another question: do you feel bad if your significant other dreams about cheating on you?

why do people wear t-shirts for bands they don't like, or don't even know? why wear a "CBGB" t-shirt if you've never been there? why wear a "Vandit" t-shirt if you've never been there? great mysteries of the fashion world...

you know, for the amount of time, gas $ + toll $ it'll take you to get down to Brooklyn from Yonkers, it just doesn't seem worth it. beacon's closet is like a hipster, glorified, more pricey version of the Salvation Army. seriously. head to your nearest Salvation Army and i promise you will find equally as interesting and funky stuff, and much cheaper. the only problem with the Salvation Army is that you have to dig, dig, dig. i'm not familiar with Yonkers, but if you want discounted clothes, have you headed over to Woodbury Commons? it's about 45 mins from NYC, i could only imagine it being even closer to you. that place is PHENOMENAL. i always find great deals there. if you are heading into the city, which is closer to you than brooklyn, and you still want discounted clothing, check out: Century 21, Fab208, Andees Cheapees (not cheap, but vintage clothing), Cheap Jacks (once again, not cheap, but vintage threads), Alice Underground, Filenes Basement. good luck. i hear ya about being a po' college kid.. we've all been there.

i went to the one in W-burg. It's huge, lots of stuff, mostly geared towards women. it depends on what you are looking for. they don't have extremely antique stuff, just a lot of cheap used clothing. why would you want to go down there from yonkers?

i absolutely hate astroglyde, i don't know what all the hypes about. it's sticky, gooey and doesn't feel at all natural. it leaves unsightly stains on sheets... don't even get me STARTED on KY! the best, by far, but it'll cost you.. is Sylk Lubricant. it's all natural ingredients so no greasiness, no stains, nothing. it's an Australian product, i've only seen it online and at Garden of Eve in NYC. it costs a whopping $12-15 for a little bottle... but dayam.... so worth it.

i really don't like essie. it always chips too quickly. i recommend using opi, it's not the greatest but it's much better than essie. i like the color sweet heart. very pretty for french manis. if your natural nails are longer enough, it naturally looks like i have a french mani b/c my white nailtips show through the nail polish.

shorts? oh god no. unless you're a female dancer wearing shorts that are about 2 inches long. shoes, either find a comfortable pair of black, dressy shoes (kenneth cole, bruno magli, etc) or go with a clean pair of kicks (diesel, acupuncture, etc). i'd say that the only thing that really changes for guys when going to clubs in warmer weather is that you don't need to wear a jacket. i think that a clean short sleeve polo (lacoste, burberry), if you can pull it off, linen pants, look hot!

i do like some mixed prints, but i think it looks best in little doses and subtly. i think the skirt is too long and the patterns don't flow - looks kinda messy. i could see it MAYBE working if the skirt was shorter, but even then i'd still pass. it looks like nice satin-y material though.

for awhile his sh1t was hanging above rockefeller center... his art is all over the place post-LV stuff.

i wouldn't say just techno. what i like best about him is that he'll pull things out of that black ass that makes your jaw drop on the dancefloor... thinking to yourself... oh no he didnt... i've heard him drop techno, house, progressive trance, soulful classics, you name it. but the one common theme is that all his beats will be hard and it will be kicking your ass.

ok, were we listening to the same chemical brothers?! i thought they completely sucked ballz and i was so disappointed. they were def within my top 5 DJs i wanted to see and that was a complete waste of time. i don't know where you guys were standing, but i was behind the white tent smack in the middle of the crowd and there was not a single person dancing around me. i think everyone in my vicinity all fell asleep in synch.

i think it's shady. if you aren't allowed to test one that's a big red alarm going off in my head. despite the fact that the pill's description sounds legitimate, that doesn't mean sh!t. if it's a large transaction occurring, a sample of the goods is just good business measures. i say DO NOT BUY.
