What is Oscar playing nowadays? Crap funky house & electro like 90% of the DJs? Or solid house music, druggy basslines and tribal beats like it used to be?

i was @Shelter this sunday morning, all I remember is the DJ played Blake Baxter's "sexuality" around 6 or 7am. Mad props for dropping that track.

Worst track of the night IMHO. I won't comment on Armand Van Helden'set as it was not my cup of tea. But he did not play hip-hop hehehehe. I think everyone had a good time, I know great fun thanks to the drinks and the hot girls. The sound was good, a bit harsh at some point on the dance-floor. It was my first time @Duvet and it is a definitely a nice venue.

too bad i'm coming to manhattan next week. i would have loved to hear dt & coxy. i still have fond memories of their duel night @ Twilo 2001, which was the best night in a club for me thus far (in terms of music/energy/atmosphere). don't forget to write reviews! (and more than a couple of YOUsuckTUBE video clips)

don't worry, everyone speaks a little english, especially among young crowd/clubbers. i am french, living in Paris but moving to Manhattan in october. The crowd at Mix Club is VERY young (16-20) but the club is nice. Bob Sinclar sucks and hardly plays in Paris.

i really do not want to go back to the old & tired "DT vs JR" war. however, i heard both of them in the past week so i feel i should add my commens. jr's track selection @bassline was cool, some classic tracks (DJ Pierre etc...), some new stuff (AME "rej", "bodyshaker"). but her mixing was atroce and killed the flow of the night IMHO. DT @ Stereo: unbelievable night/day, top notch mixing, creative edits, acapellas, i would kill my mother (j/k) to ID some of the tracks he played. i will give another try to Jr @Spirit monday pride morning.
