Vegas definitely has the best club scene in the country.

I was in Vegas for the UFC fight this weekend. Was sitting next to Pam Anderson and Cindy Crawford. I was probably the only person who bet on Liddell and I won!

After resting for a while I went to Pure. The line was huge and wrapped around the casino. I don't understand how people could actually wait on that line until 4AM and piss the whole night away. Even being on the VIP list with a table we still hada wait 15 minutes to get in because of all of the people in the way.

I reserved a table in the hip hop room but somebody must have offered $5k or something for it so I settled for a table in the room where the Pussycat Dolls perform. They are hot as hell!

The best part of the club is the outdoor terrace. Only problem is Caesars has had some sewage problem the last few times I was in Vegas and it smells really bad out there. They need to do something about this ASAP.

I was chillin with Tito Ortiz for a little bit in the hip hop room, he is cool as hell.

After going to Drais Friday night for afterhours I decided to check out Forty Deuce. I definitely didn't have no where near as much fun there as at Drais but I was staying at Mandalay Bay and needed to wake up early for my flight.

On Friday I also went to Rhyno which is definitely the best strip club I have been to in Vegas. There must have been 70 girls in there all hotter than you will find at Scores.

Vegas now officially shits on Miami, New York, and LA. There are at least 10 clubs in Vegas I consider spectacular compared to only 2-3 in each of the other cities.

I can't wait for the Wynn to open. I will be staying there MDW. I hear there will be three phat clubs at the Wynn.

Dude, put down the crack pipe and step away from the table.

You have got to be kidding.Las Vegas Def. has some great night life, but to say it shits on Miami and New York tells us you NO NOTHING about night life.

I give mad props to guys like DJMasterweb,Bllie and Mr Vegas for trying to make it a better scene and trying to take care of people on here, but come on.Just because a club "LOOKS SPECTACULAR" dosent mean the vibe inside is any good.

Oh, and if hanging out with overrated loser's like Tito makes it cool, then ill take New York any day of the week. Tito is about to get dropped by the UFC because he's a cry baby who wants to much money. How great was it that they kept showing him getting his assed kicked by Lindell over and over. That was the best!! LOL

Vegas is pretty good, but Miami wins, definitely. Las Vegas has a long way to go to catch up to Miami.

I think a lot of this debate comes down to what your priorities are. For example, my priority is music. In that sense, Vegas isn't even the best on the west coast, LA is. Las Vegas does very well in the venue department, but almost all of them are playing the cheesiest, lowest common denominator radio music just about every night. Now, the clubs are obviously very successful with this formula, as many of them are packed to the rafters every week. That doesn't interest me in the least though, which is why I rarely go out to the clubs. The only club I go to on any kind of a regular basis is Ice, and only on Saturdays. I will check out Pure's Tuesday party once school is over with.

Now, if your priority is the scene that the clubs provide, getting the VIP treatment with bottle service, and picking up girls, then yes, Vegas is tough to top. We have some of the best venues in the nation; with the exception of Avalon, our venues put LA's to shame. There is no venue in Vegas that can compare to Space or Crobar Miami or Mansion, or for that matter Opium Garden, Nikki Beach or the forthcoming Nocturnal. Miami has the venues and the talent hitting the decks, so imo they take the cake. NY has the same formula, so you could put them on an even level. Las Vegas has a long way to go to catch up. Fortunately for us, we have people here with seemingly limitless pockets, and new venues are on the drawing boards all the time.

My thoughts...

Although Vegas has amazing NIGHTLIFE i wouldnt say they have the best CLUBSCENE in the country. I would say NYC and Miami have the best clubscene. Both get multiple international DJ's weekly. Vegas is new to this imo. Yea they have had oakie, cox and morillo at ice but thats only a once in a while thing. If you go to vegas on a random weekend there is a good chance that you will hear mediocre at best dance music in the big clubs, which is not the case for nyc and miami.

Im not raggin on vegas. Its my 2nd home and i love it.

ALso think NYC doesnt get its props enough. I mean how many quality venues are there in Vegas & Miami? My guess is somewhere from 20-40..? NYC has probably double if not triple that. Its just that there is so many places to go in new york that not all of them seem to be as good as the more concentrated venues elsewhere.

2 cents...

I don't think it is easy to compare a city like Las Vegas to NY or Miami. I've tried to do that in the past and all it does is create a disagreement that can't be resolved.

For example, Vegas doesn't even have a real professional sports team because there's no real pride here. Vegas is a transient town. I lived in Philly for 6 years and was a season tickets holder for the Sixers. I am still a die hard Sixers fan because that city deserves a winner - they show pride and dedication.

Vegas is more like an adult Disney Land. Vegas nightclubs are playing their part in this game. Masterful presentations, over-the-top in every way. But also common denominator appeal is more prevelant. That's why the music is more mainstream. Heck at OPM where I DJ, we still spin radio edits of much of our hip-hop, just to keep the out of town ladies more comfortable early in the night.

So, as far as catering to tourists from all around the country and even world, I would have to say Vegas definitely offers the best nightlife hands down. As far as local pride, breaking new music, and community based night life, I don't think Vegas comes close.

Las Vegas doesn't have a professional sports team for two main reasons:

1) We have legal sports betting.

2) Las Vegas is, in terms of TV markets, ranked somewhere in the 40s, or low 50s. We would be one of the smallest markets in any league, were we to get a team be it MLB, NBA, whatever. Las Vegas has to do some more growing, I think, before we get serious consideration from the pro sports leagues. Once LV crosses the 2 million person mark, which will happen before the end of the decade, then you will see us getting some serious consideration from pro sports leagues, I think.

I love Miami's nightlife. This past New Years and the WMC in Miami were my best two weekends ever.

But in Vegas I have VIP hosts that take care of everything we need... tables, limos, security, and w/e else... and in Vegas there are at least 10 clubs I have fun at on a regular basis... Pure, Ice, Drais, Tangerine, Mix, Rain, Ghostbar, Light, Body English, and OPM.

I can't wait until I get the Real World Suite for my birthday party in a couple months. Haven't decided which DJ I'm getting yet.

Now that is something to brag about

Forget the fact that you and your buddy banged some girl in front of everybody on a balcony in Miami, or that your buddies w/ Mark Cuban, or that you sat next to Pam Anderson, or that you spend thousands of $ on clubbing and have more hookups than anybody in the world.

Take a hike pall - you and your posts are a joke - every city you post in you get ripped to shreds and you come off as a total Jersey cheese ball. Nice try though

You know ...... seriously ....

I read about 3 posts on this thread and then stopped. You know why? I hate these generalizations where someone says "oh, la is better than vegas and vegas is better than spokane and spokane is better than yonkers."

You know what's wrong with this whole line of generalizations? Is that they are GENERALIZATIONS.

Unless you talk about specifics (best caliber of djs, best venue design, best size/scale of a venue), you are saying something is better than something else based upon your preference, which may not be someone else's preference.

For example, you could tell me that the Mercedes CLS is the best car ever. The response is - for what? Styling? Comfort?

People go out for different reasons. Some go out to get laid (with anything that walks), some go out to meet only drop dead goregous girls, some go out to just dance for 4 hours and have fun, some go out to hear a specific dj.

You cant just say one city is better than another. You have to address individual factors.

For example, LA because of real estate prices (much like ny) cant have a 40,000 square foot venue just anywhere. lol.

So if you're best city is the one where they can bring in the belly dancers on Winnebagos during Tiesto's 2nd half hour as he is flying through the sky in a venue that pours alcohol 24/7 on the beach, Im sure that city exists, but havent found it yet lol

That sounds sweet. Let's go...

Kind of sounds like burning man fest.
