we hide all the good shit from you losers from nyc/nj. the only taste of FL you ever get when you come down here is the cheesy tourist shit that none of us will even notice, let alone spend time and money on. on diners.... again you have to know where to look. try lesters on st rd 84 just east of andrews. or the one over by 17th street cswy accross from the art institute.

hmmm.... i have mixed emotions on this. i love lola. kick ass venue. but the outdoor area of rain will be sorely missed.

just to clarify... i said that tyrant vol 1 was nothing that a florida breaks dj couldn't have done. personally i feel that brewsters is better than louthy's, but not by much. yet both are still far superior to anything craig and lee have released. anything.

tyrant 2 is average at best. paul louth's 'funky logic' and bill brewsters 'house mix' is what tyrant could and should have been. craig and lee are falling into that sasha and digweed catagory.... brilliant solo, but leave much to be desired together. i also feel that tyrant 1 didn't hold up all that well either. nothing that a florida breaks dj couldn't have done, and done better. take it for what it's worth. louthy and brewster make this look like the silly subpar mix that it is, representing the true london underground. if dave christopher would've given them 'deeper', then maybe? this is the mix that they didn't want to release.

maybe things have changed then. i hardly ever waste my time w/ ft laud. as much as i love the lust crew, i can't stand the ft laud crowd.

pretty typical for there to be 18+ girls 21+ guys in broward. that's what the wristbands are for genius.

man, you guys gotta give diego some slack here. the only reason he rips on miami so much is the fact that he moved to nyc from here only to see their scene shrink faster than a castanza in the pool after twilo closed. meanwhile, miami has continued to have a bad ass scene. nyc HAD one bad ass club (still think it was a ripoff of groovejet, but that's another argument), and the rest is all juice. you'd be frustrated like no limit too if you were in his shoes! :laugh: :laugh:
