i'm no expert, but maybe you can't access it right now because so many other people had pulled it up at the same time...maybe try one more time! it's worth it.. you can see the whole world lit up at night!

It's the same view you get looking out an airplane's window when flying cross country. Always amazes me no matter the number of times one looks at it.

I don't think so. You couldn't fly high enough in a plane (at least a commercial plane) to get that view.

Not the 'exact' same view, but similar where you can only the lights of the highways and cities, and total darkness elsewhere. I was speaking from a MACRO perspective.

Even though it might look pretty, its actucally not. What your looking at is light pollution. By those lights burning so brightly, they are using way to much energy. If only their was a free, unlimited amount of energy in the world, mabey it would be OK, but their is not.

It does look pretty cool though
