What else is going on in vegas for nye?

Simple math: Supply vs. Demand.

Let's see... 200,000 or more extra people in town ALL looking to party like rock stars New Years Eve. 10 hot clubs with capacities under 2000 in most cases. That leaves 180,000+ people bidding for entry. I know OPM will be selling $150 tickets for the same product that we're giving tonight at $20. It's all about the economics my friends.

Pure is 200 just to get in (ridiculous)...

The parties are being listed, and like most have said prices range from 100-200.

The second rate clubs (which are probably third tier now) may charge 75.00...

i have a big group coming but not everyone can afford those prices. I'd like to get table service too (for the few that can pay). Picking a place with affordability is going to be tough.

Last year wasn't so bad, we partied hard the night before, and then just did the street thing on NYE, but I was itching to go out later...

If you want bottles, you should reserve soon to be sure that you will actually be able to get a table. Also, most, if not all of the VIP hosts that work in the nightclubs will probably give a good amount of their tables to the highest bidder if you know what I mean. Good luck with your plans.

Most club hosts will make you pay through the nose for a table on NYE. And the independant hosts have NO PULL that night, no matter what they will tell you. You need to buy a ticket to get in the club, straight up, no exceptions. And if you want a table, the independant host can do nothing for you. Call the casino ahead of time and get in touch with a casino host.

Tables are looking at least $500 min for the host, ticket price, plus the bottle mins. Certain clubs are doing complimentary champagne. Body English is doing a comp bottle of Dom per table for their midnight toast. Oh and I'm an independent and I can book NYE tables. But it's pretty much the same process. Most clubs are requiring credit authorizations. Pure Group did it last year for their venues as did Body English/ I assume it will be the same this year. Anybody that wants one should be prepaired to fill one out. Casino hosts may have a little pull, but they don't have that much pull on a regular night, not sure how much they'd have on NYE.

Rio has $600 listed, and I think Ra is at $700 for Table Service. That's not too bad for four-six people.

$100 for just admission

$150 for admission & a bottle...

(or do I have that wrong?)

I would never admit going to Ra for NYE lol ...even if it was free. lol

Weds Jerome Thomas resigned as GM of RA. It marks the chsnge of a place that was one of the first nightclubs in vegas and up until memorial day, it was still one of best and busiest places in Vegas. Since then every piece of what made RA special has systematically removed. From the superstar dj's and pleasuredome and Warren Peace and Mr. B.O.B. Rumor is that Pure group will take over RA, so for me to say that RA is at its demise my be premature but i dont RA will never be the same.

Ra was finished for good when Warren and BOB left. They brought the real hiphop energy to Vegas on a regular basis.

lol, i know i know... but you could say that about 90% of the clubs in vegas...lol.

Since New years gets ridiculous and i have a large group of "varying income" i need to find a fine line between maximizing the group that can make it, and a "decent" place.

Personally I don't mind getting a skybox at rain, but some of my other friends probably won't fork over a $200.00 cover just to get in.
