his recent set in nyc was amazing----at the limelight nonetheless i had a bllllast. Â He played out of the blue, Walhalla, Punk, and so mmuch more. Â and that ave maria song...i dont know the ID , it is a remix of a religious song and the vocals are a church chorus singing in Latin, but the version ferry spun (and tiesto too , it is at the end of tiesto's breda set) did not have vocals, just the beat----- imagine hearing a holy , religious song in the limelight----everytime I heard this track before that night i always said, if I were a DJ, Id totally spin this at the limelight----so fitting... but whoaaaa to hear it booming out of that amazing sound system... I think he actually ended his set with this...also what I always dreamed to do....(When I go to the gym, I run for 45 mins ont he treadmill and i have music blasting in my ears...the entire time, i mean the entire time I pretend im the DJ....sometimes im amazed at the sequences im able to imagine---the run goes by so much faster like this. Â Occassionally I pretend im dancing in the crowd, but most of the time im imagining im the DJ, god I wish i had the time to learn --- and do it for real...) does anyone else do this or am i a freak? :-/ im cool, i promise 8)

I am a rockstar, in a catch me if you can , kind of way. tim- back me up Tim is one of my best friends, by the way---I should introduce him...im glad he posts on this forum now too.  Tim please participate often!  He is a brilliant, very successful young man in Investment Banking---and he is super-cool as well, a rare find in his field.  You'll meet him at the conference....although you might not since he is missing, like an idiot, the cooljunkie party since his flight is getting in late that nite.  him and his girlfriend are the best couple on Earth, and they will someday marry.  I'll kill them if they dont, or I will kill myself. Tim is from Canada.  I have never met a smart, successful and cool canadian...which makes him all the more interesting.  He looks like Teddy Ruxpin.  a handsome Teddy Ruxpin. He loves to dance all night, and is my partner in crime.  I often refer to him as Tim, Timmy, Timothy or Timo.  Whatever tickles my fancy at the moment.

this is the queer eye for the straight guy first annual party---i received an invitation but i most likely will be declining. Does anyone have any info on these two for the conference? It seems like there is info on the big DJs, im wondering for these two...Do you think Spi Club will hold events? it is my favorite place to see DJs at the conference.

i bet if we switched bodies for a day you'd be truly amazed at the things I see on a daily basis.... Last week, they explained (with "props") to me why breasts are so sensitive...that was an interesting experiment---I learned a lot! this is not a joke. you can ask jessica, she has some funny stories! she always tells people,...."If you only knew the life that Evan has in our apartment....."

it is a very trendy spot...cool, doorpeople are assholes, last time i went there there was a big line to get in and my friend rebecca tried to put her cig out in the bouncers face, he was so rude to her. she is nuts. i was the only person laughing.

actually saleen is extremely on point there... DT is just another DJ here, but it is spirit, not sprite NYC has gone through an incredible renaissance this fall, and it isnt over yet. Clubbing in general has been given a huge shot of adrenaline--- spirit crobar and avalon....they've brought so much flavor and life into our city again----especially avalon....every single weekend is an adventure, and the week is too if you want it to be, but ive managed to cut that out of my life---my occupational responsibilities dont permit it..... in the past month or so, Ive seen Sandra Collins, Ferry Corsten, Steve Lawler, Nick Warren, Paul Van Dyk, John Creamer, Dave Seaman, BT, and im sure im forgetting a couple others. I love it, I cant get enough, and they are all throwing down incredible sets (except creamer, his was garbageee)....finally, new york is again living up to its reputation----as a mecca of nightlife and debauchery and all the in betweens....im elated---there is a revitalized electricity present that I havent felt since I moved into the city two years ago--- but the weather has had the opposite effect. It has consistently been the worst in years. its absolutely horrible...whatever, it is worth it, besides, new yorkers have south florida as our home away from home.... thoughts?

true, I enjoy I feel loved....I always have liked that song, its a classic in and of itself-=== i mean, who cant like it==== and as for the whole getting good at noon thing.....I just cant get into that scene....in miami it can be fun to chill on the terrace, drink some coronas and dance gently til noon....but here in new york city after hour events like that is a CRACK PALACE....and i hate it...people are just too fecked up and it grosses me out...in my eyes it overshadows the music...

Charles do you ever spin at venues here ? If so, Id love to come by, and i'll bring some girls for you. I have HOT girlfriends, and the majority of them are smart AND cool, a far cry from the chickenheads you've been complainin about.
