Sorry, Sin, but you did come accross harsh. You have some good points, although not entirely true. The main one that I'd like to talk about is the depression thing. MDMA, in and of itself, has no physically addictive properties. The only time that you feel addicted is when you want the feeling back. That's a mental addiction. You can't tell someone that they're going to be depressed if they roll too much. It's simply not fact. True, it may happen, but it's not a GIVEN truth. I started a few months ago, and hit it HARDCORE (10+/night, 3 nights a week). Then, one day, we couldn't find it. I didn't get depressed. Quite the contrary, I had a great time looking back, while sober, at the experiences. It just made my next time even better. While I freely admit that doing that much E was simply retarded, I'm only trying to prove a point. Yup. 5htp is just the trick you need. Sleep if you can, and eat well, too. Eat something balanced, with a lot of vitamins C and E. Take a couple 5htp NO LESS THAN 8 hours before you plan on rolling. Not by choice, but by necessity. When I go to a rave, especially with my crew, we're really bad about not telling each other what we plan to spin. Our musical interests are a lot alike, so it became important for us to bring A LOT of music. So far, that's the ONLY advantage that I see to spinning CD. Although cd players like the Denon 2600 do emulate a vinyl sound pretty well, you'll never beat the feel of a set of 1200's. I got the ultimate compliment this week. I work in a small town (about 100k people). The club's the biggest in the area, but the area's still podunk. So, I come into work this past Saturday, decked out since it was cool in the club that night. My hair's bright red, but glows hot pink under the blacklight, with bright yellow tips to it. KInda looks like fire. I walk up to the bar and this slackjawed, inbred bitch that bartends for us give me this "you look more and more like a fag every time I see you". ROFL! Hrmmm...if you want a little speed, but to still be able to chill out, I've got a couple suggestions. Tic-Tac's TT's (not the same pill.) Piecies (sp?) (Have a fish on them) Aladdins (Li'l genie bottle) Any of those should do you good. I got burnt on the TT's after a week, though. They didn't hardly affect me the following weekend.
