March 13, 2004 -- NIGHTLIFE impresario Frank Cilione has taken a Miami club to court for trademark infringement. Cilione - owner of NV in Manhattan, Resort in East Hampton and Tsunami restaurant in West Palm Beach - learned of the infraction last year when he received a call from Ocean Drive magazine congratulating him on the opening of NV, "his new club in Miami." Although Cilione's lawyers sent a cease-and-desist letter to Club NV, it has continued to operate under that name for more than a year. Cilione recently filed suit to shut it down entirely http://www.nypost.com/gossip/17103.htm
