I have never had a problem with my JBL's. They put out a solid amount of bass and I have never had one kick out on me. Im sure those EV's pump but don't count out the JBL's they definetly hold their own. I have a set of JBL EON's and they're awesome. No amps needed because they are self powered and they're light so its easy to carry. I love my 1200's and will never stray to another company. They work for me and are in almost every club world wide. Any club I have spun at has 1200's so they must be doing something right. Mondo is still my favorite. I'll go there first then hit decadance and beyond bass because believe it or not Mondo has the jams. I only use Technics 1200's but a friend of mine just got the new Dennon turntables and he loves them. I was at Exit on firday and would have to say the music was a bit off. I know he is better than that. I don't go to Exit on fridays that often but from the couple times this year that I have been there I would have to say that the crowd wasn't as "hard" as it usually is. I thought it was more commercial than usuaul. Could be a good thing depending on how you look at it. As far as music it was pretty bad, I know Tony and would never trash him but... he was off. I also heard some of the worst train wrecks I've heard from a DJ of his calliber. We all have our bad nights, happens to everyone. I live in hoboken and have been there a few times. I would find it hard to believe that he would be there. Mike Ski is one thing but DJ Scott Project is another.
