Also, pretty much every place has good nights and bad nights, so you might work a good place on a bad night or with several other barbacks. The usual take is 15% from each bar (but almost never more than ANY bartender makes other than service bar)The point is- learn to bartend. But actually, I have been think about barbacking, makeing some extra cash, and at least your always around people etc even though bartending would be better, but just really looking for part-time work.
