  1. I think the only thing i would have loved hearing as well that night was enjoy the silence and out of body experience.. .those two trax were some of my first favorites and still get me going...I cant imagine hearing them live now....it would be like when pvd spun binary finary in ibiza this summer.... have you found out yet whether it was recorded?
  2. Lisa so good to see you finally joined in here! it's good to see you! please post your opinion often we have really been getting the nyc chat going---- anyway, I'm not as self concious about the dancing as b4---something at sasha made me realize it doesnt matter, as long as I dont dance like the shirtles meatheads in circles i feel fine. And you, sister, dance very well, i love it, it is unique, and one of my favorites. Nothing beats when you punch or hold the limp wrists high...(ironic that you are the one with the limp wrists! ) lest we not forget when tim's hands go like freddy kruegger sharpening his knife-fingers...
  3. PS .... will you all be attending the CJ party on Friday the 5th? We should definitely plan to meet...i can tell we are gonna mix well, and you'll love my friends too...
  4. JMT my god how on point you are !! you mirror some of my favs as well... Also, "dont think it Feeeeeel It" is another favorite. And I cant believe you said "another way!" PVD spun it in nyc last time he was here, my head fell off and I threw it at the DJ booth ! I also love solid sleep - club attack WOW mindcircus---I mean, this song is amazing! the piano....I love piano in EDM.
  5. thanx Charlie 8) PS: Â dirty bass - emotional soundscape....i mean, really----uhhh. Â ikm creamin my jeans man
  6. I am addicted to Sasha's EM from August....so many trax on this were spun on NYE I really can close my eyes and feel like im back---- about 14 mins in.....you gotta remember that----beat slowsssssss downnnnn then pickssss back up---uhh i remember losin my mind to this track. Charles, since they were simulcasting (or at least trying, ) did they record the set at avalon, can you find out?
  7. LESjunkie

    Nocturnal

so with this opening, do you predict any of the top DJs will spin there instead of Space? it would be nice to have a balance....
  8. What are some trance trax that never get old for you---meaning everytime you hear them out, no matter how many times youve heard them, it still gets you going as hard as it did the first time....here are a few that come to mind for me. Carisa, get these, I guarantee you'll love them! Frank Traxx - Nebuchan Plastic Boy - Silverbath (this song murders me live, the beat on phazon is sickening) Gouryella - Gouryella Tiesto - In My Memory (any mix) Yahel - Voyage! Mark Norman - Overkill (the fast , hard mix heard right at the beginning of Tiesto's gatecrasher november set) I feel like im leaving some out, ill add more as they come to mind, but what about you guys? please be considerate if you trance isnt palatable for you....thanx!
  9. actually i will probably stop by spider before crobar...and im sure if it's a good time we'll just end up staying so maybe ill see you!
  10. anyone down to go? I'll probably end up there...it is Tims birthday so we'll see.... Timothy, whattya want to do? you have to check this place out.....we can go late nite after the b-day soiree is over? Ill do whatever you want to do. it is your day, sir.
  11. not sure if im going to make this event....for a few reasons... a.) the roxy is the worst and the sound system is really lacking as of late. b.) gonna seee pvd the next week at wmc c.) just cant imagine entering the roxy now that we have places like avalon and Crobar....imho pvd could be at crobar, or as charles said, hammerstein.... BUT, i do love edgar V, and it would be great to finally see PVd with edsgar V rather than Diaz! do you all forecast attending or are you ambivolent like me...
  12. about 60 days, Carisa....60 days til your new dance partner gets into town. 8)
  13. the higher your posts get, the cooler a junkie you become
  14. bcnjunkie I love it! I didnt even realize---I love BCN too....
  15. dear lord I am so jealous of you all that it hurts me--- :'( I know I would have felt this night just as much as you all... behind blue eyes remix? i cant imagine such a thing!!! I love the song , id love to find a remix of it...must have been fuckin sick! There are very very few cool people here in nyc who listen to the likes of ferry, tiesto, and other trance djs...At most events here my friends and I find a corner and try to avoid most of the cheeseballs in the crowd, most barely 19 years old and carrying glowstix and lollipops...I cant take it anymore---but in south Florida this doesnt seem to be the case...
  16. PS we simply cannot stop listening to sasha's essential mix from August... i feel it deep inside me! im addicted.... PSS: I just looked at my shoes from NYE....so dirty, so sticky. so ruined, so worth it.
  17. I know Miriam too, she's m y girlll--- I really cant wait to meet you all....in march---we need to get the miami and nyc crews conjoined, at least some of us must get together. 8) bling who is your # 1 fan? did you meet someone special? that is always the best....
  18. have tonite! lucky bastards....sasha blew us away with an 8 hour set on NYE, but id be so ready to join you at space right now for ferry....man im so jealous....dance all nite & misbehave plenty, rockstars... 8)
  19. Tim I cant believe you said that! Dont you know how I feel about the word "fine?" I hate that fuckin word!
  20. Are you sure he isnt fuckin with you all? Ferry Rocks? Are the passwords usually so cheezy? who thought it up?
  21. Shit, I didnt articulate that right up there...of course I understand why DJS do afterhours, cuz afterhours are fun.------I meant why did they choose to do it @ Lot 61...that place is horrible and the sound system is wretched. That "fuckin electricity" song was great. it totally confused me and sent me into a bit of a spin. good stuff. the encore with cowgirl v. xpander and dirty sticky floors were my favorite moments....glad I was on the dance floor when they were on
  22. levelistic...it's funny....this is an aside, but my friend Aaron dances exactly like your avatar here...the entire night last night I kept thinking, my god, aaron is Levelistic's avatar in real life....weird. when we all got back to my apartment I pulled it up on my computer screen so everyone could see, and we were all in accord. I wish I could dance like your avatar...i really love it. I need to learn to move my arms better---for some people it just appears so easy for them to syncronize their body movements to music...even at unpredictable moments in a track, some people, especially latins, manage to foreshadow the beat and move accordingly....im so jealous of amazing dancers... I'm determined to become an amazing dancer. Sometimes I justify my over-indulgence in NYC nightlife by calling the all night affairs "dance class". 8)
  23. I cant imagine why such world renowned DJs would choose to do after hours, on NYE nonetheless, at quite possibly the worst venue in manhattan. I detest that place so much it almost makes me gag.
  24. I love you Charles! I hope everyone had a great NYE in Miami....New York City was over the top outrageously amazing insanityyyy!!! I had one of the greatest nights ever....Sasha laid down an 8 hour set of pure bliss to a crowd of thousands at the limelight.....So many cool people attended, and some of this planets finest looking people were decked out and dancin their asses off. Seriously, the sounds Sasha was spinning were driving everyone insane! I cannot get the night out of my mind and it is very distracting as I now sit here at work...There couldnt have been a better party to attend in nyc on nye...people from all over the world were there...at one point I was sitting at a table upstairs with 2 israelis, 2 people from tokyo, a bunch of Aussies a couple of people from boston and 3 very cool people from miami---and a chick from italy. I mean....come now---the essence of nyc and music make our planet a borderless place when they come together like that. There is nothing better than dancing for hours upon hours straight with your best friends, meeting perfect strangers and dancing with them too, when track after track after track is just so good...it's liberating----I think it might be my favorite activity in the world. Happy new year to you all....hope you rang 04 in with a bang...I sure as hell did!
  25. Aurelia I love your passion too....It's always great to meet other intense people...you seem like a rockstar and i love it. Is Aurelia your real name or just a CJ name? Also, I notice you post on this board and also on the nyc forum. where exactly are you? if you are buddies with Charles, im sure I'll meet you eventually.
