Hey thanx for checkin out the page. I was beginning to wonder if anyone had seen it from here. We've been branching out to other clubs lately. Hit Vinyl the other night...sucked. I was at Vinyl on Saturday and thought it was horrible. The venue has so much potential but I felt like I was at the after hour gathering from a family bbq. I'll have to see it on a Friday, but as far as I'm concerned Saturday at Vinyl sux!

I understand where some of you are coming from, but I have little compassion for someone who took their party a bit too far and sadly paid the ultimate price. I don't have to worry or waste time wondering "what if it happened to someone I know?" because I know my friends would put themselves in such a situation. And I am concerned about next week because why should my good time or anyone else's for that matter suffer because one unlucky soul paid dearly for a mistake? This is what happens in NY, people do too many drugs wind up ODing or whatever and it is the club community as a whole that must pay for it by either an event being called off or the venue being shut down by Guilani's Gestapo. I do feel a sense of compassion for the person who passed away, but I won't let it affect me because I know me and my friends won't make the same error. Hey whoever can help me...I recieved my weekly mail update from clubplant.com and in it under the weekly Vinyl events it stated that the mininum age was 18. Is that a typo? I am hoping it isn't because my girl is 19 and I really want her to get in. I tried calling Vinyl and all I get is a recording that says the voice mail system is full. Help please!

Pershoot Hey thanks for the offer. I already have it on a few cds, but it's not easy to spin records and cd at the same time. But then again I'm really just learning out to spin. If you do find it anywhere on vinyl besides the Expeditions vinyl, please let me know.

I'm looking for the track "Expand the Room" by The Light. Sasha and Digweed have done a mix of it on Expeditions. Where can I find this track on vinyl? I want to try and use it in my own sets. Any help is appreciated.

Hey Kat.... To get to the rooftop at Exit you got to the second floor coat check (The main one). To the right of the coat check is another room. It's usually a mix of hip hop or Reggae on a normal Exit night. In that room is one main staircase going up. That's the rooftop. It's not too bad up there. Very cool and relaxing at around the 5am hour and the sun starts to peek out. Unfortunatly the roof was closed for the rave. Wish it was open, could have opened up so much more space to move and dance.

Yeah just because the rave wasn't what you would've liked, don't blame the club. I was there last night and I thought it was too crowded and way way way too young. I felt like a freaking chapperone at a prom and I'm only 23!! The club is awesome, I've been gong there alot for the past 4 months. Trust me, last night was not a fair or accurate representation of how Exit is.

If you want the safest e in a club just go to a stage or podium and ask the big bouncer guys. They'll take you by the arm and direct right to the candy booth and give you the "secret codeword" to give the bartender. And if you believe that then you truly are dumb...especially after a post like yours.

Sasha or Digweed? That's not easy. I like them both when they spin together. What I was oh so lucky to witness at Virgin last Thursday was wild and seeing how well they work together. But just to the slightest of margins, I give the nod to Digweed when they're solo. He's so much more crisper at times and he just this extra added depth to his sets. The Hong Kong Global Underground is intense. And I have alot of Bedrock vinyl and it's nutz. Sasha is amazing too, don't get me wrong. I think they are the top DJs on the scene now and I think they'll be at the top for a long time to come.

Man I can't wait for this thing to go off Monday night. It's my first rave and I'm so stoked for it. The line up just looks sick. Gonna be a wild night.

Just want to add my opinion to this topic.... I tried E for the first time about 5 months ago and was blown away by the feeling and the energy it gives you. I see nothing wrong with it, but as Blueangel said..Moderation is key. I go an average 3 weeks between drops...sometimes as much as 10 weeks. To me it's not addictive. If I don't have it, I don't have it. But if it's avalable and the time is right, then I don't shun it. And I did do my research on it and I think I'm extremely careful and responsible about the whole thing. It all depends on your interest and in my opinion...the best way to discover something is for you or not is to try it just once. You'll know ag=fter the first time if it is for you or not. But remeber..don't get pressured into it.

I'm definatly going to be there. I'm so new to the club scene and all the djs I've heard are extremely talented. My favorites are Sasha and Digweed. I've heard some of Oaky and to see him live should be an experience.

Is this true? Sasha and Digs at Virgin? Oh man hope it is. This is going to be wild.

Man I gotta say that I do love Exit. I went to Tunnel for awhile and then decided to check out Exit and I don't think I'll ever go to Tunnel again. Exit is huge and I love that it's so spacious and there's a great vibe goin on there. Each floor is like a new experience. Can't wait to check out their rooftop though, I heard it's not too bad. But yeah, Exit is my favorite. ------------------

I like Exit alot. And I'm not one of those people who just jumps on their bandwagon. I've been to quite a few clubs. All over Miami and Ft. Lauderdale last year. Up here I've been to Tunnel and Paladium. Now I know that's not alot to go on, but I fell in love with Exit the 1st time I went there. To me it just keeps a powerful vibe going and helps me keep raving all night long. Being 19 really shouldn't be a problem. They don't really card too hard...especially for the ladies. A young lady I raved and hooked up with at Exit a few weeks ago was 19 and she said she had no trouble getting in and that was on a Saturday night too and the place was mobbed and frisked real hard but she still got in. Go ahead an try it, I'm sure you'll get in. Hey if it's your first time, you're more than welcome to hitch along with the group I go with. A good mix of girls and guys.
