joecrack13 Posted October 24 Report Share Posted October 24 lets be real here...Oakenfold and the guys on his level arent doing a weekly residence in NYC...Oakey is my favorite DJ dispite what people are saying about him now...he is the innovator..bottom line...his old stuff will bury most DJ's...the fact that these guys actually have families in the UK probably would be another reason why they wouldnt be residents here...monthly now thats a better idea...as for weekly i definitely think we have a good selection of DJ' s from NYC and I mean real DJ's, not tony draper or those clowns....Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Satoshi Tomiie, Danny Tenaglia (although he does Arc so hes out), The Low End Specialist who have a Thursday residence at Centro Fly wouldnt be bad either...those are the type of guys I would love to see weekly....monthly u can have the huge international names...just a thought...im sure theres alotta other names to add to the list...ideally my favorite DJ right now is Steve Lawler but theres no way to get his ass over here for a residency.
