  1. thanks so much for replying to my guestlist request! can't wait to hear groovefire, d:fuse and ray kang!!
  2. me too. i always edit my own b/c there's a lot of useless crap on that WMC list. i have it on a spreadsheet, i'm a nerd.
  3. http://cj2.c o o l j u n kieforums.com/wmc/000101.html take out the spaced b/t the word in the middle - CP just makes it all stars if it's altogether.
  4. kenneth cole, cartier, tiffany, saks, tumi, ferragamo, dunhill to name a few.
  5. you can only download the party list IF you are a mac user. this feature is not available for PC users yet, unfortunately.
  6. you don't have to hold a "residency" with GC in order to spin at their parties. it seems to me that you are just selectively reading posts here. i, along with many other people in this thread, have stated multiple times that we've heard scott project at Limelight's Gatecrasher parties. he's clearly different from Scott Bond. come on now. so nice try! apparently you WEREN'T at all the GC parties!
  7. wow, are you kidding me? Scott Project was on point at the Limelight during the Gatecrasher party. wow, what a memorable party. glad to say that was one of the last parties i attended there. edit: come to think of it, all the gatecrasher parties at the Limelight (after the tunnel closed) was dope. are you sure you know what you're talking about?
  8. everyone reaches their peak with the WMC at their own time. granted, the event has become more and more popular as each year has gone by. with that comes both good and bad aspects... it's good since you'll have a lot more parties to choose from and you'll get to meet people from around the world. how can you not chuckle at the crazy brits with their matching DJ shirts and terrible dancing at ultra? but then again, it does get more crowded and it becomes more of a "bring the masses" type of event. nonetheless, discouraging people from going is not really worthwhile of your time or anyone else's. i recommend that everyone check it out on their own time and judge for themselves.
  9. sorry to hear that. but you should definitely call and harass them to negotiate something of equal value and quality for you. also put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau - www.bbb.org to make sure others are aware of these issues you face. good luck to you. this actually scared the crap outta me so i called my hotel. they at first didn't have my reservation and i almost had a heart attack. luckily they found it after i was screaming for a bit.
  10. no. jeans look best with kicks.
  11. i agree with 411. don't chase the $$$ first. do something you are passionate about - that passion will lead to success and $$$. i say this b/c i did everything in the name of $$$ - my college choice, my major choice, my career choice. and i'm a miserable f!ck. i studied math, i was an investment banker for a lil bit. i was making quite a bit of $$, also b/c i never had time to spend it. now i stepped down from that, i'm in investment management, but i regret not following my dreams... and chasing $$ instead.
  12. hmm.. i wasnt planning on hitting this until post-dinner... around 8ish.... is that a bad time?
  13. hey, do what i do - get the japanese thermal straightening done. it costs about $300-400, lasts for about 6-8 months. it beats frying the hell out of my hair to straighten it. i've gotten it done twice, i'll probably get it done again later this year.... it's the SH!T..
  14. thank you! please put a sticky up or something in this forum when that's been done.
  15. D:Fuse. solid trance DJ hailing from Texas (typically wears a cowboy hat while spinning). he's opened up for the past years for Oakenfold. NOT cheesy at all. he's been picked up by Oakie's label, Perfecto, previously having done a few of the "Psychotrance" compilations on Moonshine (not sure if it's them). i would DEFINITELY check him out. i can't wait to hear him again in Miami.
  16. There's a Super Funk party at Nikki Beach on Saturday - and I believe Clubplanet is a sponsor... Is there a guestlist for this we could sign up for? Thanks in advanced.
  17. i love it! 1) celly, so if you lose your friends you can txt message them 2) hot lip gloss. make sure those lips are lookin hot! 3) bronzer, blush, anything to bring out the tan you'll be sportin' 4) comfortable clothes to dance your @ss off in, not just hizzy clubgear 5) flip flops 6) listerine mint strips
  18. i hate the ones that the masses start to wear as soon as the hip hop stars rock them in videos. like the flat, wide brim caps, the caps with alternating colors, wearing them to the side like a 'wigger' (for a lack of better term). i also don't like the ratty ass, falling apart ones, whether they were intentionally purchased that way or made that way from years of use (get a new one). i like clean ones, minimal logos, worn either neatly forward or sometimes backwards if you're playing a sport or doing something active. i like the dark blue/white logo yankees hat that jay-z rocks, i did like the college ones when i was in college...
  19. i agree, the book is much better than the movie (isn't it always). seth green is hilarious in this movie. the other characters are boring. oh, i really liked the soundtrack.
  20. any info on price yet? is there a guestlist? thanks!
  21. atrium, on broadway (near houston). i just got a g-star jacket on sale for $80 (from $200) there.
  22. i splurged and got the Sigerson Morrison ones off of Vivre.com. BUT, i got them at home and i was so devestated! they are just shaped all wrong for my foot. it's made for people with really long toes or something, b/c it was jamming up against my feet and it hurt! i really like them, i don't think you need to get the Sigerson ones. i think they are cute for when you want to dress slightly cuter for dinner and are going out afterwards - it's a good "transition" shoe, imo.
