Why not focus on LOCAL TALENT. Why do people always want the same names over and OVER again. I know there great djs but still cmon let NYC be run by NYC DJS.

If hes all of you guys fave djs why dont ya stay for the full 30 hrs. Im doin 28hrs of dancing myself at FILTER 14,SHELTER,BABYLONS LAST KISS,DEEP. From 9pm weds night until 1am friday morning. And like someone said about opinions eveybody has some, well im sure some will say top 3 party of the yr but then some will sayu worst party of the yr OH WELL RIGHT. Have fun guys enjoy. One of the members in my dancing click went and said it was terrible to ok. Nice looking club and ok music and weird people all around. Said it reminded him of websterhall. Which i thought was funny. But then again hes moved on from just fast beats lound sonds and songs from 2000.

Im always braggin about rick, danny t, francios k, tony humphries, timmy regisford, louie vega,disciple,merritt and all the other great parties goin around in NYC. So whats your point. I go out 4 to 5 times a week dude and if you would wake up and see how many great parties nyc has to offer maybe you would understand music a lil more. HOUSE isnt about HARDER ,FASTER its a SOUL THING. And this board is full of people with i dont even no how to describe whats missing.

I think clubplanet is a good website but its message board is terrible.

And i havent traveled the world to hear djs but heres my style: DANNY TENAGLIA, TONY HUMPHRIES, DAVID MORALES, MERRITT, RICK CORBO, ROGER SANCHEZ, ERICK MORILLO, FRANCIOS K, FRANKIE KNUCKLES, TIMMY REGISFORD, LOUIE VEGA, SATOSHI TOMIIE, JUNIOR VASQUEZ.Lets not forget all the great NYC talent thats out there in the underground so many great djs and parties that im happy i can party every night of the week,. Ive been listening to house for 14 yrs now and have so much vinyl at my house from my brothers dj days. That my ears like a distinct sound. Your right when you say i shouldnt say boring. So im pretty sure if we ever do meet it would be quite the discussion although im all about HOUSE MUSIC.

I agree he has a great following and goog for him. But its his style of playing that i think doesnt have any type of flow or style. Hey maybe my ears arent just feeling it but that doesnt mean 100s of people wont. Hey ive been lsitening to house music for 14 yrs now. So my style went from deep house to techno to trance to progressive and tribal todark. And now ive eleminated techno a bit and trance completely, and now deep house is back or my tastes, garage house,etc. Maybe it has to do with a developing ear or who knows. But hey all boris fans enjoy him and follow him thats all i can say. I was just stating an opinion. And im friends with the dj of websterhall sat nights rick corbo for a few now and boris use to play on sat nights when rick was someplace else. It was even on the marquee outside th club. Ive met boris one of those nights and he invited me to hear him at discotheque and i was like well lemme give him another shot. And ive been doin that since. I just cant get into his sets, like im sure other people cant get into other djs as well. Hes spun their at least 4 times in like 1999 till 2001 that i know of.

ASSETERIA is all about DJ MERRITT. BORING BORIS has no type of flavor or soul or style just hard mindless beats for the old factory crowd and or druggies who dont know what REAL HOUSE MUSIC IS. If you think this is the only party of its kind then you are lost. ASSETERIA was a wonderful party and still is a great party. But the overflow of A/X shirts anddragon ballz people and girls who dance like guys who all dance the same. Has really ruined a great party. 18yr olds runnnin around with sunglasses in the dark SHEESH. I bet you all of you next week wont even know the difference when DJ SCRIBBLE and JASON OJEDA are their next week. MERRITT is such and underated dj and has STYLE. Ive heard boris enough times at websterhall, discotheque, and cheetah and i respect him but i dont like his style. But im sure theirs a lot of people who do. So enjoy. But i only go to get "ASS" when MERRITT is spinning.

I know some of you have heard of the party that takes place every weds at LE SOUK called RE:FUGE. Whether some of you were able to get in or make it im sure you see the madness that takes place on wed nights. Its the best party happenig on weds nights according to paper magazine. And i havent missed a party in months. TRIBAL and JAZZY TRIBAL at its best. Anyhow thier gonna have a partyat centro fly on sat night the 20th. See some of ya their if not then maybe on a weds.

Well im partying it up this yr. The wonderful party RE:FUGE at LE SOUK from 10pm till 5am then aferwards after hrs at FILTER 14 until 10am then at 12pm babylons last kiss party until 7pm. NYC talent are wurkin the beats.

But why stop only with AVALON,SPIRIT,CROBAR give every club a shot once you find your "scene".

ive bumped into him so many times this summer all over the city. First at union square virgin megastore for deep dish he was rght next to me. Then 2 times again at discotheque for erick morillos return in summer. And when dimitry was there i believe. then like 4 times in the streets around times square, lower east side. Even got a pictue with him. This is when i wore alot of chain. Very nice guy mentioned he didnt have any plans to spin in 2003 in the city but in 2004 hes gonna have an album an spin a few times. Later that week i bumped into david morales, wut a city. HOUSE djs walking the streets.

i remember hearing the riddeler on a thurs at websterhall earlier in the yr. And then once b4 that, And both times he was terrible especially when he ropped "lets get ill" me and my peeps just sat down and waitied till he fell down lol but mike rizzo came on after him and was very good.

Only the people who bitch and complian are annoying. Music is alive and pumping in nyc. Drugs and maturity have alot to do with it also. Look what new york has MON@ CIELO FRANCIOS K, or SAPPHIRE LOUNGE w/ JOESKI,MELVIN MOORE, WEDS i dont wanna name certain places i go to cause dont want them having dragon ball z mornons around there. Ya have danny t at ARC on fri, JUNIOR on sat/sun, AVALON does have good lines up but with all the vip crap it makes it unpleasant for certain people. Then ya have TONY HUMPHRIES monthly at FILTER 14. Also theres so many parties in nyc just got to find them. NYC is theplace to be for house.
