  4. -- Sunday, December 3, 2006 -- Head Tunes and Marz Entertainment... JAY WEST Guesthouse ::: Flavour ::: Headtunes ::: Argentina opening set by: RYAN OBERMILLER (Red Door, Marz, Bump) Boston Attracted by the sounds that were coming from the West coast of USA, Jay West built a very own unique style, making himself heard and earning quickly an important place in the internacional scene. With solid productions that receive support and charting from a great variety of djs as Mark Farina, Hernán Cattaneo, Satoshie Tomiie, Iz & Diz, Jason Hodges, Inland Knights, Jay Tripwire, Tyler Stadius, Tony Hewitt , Jacob London, Grant Dell, Greg Vickers, and many others…, Jay West has become a very solicited name for the main labels in the business. He was part of Miami’s Winter Music Conference in the last two years, showing his new material along with artists like Desyn Masiello, Joshua Collins, Dj Heather, Jay Tripwire, Asad Rizvi, Dan Berkson, Amir Javasoul, Dr Kucho, etc… and already toured around USA with shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Phoenix, Boston, etc…, and Mexico. Europe, Asia and Australia are scheduled for 2006! Paul has already performed in many countries and cities always carrying his particular style and his excellent dancefloor experience in his funky bag. His sets are always funky, original and fun and have made thousands of people dance. He has been hosted in the most important radios and websites around the globe. He was also part of the Southamerican Music Conference (w/ Nick Warren, Dj Dan, Richie Hawtin, Green Velvet, Eddie Richards etc…) in Buenos Aires in december 2004 as a panelist directing production workshops and seminars, and performing as a dj in the most important parties in Southamerica (BUE Fest – Personal Fest). Mainstream artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Jay Tripwire or Grant Dell have called him the most promising producer in southamerica, and his presence in the most important labels with more than 15 releases, prove it. Jay also hosts his own radio show in FM101.9 Kosiuko Buenos Aires every Monday at 9PM (www.kskradio.net). As Jay West he has produced a great variety of tracks and remixes signed by the most representative labels in the industry (see discography). He’s been remixed by heavy weights of house like Greenskeepers, Patrick Turner, Morgan Page, Swirl People, Army Of One, Dj Freestyle, etc…. He has also worked remixing lots of artists and bands. He worked side to side collaborating with various producers always searching for originality and new sounds, teammates like Matt Shrewd (they both work as Pushin Boundaries), Diego Cid, Manuel Sahagún or CPM have made beats side to side with him. In 2006 he has decided to take one more step forward and launch his own label FLAVOR RECORDS, based in UK and along with his partner, Matt Shrewd the first releases are highly expected for this year. Counting with an outstanding roster of artists like Toka Project, Jason Hodges, Pushin Boundaries or Da Sunlounge this label will quickly become an underground favourite. 2006 will be Jay's year since he has a really fat release schedule and plans to do another USA and Europe tour, be there & don't miss it! www.jay-west.com DEC -------------------------------------- 12.03.06 JAY WEST (flavor, lowdown, guesthouse) Argentina RYAN OBERMILLER (red door, marz, bump) 12.10.06 TARI (trademarq, bananza, inuendo, .dotbleep) Boston ROLLAND ESS (marz, bump) 12.10.06 MIKE NOUVEAU (nikki brand, electronic soul, marz) Miami SERGIO SANTOS (marz, bump) JAN -------------------------------------- 01.07.07 SOUND SYSTER (ultrasound productions, phoenix lounge) Canada THE BALD & BEATIFUL (odori, dirty bird, utensil) Boston 01.14.07 MATT BANDY of DEEP HOUSE SOLDIER (limestone, nightshift, RANDY DESHAIES (marz, bump) 01.21.07 CRAIG MITCHELL (slanted black, cult, rise) Boston RYAN OBERMILLER (red door, marz, bump) more to come...

One of the criteria for national leadership should therefore be a talent for understanding, encouraging, and making constructive use of vigorous criticism. ~ Carl Sagan

  15. -- Sunday, November 5, 2006 -- JIMPSTER aka AUDIOMONTAGE (London) freerange records | buzzin fly | kudos opening set by: SERGIO SANTOS (Marz, Bump) Boston Jamie Odell aka Jimpster and Audiomontage has been producing, remixing and Djing for the last 15 years and co-running his Freerange Records label for the last 10 of those. His musical upbringing and open minded attitude to all types of music have meant his productions have found fans across the globe in the electronica/downtempo as well as house music scenes. Seminal Jimpster LP’s such as Messages From The Hub and Domestic Science really helped establish Jamie as an artist of some merit and he is now in regular demand as a remixer and co producer on a wide range of underground projects. Recently described by Ben Watt as a ‘future soul kingpin and bittersweet house don’, Jamie is regularly djing both in the UK and abroad. With an emphasis on top quality house music, but never afraid to stray from the path, he retains a freestyle approach that has seen him booked for gigs as diverse as Fabric, Plastic People, The Naked Music Beach Party at the WMC, Buzzin’ Fly at Neighbourhood and LA’s Bossanova. Othe recent gigs have included Vega in Copenhagen, Metro in Kyoto and Propaganda in Moscow where he has a bi-monthly residency. Jamie is also a member of highly acclaimed live outfit The Bays, who’s recent performances on John Peel sessions have confirmed them as one of the most important live acts around today. Their spontaneous and totally improvised gigs have been building up a buzz with recent headlining gigs including many of the worlds best festivals such as Glastonbury, The Big Chill, Womad, Lowlands and many others. www.freerangerecords.co.uk NOV -------------------------------------- 11.05.06 JIMPSTER (freerange records) UK SERGIO SANTOS (marz, bump) 11.12.06 BONS (bon johnson, inuendo records, detour) Boston RYAN OBERMILLER (red door, marz, bump) NH 11.19.06 OLIVIER DESMET (amenti music, aroma) San Francisco CHRIS GRANT (jackin tracks, dae) Chicago 11.26.06 RYAN KICK (lodge johnson, massive audio) Albany NY ROLLAND ESS (marz, bump) DEC -------------------------------------- 12.03.06 JAY WEST (flavor, lowdown, guesthouse) Argentina RYAN OBERMILLER (red door, marz, bump) 12.10.06 LITTLEMEN (mobile trax, drop, amenti) Boston ROLLAND ESS (marz, bump) more to come...
