Lawler was actually removed from SPACE because of his VIVA night. His closing party did 300 people...and they actually closed part of the club because their was nobody their...which is not so good. He also isnt allowed to throw his own night @ space because of incidents that happened between him and space management. He will be @ space 3 times this summer (opening, and two guest spots) He is the King of space terrace...and has been for 5 years now. Lawler has moved to pacha, and is playing his VIVA party their (pete tong, audiofly, erick morillo, and damian lazurus will be guests to play their) Sunday june 11th lawler better bring the filth...he did outplay dt TGE 2004..dt didnt really know what hit him. his VIVA album (3 disc comp) comes out the 19th of june so this is a promotional tour so to speak. Ill be their with bells on....lets get twisted!

Hex won a grammy...not easy to do...so he gets my respect. Jason is a quality dj and a quality person. About the hex toni braxton remark...sander remixed usher....jonathan peters remixed sisqos thong song...Lawler remixed Lenny Kravitz, so on and so forth...djs need money too man. shit would you turn down a gig to remix for columbia records or sony music...is anybody on this board that made where they can turn down a gig like that? As for the Morillo 93 album. Its a goodie. He really needs to start digging back into his S.R. days. start playin some more ultra nate, kings of tomorrow, lovechild,dance syndication, E-culture,Dj pierre, house 2 house tracks. start diggin in those crates man. his subliminal sessions 3 disc 3 is good cause he brings it a bit loungier, more disco funk to it. his new cds are trash...imo.

Indeed. Wish Victor would bring Abel, Tony Moran, or Eddie Elias to spin with him. That would really bring the divas to the dancefloor. Victors gay fan base have stuck with him when he wasnt the most popular dj as he is now. But who really cares. They are their to dance and listen to top notch tribal house music at its finest

the stage would of been their regardless (performances, shows). Djs like being on stage because they can get a better feel for the crowd. When a dj is up tucked away in the corner of the club...they have no idea how the vibe is downstairs simply because they can only see maybe 10-15 feet from the tunnel. Playing on stage IMO is the only way...and yes people that stare at the djs like its a concert are loosers...dance and have a good time...but from a djs POV many djs ive spoken to like being down on the stage

Larry was heavily consumed with heroine before Paradise Garage. Its even a known fact that Larry wasnt the best technical dj. However his programming and his ear and sense of what people wanted to hear and how they wanted to hear was something that probably nobody will experience again. Never went to the garage but Knuckles, Humphries, Morales, Tenaglia are all guys that have tried to keep up with his legend. I dont think Larry would like what he sees with the "scene" today, but we will never know. I think when it comes to garage house soulful house, he was the best dj. Cant really compare what Morillo, or a Digweed or a Carl Cox does with what he did, other than he played "dance" music and i use the term dance music lightly for people to listen to at a discoteka. But then we can compare Larry and Funkmaster Flex too since in essence they both were djs playing for a crowd to dance to.

Sean Miller DOES NOT suck. been to bora bora in Toronto and hes good, hes an opening dj, he is instructed to play opening music until the MAIN EVENT comes on around 1:30. and YES LAWLER usually does not spin more than 5 hours. but i hope that changes around and can go just a tad bit later, but he IS on tour and does have a about 20 gigs in the month of october all over North America. I CANT WAIT FOR THIS! DIRTY FREAK!!!
