Fri was soooo much fun....all the partying of the last few months really caught up to me when i got home and now im very sick....horrible flu but it was alll worth it! track after track vic did so well, my crew and I were dancing lunatics....our party in the booth with vic was also over the top, and what a scandalous bathroom in there! Victor your girlfriend is so beautiful...and so cool...i enjoyed hanging out with her== Nice to meet Carlos, Andrea and Dre from Club Space in Miami-- we will definitely see you both at the conference, it was great dancing with you both 8)...nice to speak some spanish as well... From the last few months my body aches from dancing so much, I think i might resolve to take a week or two off, and go skiing or retreat somewhere outside of manhattan for some alternative fun...maybe get into some Pilates and Yoga to complement the cardio i do at the gym=-= 8)

First of all, I love Sala. terrific tapas and a hot lil lounge downstairs. yeah, im a dude. yes i groove. im not an animal, and since i wrote this post awhile back i kinda got over the whole thing... I had a bad experience with a Latin, that's all. A lil' intimidating those gente can be on the dancefloor At some point at Sasha on NYE I suddenly found my groove...man what a great feeling that was...Ive had it since, and have been sporting it on several dancefloors since...and in several hours will do the same! Like you said, it isnt complicated, it isnt amazing, it is just my groove and it feels great to be in tune with it- I must say that im going to thumb my belt a bit tonight. usually I stroke the brim of my hat if i have one on...which i ll prob have on tonight, so maybe ill thumb my belt and stroke my hat...hehe

but i doubt I'll lay low, so if im in the area i promise to stop by!

I thought Cooljunkie won this last year??? ??? im confused, what did CJ win last year for best website?

you jerk! haha dont listen to him about Twist. this is a wretched gay bar/club. there isnt a ton of hip hop in miami...you should pit stop in NYC if you want to go to some incredible hip-hop/r n b venues.

hmmm. Â They are both very distinct. Â Avalon is smaller and more intimate...and the VIP room at avalon is better in my opinion...smaller and a lot less crowded than the one at crobar... Crobar is a huge mecca...I mean, really, it is sickening! Â I think Avalon is more of a place to go see headlining DJs right now, and Crobar is a place to go and just be an animal. Â The crowd that goes to Crobar is consistently a bit better, although both have their share of tourists. Â Both have great employees who are really cool and considerate to patrons, which is really great...bouncers and staff are very well dressed, polite, and there to serve you rather than be rude... It's not really a matter of choosing which is better, just which has a better party going on on a given night. Â

John you can see a few photos of crobar on the CJ ny site===Dimaggio did a review and crobar gave us some photos inside---check it out--and those photos only show the main dance floor, that is about half the club.

Im making some stock footage tapes here so we can pull shots more fluidly when we need them....I just finished making a Miami Scenics tape...all beautiful B-Roll of scenes in Miami....my god people I nearly melted when I was compiling this....you are so fortunate to live in south florida, especially right now! It is 4 degrees here in nyc....everyone is honking, screaming, trying to get indoors before our ears and noses fall off ... coupled with the wind this is horrible! I cant wait to get back down to the turqois water and sandy beaches.... Take a moment. Appreciate. Respect what you have. 8)

totally, john. shit is truly bangin up here these days! Ive become quite the party monster. Let us know if you come up and we can take you for some nites out on the town. you'd love the crobar here too....it's truly one of a kind...i love it!

who are the members of the soul sauce fam? My fam is coming down as well, from the 3rd to the 10th--some of us are coming in and leaving a day earler than others...I think we are about 10 deep ourselves... where are you guys staying? give some more details--=-who are you eager to see, etc, etc

I dont know about clubplanet in miami, but the CP in new york is chock full of the biggest idiots and losers----as far as the eye can see (thru New Jersey and Long Island) all meatheads who tear their shirts off at clubs and gawk at girls and pinch their asses when they arent looking. they are the epitome of bridge and tunnel trash that, unfortunately, are permitted to come into manhattan to enjoy the nightlife.

first of all, i agree, douche bag is the greatest term...it is an integral part of my daily vocabulary. Alot of respect should go to the CJ forums...there are really a lot of cool people on here....down to earth and mature. Most bickerings and rants are in good fun and are taken that way. Clubplanet, Tranceaddict, tiesto.com, to name a few, are filled with so many, well, douche bags--- I usually use other forums more for a reference than an interactive arena.

That Tiesto Forum blows. Back in 2000 there used to be a little purple website with a forum, and there were around 50 of us on it---it was great....many of us met up and have been friends ever since--it was all cool people for the most part---crazy, right? A few international people from that old forum I am very close with....as are our friends.....we visit eachother and shit, and go to the conference together. my point is that since the flowerpot blew up, there are now over 20,000 douche bag children from around the world on that forum and i never ever bother visiting it anymore...

I posted that email in the WMC section---there were a bunch of other cynical random things in that, i wouldnt bet money on all that jazz...it also said nikki's cant play music anymore above "easy listening level"---go look at the entire thing posted in the WMC section
