So has anyone heard about this JP party at the Roxy on Friday 11/25/05? Supposedly it is inspired by the movie Eyes Wide Shut and each guest will be given a Mask to wear for the party and have to say a secret word to get in but my questions is can you really dance all night with a Mask on your face? And if you want to hook up, don't u want to see if the person is ugly or not first? Will you have to get naked at a certain point in time as well like in the movie? I mean this sounds like it would be a fun theme party but i wouldn't want to go if i would have to wear a mask all night so does anybody know if it is just a theme party where the stage shows and the decorations will be that theme or if all the guests also have to wear mask all night. Thanks.

If you get a kitten, I would think about getting a female kitten or buy pet insurance (like 10 bucks a month)...male kittens can get a very common disorder where there urinary tract gets blocked and he cannot urinate..if you don't get him to a doctor within 12 hours, the cat will die...this happened to my cat last year (10 years old) and the surgery to re-open his urinary tract cost me $500.00 and then he got blocked up again a week later and the vet had to cut his penis off and that cost me another $500.00. I heard this is very common among male cats. But my cat is very sweet and loving so for me money was no object.

DT was amazing on Friday and the vibe was fun. I especially liked the fact that he did not play the trancey wind down music from 10 to closing. Instead the beats got harder and more energetic as the night turned to day...I really think that Spirit is the best venue for him because it is more intimate but I can't wait to see him at Crobar on the 25th.

If you go to Lawler, be prepared for the fact that he will probably start spinning around 2:00 a.m. and will probably stop playing by 6...that is what he did before at Spirit in June but his set was amazing...Sander is also amazing and i think he will play until 8 or 9 a.m, but unlike Lawler, Sander has a residency here so you can always catch him again sometime in November and December.
