Its just like websterhalls crowd but the difference is the music china club is commercial out the ass, while websterhall is a commercial club you wont hear any commercial on ricks floor thast for sure. And theres a crowd begginig to form there. Have a good time.

Websterhall first then maybe if theres energy left SHELTER if not then CIELO tomorrow FRANKIE KNUCKLES baby.

What a great night of music it was. A friend of mine SPOONY D opened up for tony and set the tone for the hwole night the crowd just cxame out of no where around 11ish or so nd were rockin to spoonys set hard. Even tony was just sitting on the lil steps in the booth hearing the beats. Then tony took over and showed why he is a legend and just rocked ut until about 530 or so. I took my friend who not into deep house and soulfulhouse but now she is she really loves the feelin and sound. I had a blast dancing with like everybody lol. Whats funny is that i had this girl almost crying to me about how jp is gone from factoryso now she wants to fnd a new spot. Pretty funny but you know what it hurts when something you love is taken from you. So i understand. Yo dx next time i hitting filter is gonna be in dec something i will let you know its gonna be SPONNY D and FRANK REMPE all night long.

I cant say anything about SHELDON or JASON cause ive never heard them spin b4 personally. But from what my friends tell me jason isnt that great and sheldon is good. Eddie baez is great ive heard him a couple of times. As for BORIS well i just cant seem to feel him to me he just plays hard hard hard mindless beats. No soul or feeling but thats my own thing. Im sure its gonna be a great night for those who go so enjoy. I'll be at ARC or at my house sleeping lol.

It looked liked it was gonna be a great night yesterday. Sucks for me cause i ve been sick since last monday. So I had to leave early i was running out of breath from so much coughing. HAPPY bday andrew mendez nice set. Everyone seem to be enjogin themselves. I didnt meet any new people lol just knew some people from here and there.
