What a great experience that was...It was three years ago in my college dorm room on my birthday..It was huge pill, called a blackfly, never rolled like that again...I was running around campus like a madwoman in the pouring rain and loved every minute of it

i actually agree with you....

not that i want these people to die..

but everyone who replied to the question is quite pathetic.

To paraphrase a question someone raised the other day:

Who is more pathetic?

The people who answered this question, or the person who takes the time out of his life simply to tell someone else how pathetic they are???

I vote the latter.

The first pill I took was not really E. I think it was crystal or something because I danced for about 8 hours straight without getting tired.

The following weekend I did my first real roll. I don't know what it was called, but it was about three times the size of today's pills, and there were lots of brown spots in it. I took half and may as well have been on the moon for all I knew. This was in 95, I was still in school, so I dropped at this club in New Orleans called Oz. Those queens at the club never knew what hit them, all they saw was some little girl flying around the club like the Tasmanian Devil!!!

you call this intelligence..i call this pathetic.

twisting my words is a great defense..but im not trying to fight anyone here..your causing more harm then good.

how do you take soemthing and not know what it is? this is why the nightlife is dying

been clubbing/raving since 94, but only sober.

3 summers ago, just broke up with my girlfriend, living my new apartment for 1 month but didn't unpack or own any furniture, a month behind on projects for the class i was taking. I was on the phone with my mom, saying "my life is a mess i can't get organized i don't know what to do or where to start". She says "Sometimes you just have to say no to things - when your friends say 'lets go to the club' sometimes you have to say 'no i'm going to clean my room'." To which I reply "Yes mom that's great advice i'm going to go work on my project now."

No sooner then 10 minutes after i get started, my friend Lisa shows up with her sister, both are dressed to kill with glitter all over their hair. They say "we're going to go to webster hall, can you get us some e?" I remember looking up at the ceiling and saying "i'm sorry mom....."

we took pillz called viagra (even shaped like a little viagra too) totally off the hook. suffice it to say i don't like WH, but that night i was in heaven. when they closed @ 4, we still wanted to party so we went to tunnel, took another viagra and stuck around there till they kicked us out also. Needless to say i was a happy little rob. I remember talking to everyone, giving people hand massages and just going up to random strangers saying "I think you're beautiful".

Shit. Now I want to go out.

Umm hello jerkoff, I'm not a chemist and GUESS WHAT they didn't have testing kits out in 95. Not for the general public at least. Not to mention I was only 19 at the time and didn't know much about it anyway. And did I say my first post was "intelligence?" I never said I was making some kind of deep statement on the meaning of life, I was simply relating my experience.

And nightlife is not "dying" as you say. Everything moves in cycles. We just happen to be at a low point right now.

lets give the political powers that are sucking the life out of nyc nightlife some more ammunition..

what shall we talk about now..hmm...what was the name of the first girl you molested at a club.

come on people..you all should know better....keep it underground...keep it between friends.

KEEP IT IN THE CLUB

How's this for a positive thread... first equating taking drugs OF YOUR OWN FREE WILL to forcing yourself on someone...

Then ignoring the fact that we're all talking about what happened in THE PAST... and incidentally my pathetic post was about something I did 6 1/2 years ago, 1500 miles away from NYC... and you're saying we should *now* KEEP IT IN THE CLUB???

How's that for intelligence???

dont know why your ripping on me...i just voiced an opnion.

a cycle is one thing...but when venues close down because of legal issues...they stay closed. running around talking irresponsibly about drug use is not a positive influence to those that are new to the scene. all i am saying is have some pride for the culture..protect it as oppose to destroying it with threads like this.

Saying someone is pathetic is not an opinion, it's a verbal attack. Expect claws to be bared.

Clubs are always being shut down for one legal loophole or another. My boyfriend told me to get a grip when I was upset over Twilo closing, because he's seen something like five different clubs in the same space already. Clubs close, they reopen under new names and different management. This is nothing new, it's just the first time many of us are experiencing it for ourselves.
