The music wasnt THAT bad....it was fun. I thought it was poppy at times but all in all it was a good time...iut was kind of universal. It was a DJ from montreal, I forget his name--- In my opinion, as long as I have amazing friends with me when I go out, they can play country western and I'll still be on stage shakin my ass. A situation is what you make of it sometimes.

NO VIP for me that night...I was with a group of friends (several people as well I hadnt seen in a very long time...) and we were busy on the dance floor and by the bar. There are many details to the evening that are too XXX for this forum, sadly, but this night at Crobar definitely goes in the top 10---I had so much fun and met alot of cool people, and some crazy shit went down---every weekend in this city is like vacation....its the best. I have so much fun it really is outrageous...

Charles next time i see you ill fill you in on the X-rated details that I cannot explicate on here... shiiiiiiiiit it is dirty indeed! jeje

This place is utterly amazing. I am so impressed im nearly speechless...I went for the first time last night, and was really taken aback at the place....completely state of the art----amazing amazing amazing! id say it's at least 3 times the size of the crobar in miami ... I had a really debaucherous evening, full of evil evil adventures with some really fun people....old friends and new. this place is crazy, deranged, and anything goes...anything. extremely mixed crowd too makes for an ecclectic mix of nyc's finest. I definitely plan to frequent the place --- and finally nyc has an ice machine like miami and ibizaaaa! when I heard it set off last night i almost lost my mind...ive been wanting this in ny for so long... the entire staff is more than welcoming, cordial, and cool. bartenders are HOT and they throw napkins just like in miami and dance their asses off. I'ts better than avalon for sure. ever since the fall began this city has been getting better and better and better----i love it.

nah...I finally made it to Crobar last night....what an insane evening, and what an amazing venue! one of the most debaucherous nights in a lonnnnng time. I'll provide a separate thread later on the venue when I recover a bit more. not feelin too articulate just yet.

I was thinking this while dancing at marco V. I mean, when im not fist pumping : , there MUST be something else to do 8) usually when I have a moment where I dont know what to do with my hands, honestly I hold the rim of my hat or occassionally bite my fingers-- but your advice falls short of examples---would you elaborate? I find that usually I pump my arms like pushing a lawnmower...throw in a little clapping, of course the standard side steps, tell me what you do. I really want to be able to break it down...Joey like you were showing me briefly the other night --- I want to "need my own space" at moments. It feels like fireworks going off in your body when you can move to the music as so.

I considered making a fake username to post this topic...but I love you all and I dont care if you think im a tool for asking this. SO sometimes when im out dancing, I feel nervous, like I feel the beat but cant always get my body to fully be in sync with the music. Â I mean, sometimes, Lisa lest we not forget Spin in miami 2 yrs ago....sometimes i feel like i dance weird. Â Two people said that to me in my life, and it deeply affected me. Â You cannot BE a rockstar without being able to dance like one. Â SO I'm wondering, there must be classes here in the city that offer classes for clubbing aficionados who want to improve their step? Â Has anyone ever heard of this? please dont make fun, this is a tender subject, 4 real

hosted a large party last evening----and we ended up at a german bar in the east village to start around 1am, and went to arc around 2:30. These were people in from out of nyc, so some of them were amazed that we were leaving my apartment to go out when they would normally be hearing the bells of "last call" at home. Marco V spun very, very hard trance the entire night. I had a good time, but not amazing. Some of his songs were very cheezy and sometimes I felt like it was music from the old Atari "pac man" game. He got a lot better around 4am...from 4-5:30 he spun several trax that I enjoyed, including a couple trax from Nyana and several trax that I dont know the id'd from but are on tiesto's set from Miami on the 4th of July. He spun a terrible remix of born slippy --- that record should be shattered over his head. The staff at arc was actually very pleasant this time. the crowd was honestly 2/3rds asian...I havent seen such a predominantly asian crowd since Exit a few years ago. The rest of the crowd was very mixed as well...not as mixed as a danny show, ---Id say it was predominantly asian, little bit of B & T, few tourists, a handful of good looking gay's, some hot chix, etc etc. I love mixed crowds, and this made the evening a bit more interesting. Too much hard trance can be very exhausting---not having abreak to chill...I found that sometimes Id be dancing and then just stop...it was kind of a tease. but he looks good spinning---he was wearing a puma pull-up, i think, and I like his shaven head- he wasnt overly animated while spinning, but had a moment here and there where he would play with the crowd. There is a new coatcheck guy too, thank god! The coat Nazi is finally gone from that place...
