Gotta make things interesting right?There's been mad confusion about how to make one's name glow, so here's my faq on how to do it and do it well! IMHO Just go the "profile" link up near the top of the page (right under the "post new topic" image). There should now be two new fields, one for Name Font Color and one for Name Glow Color. You can just type in basic color, or use hex #s. Check out the link below for more colors and their hex #'s (thx, tripinchick! I've been looking for something like this!) http://www.visibone.com/colorlab/big.html First, look at the web address and make sure that you are at http://www.visibone.com/colorlab/big.html NOT http://bbs.clubplanet.com/cgi-bin/redir.cgi?url=http://www.visibone.com/colorlab/big.html The latter url won't work properly because of clubplanet's scripting...OK, now click on the color you want, and some info will pop up. Click on, say, bright red, and you'll see some info with something like "FF0000" Ok, that's the hex#. Just enter that hex # into the color field of your choice on the edit clubplanet profile page, and you're good to go! Remember not to use parentheses.Also, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, try to choose a text color that's LIGHTER than the glow color. Otherwise, you're name'll probably be hard to read. Also, making both colors the same is a bad idea because your name will be too bulky to recognize.By the way, if you see a name that you can't read, try selecting the text of the name with your mouse (or hitting CTRL-A on a PC)and change color, allowing you to read it.Finally, remember that color changes are retroactive, meaning that your name will always come up with the new colors, even in old posts, until you decide to change the colors again. So trying to post multiple messages with different colors won't work!So come on people, let's some creativity here!As if I should be the one to talk! Anyway, Good luck!!
