I second that motion... out of all the psychadelic experiences i have had, and all the different substances that have offered me hallucinations, (and for both instances, there have been many), i have never had more elaborate sequences involving hallucinations, that with shrooms. to this day, i can tell you letter for letter about a specific trip i took ten years ago, and the most amazing things that were revealed to me on that occasion. there are a lot of experiences that i can recall vivid details of, and specific orders of events in the visuals were like dreamscapes, not just as simple a your mind playing tricks on you like it so often does. what i mean is, far more elaborate hallucinations than what a lot of people are describing here. ultimately i think tripping is the exposure of your subconcious to a degree. anyway, as far as mushrooms are concerned, if you find some rocket-shrooms, let me know. until then i will be waiting for the phish tour to come around, the neo-hippies always know where it's at when it comes to shrooms. until lift off... ------------------ don't act too cool because you might get shot...

house is one way to describe Armand, but i bes histhink eclectic descri style better. he mixes all kinds of flavor into his music, including hip hop quite often. i dig Armand for a long time, he's an excellent dj and producer, but he is ornary, and full of attitude. last time he was supposed to be at the Roxy on a friday night, he no showed and was seen at Vinyl checkin out danny. but that was a Scotto party, so who knows... he doesnt get the respect he deserves in new york and is vocal about it. he's literally a god in europe. rumor has it that he was slated for one of the bigger venues in ibiza the summer before last in the midst of the trance craze we were having, and he went up and started pumping a hip hop laced house set and they booed him outta there. (the effect he was he was looking for) this party should be hot though, the people who set it up don't fool around. be cool ------------------ don't act too cool because you might get shot...

true, true... i was lucky enough to grow up with a guy, who's father is a complete madman. he was born again on an acid trip, as he was sitting in the apartment of his dealer in the village, the pigs busted in and served a warrant, he claims that the letters on the warrant dripped off the page and somewhere along that route he was born again. he left the chemical scene, as god doesnt warrant that type of behavior. yet he can still be heard mumbling something jesus once said "nothing is unclean of itself"....somehow that translates into "if it comes from the earth you can use it". needless to say, mushrooms and grass were used on a regular basis for his bible studies. the mushrooms only for his sunday studies of course... until he ate far too many and (in total he ate 1/4 ounce of some rocket shrooms, thinking the first 1/8 didnt work, he ate the rest and...) went on a trip that lasted a total of 9 days, ending when he collapsed in manhattan i front of his office (the DEP). he was promptly taken to a mental institution, where he did a short stint and went back to work. from here he devised a master plan and studied peote, everything about it, for 10 years before he took his maiden voyage to texas... the first trip was no so fruitful, as he learned that the august flower of the cactii in question is most powerful. so 2 years later he returned and with is plan in full effect, six weeks later, including many absurd adventures on the side (don quixote type absurd adventures) he reappears with nearly two pounds of ripe august buttons ready for processing. this is pushing 10 years now and the stash is long gone, and not to be cliche but, what a long strange trip it's been. im certain there is another adventure on the horizon, but we have come to the conclusion that he will never return from the next one. i must admit that stopping by his home during a cactus induced sunday bible study was worth more than a few laughs. if you have never seen a human being whom resembles mr. potatohead, in the flesh, i recommend it highly. not to mention the things he would say, thats a whole other story. although cactii doesnt fit into the idea of 'new drug', im certain it's new to most, hence my story. it's def worth a try, but i can tell you it's not for everyone, and you must have an iron stomach to make it through, i would guess half of my friends who were lucky enough to indulge made it through those initial 2 hours, but it was well worth it i think. i apologize for the length, but if i kept going it might sound like something straight out of a hunter s thompson novel. this guy lived it though. be cool stephen ------------------ don't act too cool because you might get shot...

this show is top notch... one night the iron chef made possibly the most disgusting dish imaginable, but mad creative. the ingredient was codfish for the night, that bastard made codfish roe ice cream. (roe being this fish eggs) this was his seventh dish for the codfish menu, and he even shaped it into a little fish. fish egg ice cream aint fo me. but that salt crust grill method is excellent.. ------------------ don't act too cool because you might get shot...

no joke, my grandad used to keep a goat for a pet out here in suburbia. her name was Rosebud, her favorite snack was tobacco and shirtsleeves. she had her people, like a dog or cat has its people. anyone she disliked had to watch the fuck out though, she knocked many a jackass off their feet with a headbutt to the midsection. i have many affectionate memories of Rosebud, she was a great pet. one amusing quote that sticks in my head, from 'grand'... in referance to the egyptian folks who moved in opposite him...
