  1. House of Gypsies-Sum Sigh Say Raze-Break for Love Tori Amos/Armand van Helden-Professional Widow CJ Bolland (Armand's drum and bass mix)-Sugar is Sweeter And I must agree on the Plastic Dreams thing....DEFINITELY Plastic Dreams, U can never go wrong with that track.
  2. Never said it wasn't tough...it's hard as hell. And I wasn't wrecking on you or anything. U just asked for opinions, and sometimes in order to give the correct opinion u have to throw some constructive criticism into the mix. Yes, a lot of stuff sounds the same today (especially with any type of dance music these days) and the reason that is, is because when someone sees that something works, everyone has to hop on that bandwagon, whatever it may be. Everyone wants to be successful, make money at it, so everything ends up sounding the same. And just because something sells a lot does not necessarily equate to it being good. It just equates to appealling very well to the mass public. (and there are plenty of examples of that, which I'm sure u are well aware of, and which I won't even get into). And chants are used often in tribal and house tracks, so I don't think it's that different. I didn't dislike your tracks, I thought they were good, just not amazing. And as I said before, production wise they were very on point. My two cents.... S DEE
  3. Janet J bootleg (what have u done for me lately)-"wrong"<---hot tribal Kylie-Love at first sight (Scumfrog) Starchaser-Love will set u free Shakedown-At night Aurora-Dreaming (Goldtrix mix) Kid Creme-Hypnotizing Absolute Beginerz-Reckless Girl (white) umm....there's more, just can't think of them all now!:rainbow:
  4. First, some of the good things.... Production is tight Enjoy the percussive type beat in the middle of the calling Some not so good things... the main thing is that though these tracks are produced well, there is nothing that special about them to make them stand out from the millions of other progressive trance tracks out there. If you just started producing I'm sure originality and uniqueness will eventually come with time, but right now that seems to me to be the main thing that if changed, would make me love them. But keep on, it sounds like u're headed somewhere good! Good Luck S DEE:D
  5. Its PERPETUOUS dreamer, but it doesn't shock me that that label was on AG. God forbid anybody ever labels anything right on there.
  6. out on robbins ent. in the us, single available in stores in case u cared
  7. The mix that u're thinking about is the above and beyond vocal mix, it's the one she used in the video that MTV ridiculously wouldn't play. It came out prob. around a yr. ago, great mix.
  8. That's why he did it. Obivously there can't be any other reason, he's trying to work the EXTREMELY mainstream audience to make some mainstream money. That's how it works.
  9. Yup, I must have been mixin it up with Hi-Gate... Cleared things up for me;)
  10. MY ABSOLUTE FAVE TRACK RIGHT NOW!! Luv the Scumfrog mix, but supposedly there's even more on the way coming from Kid Creme, Pants and Corset, and Twin Master Plan. This track is floating around on UK promo (which is very hard to find for obvious reasons). Supposedly it's being officially released in June.
  11. Yomanda was my fave.... I was told it was one of Judge Jules' monikers however... so who knows another yomanda mix could pop up again b/c Jules is still alive and kicking....(he rocks)
  12. Been out for around a yr. on import (credence), now capitol has picked it up in the U.S. Dirty Vegas-Days go by It's all bout getting those tracks in commercials... No better promotion than that I guess... Regardless, I have always thought it was a good song.
  13. I don't have it but that's a great song :-)
  14. I don't think it's 68 beats either... I believe, believe it or not, it's some sort of mix to the new Kylie song being released soon, not "In Your Eyes", but "Love at First Sight." Mixes by: Scumfrog Twin Master Plan Kid Creme Have no idea which mix Denny is playing, or the one I have been hearing everywhere, but I want it!
  15. Picked up this track down in Miami... It is hot as hell... especially the d ramirez mix, but really all the mixes are good. It is a white label, I think Satellite probably has copies (www.satelliterecords.com) or try www.musicindustrystore.com That's if u wanna pick up the vinyl, otherwise, can't help ya.
  16. I must say my style has evolved very similar to yours. What I like now is usually different from what I used to dig way back when... ppl change and music changes... however.... I've always liked Hex from the beginning, even before anyone knew who he was (before he made a name for himself). U can't deny that he's a talented producer, even if you don't like him any more b/c he's "commercial." As for the new Kim Sozzi, I absoultely HATED it when I first heard it, but now it's growing on me too... It's one of those...
  17. very tru!! It's one of my personal faves ever and is a classic, NOT CHEESE!
  18. Def. diggin their playlist more than hot97... as far as the commerical free thing, that is cool, but will only last the first few months--it's a radio trick that aids in a new station getting a new, large audience. But after the first couple months they have to start playing commericals, otherwise they can't afford to be in business. Commercials is how them stations make money... They just pray that their audience stays with them once that starts happening...
  19. shmoke:smoke: then sleeeeep:zzz:
  20. hydrogen rockers=dirty vegas they're the same ppl
  21. If you're just going to hear the dj spin and enjoy the music I don't think the crowd should really matter...(being that u would just be trying it out randomly)...
  22. Crazy...I didn't see your post until after I posted, it wasn't there when I clicked to respond, which means we were both basically writing the same thing as the same time without knowing! oh, and btw dr0ne, I like the way you think!
