Guest jackdiesel Posted July 27 Report Share Posted July 27 yes. yes. and yes. no, its not a group. i like it all, but when it comes to the term "alternative" it's now a label and no longer an alternative "other than radiohead, who i like, but is still kind of a sell out (not musically, but commercially) from the insie rock seen...i still would rather listen to a good zepplin set anyday though.that's my 2 cents anyway. jprutig Posted July 27 Report Share Posted July 27 pearl jam's ten came out about ten years ago, and spin magazine has a good article about the band and where it has been since then. comments from all the band members, managers and other including dave grohl (foo fighters/nirvana) bono, chris cornell (soundgarden) pete townshend (the who) cameron crowe (director) and a bunch of other industry notablesif you dig pj, i highly recommend checking it out.
