Death by brick...

It was a sad day in Astoria today... as Mickey, the resident mouse of our apartment (Mugz and I) was executed this evening by cinder block...

The unfortunate incident began when the rodent crossed a landmine of stickyness and was apparently ... stuck... and could no longer move. At that point, the executioner Mugz proceeded to bring Mickey outside and give it mercy, thereby ending its life with one crushing blow.

I honestly HATE the sticky traps..

I'd rather have a sharp blow to the neck

(with the traditional mouse trap)

do the poor thing in..

It was very sad to end this poor thing's life..

but in all honesty it was leaving turds in the kitchen

which can cause disease..

I (we) are far from dirty people in this apt..

(looks over at stacked plates in sink with moldy pasta)

so it's hard for me to understand why this furry guy was

chillin at the Mugwumpian/Groove pad!

may it rest in peace..

How about this when you have a mouse next time: put some cheese in a box and turn it on its side, then when the mouse goes to get the cheese and moves the box, it'll close. Well, I guess there are some mechanical things that need to be thought out as well...lol.....there's gotta be better ways to catch mice.

in his MOUSE TRAP..

A mouse takes the cheese..

which triggers the string to yank

an iron off the fridge that

falls on a spring that triggers off

a bird water feeder

that titters back and forth

hitting a switch on the stove

that heats up a rope

that goes in flames and

release smoke

that causes the smoke detector to go off

(Alerting Mugz of his catcch)

while at the same time

letting a cage fall on the mouse.

AH HAAA!

Or we could just hire Kittie!

Heyyyy...you can get some good ideas from those cartoons! (although I haven't watched TV in a long time...) I've actually caught mice this way, back when I lived in a house where we had an old barn in the back. It was pretty cool. Probably was good for a while, until we gave the mice to our cat.

Weight of bowling ball catapults diver (M) through the air and right into wash tub (N), causing cage (O) to fall from top of post (P) and trap unsuspecting mouse.

ive had a mickey or 2 i nm y day, and it sucks. the glue traps are the way to go, the trick is to make a strip of them blocking off the kitchen. then when they are caught, i just lift the trap and throw it out. ewww, yuck

UMMMMM, I realize its a little late NOW, but there is such a thing as a humane mousetrap.

Its a little green box with a trick door and you put some food in it and when the mouse goes in, the door shuts behind it.

Then you can take him outside and let him go in the park or something.

Thats what I did when I had a mouse in my house.

I came home from hanging out one nite and theres was some guy trying to get away with my stereo caught on the sticky trap. Dude was like "Yo...can you gimme a hand over here?" Next time I'll try Mugz's cinder block method and put that mofo out of his misery. I get everything but mice caught up in that shit. Friggin tokens, socks, loose change. my dog.
