I think it was 1995. I had an awesome time, i was with about 6 of my best girlfriends... we didnt get home till about 10 am the next day. since then, ive been clubbing religiously. One of the few teen clubs I have ever seen where it was run like a 21+ club with underground music, and rooms for everyone! wackydream Posted August 10 Report Share Posted August 10 bora bora (now "level", i think) in astoria, queens. i was a month shy of my 18th and paranoid about not getting in, but it was all good. my friends lied to me to get me there, i wasnt much for dancing those days. they told me we were gonna go to stand up new york, so i was dressed "appropriately", i had a freaking sweater on!(and a shirt underneath, which is what i ended up dancing in). then there was a "quick change of plans" on the way to the city, and a "detour" to queens, i was so pissed at them. took them like a half an hour of begging and a few shots to get me out on the dance floor...well, and a little motivation from one of the guys who came along with us =) and to end the night on a high note, my wallet was stolen, so i was very wary of going dancing for a while afterwards Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Terrible evening though, got pricked in the hand by a bitch's needle. Thats the last time I found myself wandering aronud a real hip-hop club, never again never again. It was my host brother's goal in life to get the American as fucked up as possible, so him and his friends would take me out clubbing around 3-4 days every week. It was one of the biggest eye-openers of my life being able to go to a club and order alcoholic drinks when I still didn't even have my drivers license yet. It wast the first time I'd heard techno music, the first time I'd gotten drunk, and the first time I'd done some other things (ie. the Spanish girls were digging the American boy). Snuck out of the house with friends and took one of their boats cruisin over Barneget Bay and docked it on the bayside of Seaside. Then we walked our asses like 2 miles to Temptations (Teen Night). Lets see, the girls were skanky, some of the guys were way too old to be in teen night, the music sucked, but regardless, I had fun!After wards we walked back to the boat, to find it lodged onto the beach...we had forgotten about the tide changing...so we spent about 45 min trying to get the boat back in water...hehe...man I miss stupid shit like that.
