    Help me

Uhm, try to encrypt the letters M, D, M, and A somewhere in the finishing line? Or make subtle references to dilated pupils that only the rollers would get? Or find out what kinds of pills they used and regard them as objects or persons kindly? Just some thoughts... I've given up the silly things a while ago but still have warm memories!
  2. What time are yous guys meeting up at Rain?

    Josh Wink

Definitely would like to see him, but I'll be in New York that weekend actually. Vinyl on Friday, Sound Factory on Saturday... like them good ol days!
  4. I was going to say, "Wha... am I really that out of touch with the Miami scene"! In other words, I didn't realize that it was in Orlando. Hope it went well. At the risk of sounding cheesy (I trust that I won't because copies of my CD are floating around NYC and received good reviews): I am finally moving into a place big enough to get my decks out of the box again, and hope to post one of these announcements on the board myself soon!
  5. Royalton is another place designed by Philip Starck, right? He's awesome - his hotels are SO nice to hang out at. I think he designed a hotel in South Beach, too, but I can't remember which. I would definitely recommend looking it up and staying there if you can afford it - it really puts a great touch on your vacation. I would imagine that if you're staying at a place of that caliber, the concierge might help you out with VIP passes to clubs as well.
  6. By the way, for those of us that occasionally travel in the other direction - to NYC - I definitely recommend The Hudson Hotel on 9th Avenue and 59th Street. It's not too overpriced and while small, the rooms are sweet - Philip Starck design at his best. And the lobby and the bar will impress the hell out of your companions. No, I don't get any commissions...

March Madness? Right on! To steal a quote from Nike, "What are you training for?" Totally planning to be in full effect. I was in NYC in mid-December and will be there next Friday as well. Definitely craving my DT fix...
  8. I am a Taurus which is the astrological opposite/perfect match for Scorpios. As long as we can handle our struggle for control problems, man do sparks fly... do they EVER!
  9. Are yous forgetting your alphabet or something? G baby, don't forget the G!!!
  10. LOL! Well, I do consider providing free insensitivity training as one of my purposes in life!

    about space

Hey Diego, what's doing? In my opinion, the dress code issue is debatable. Obviously, clubs use it to get certain type(s) in and keep other type(s) out. I guess that's ok if you are assembling a social club, but if you are entertaining true music and dance fans, then you ought to be prepared to admit them in any attire as the music and the dancing would do the screening for you. Within reason, of course. Anyways, did anyone notice that most South Floridians were frozen solid into the warmth of their homes this past weekend? Maybe that had something to do with it... Oh and by the way - I've never had a bad time at Space. It's definitely at the top of my list.
  12. I'm interested; in the tradition of the NYC chapter, any peoples wanna meet-up?

    New Website

Looks good. I think it's a bit in-your-face with that pop-up, but I suppose most people can handle it. Back in the day I built the Maxim Online site (that was a fun, fun job), and we always tried to keep the user in control over the navigation. Other than that, I like! Even more so, look forward to stopping by! scoundrel_al on the liquidmiami.com forum
  14. Right on! Can I get my Barry Harris cd back now? By the way, your sig pic kinda looks like Paris.
  15. I know... I would like to believe that four of my coworkers didn't die in 9/11, but one of them's userid is still in on my AIM buddies list, and I know he is never logging on... I'm keeping it there forever... Aaanyways... Well, I moved back to Miami in October - you may remember me as scoundrel_al on the VIP board. Occasionally I do travel to NYC, but for the most part, the meetups are gonna have to be here on SoBe. I'm down for any sort of socializing, so... the floor is yours. Personally I'm the scruffy type that stumbles into Big Pink sometime on Sunday afternoon for the first meal since Friday morning, but I can also clean up my act and do something like Sushi Samba or whatever... I don't have any dining favourites on the beach since I usually am appetite suppressed, so to speak , so I'd rather open that to discussion.
  16. Sushi meet-up any friggin' time! I miss those CNYC gatherings! They were so much fun! The first one I went to was organized by our beloved Blueangel at L'Ulvio in SoHo...

    I hate Fat PPL!!!

Is that what your dollar-a-day goes to feed?
  18. Z, are you reading my posts on the VIP board and then commenting here? Come on, they just won't swing the same punch without the true, the original, the crass, the insincere, the shallow SCOUNDREL! Let me settle back into my original alter ego (where it all began - the *resident* of Clubplanet), and I'll provoke a heated debate or two, and man-hating is my favourite topic!
  19. Amen sister, a-f***-men! Consider yourself lucky for stumbling upon this at 20. It took me until 27 to get dumped for the first time - not a bad track record, I know, but I guess when you're an old man like me, who used to walk to school in the snow and all it translates into (see above) a badly busted ego. And that's a bitch... Been a playa until last fall, then finally decided to give them damn feelings a swing, and that's what I get... well, back to being a playa, what else!
  20. Well... I'm not going to stir up drama like I did on the VIP board, but... fully agreed. Love does not exist. Or when it does, err... when it fakes you into believing in it's existence, there's trouble like it ain't worth it. But from my perspective right now, love is still easier to get over than a busted ego. To me anyway - emotions are easier to get over than something logical in nature, such as self-respect/ego and the related. Sucks yo, it really does...
  21. Mikey? THE Mikey? What's up man? Remember chillin back at my my place on 46th? Down the street from the Factory?
  22. Literally - I've been in Miami since last October. Same as Missing in Action - haven't treaded any club ground in what feels like forever. So... what did I miss? (I know - lots). Any folks that I used to meet up with back in New York? Anyone remember my name even? Come on, fellow old skoolers! Ah, whatever... Anyways... if there are any organized happenings, would be glad to attend!
  23. On Sunday night I ate at Sports Cafe on Washington and 6th. Don't let the name confuse you - yes it has TV's with sports on, but it's a sweet stylish place with great food for around $10/plate that definitely has potential. For sure I am going back when our cold-azz cold front passes and more people are chillin outside.

  25. Check it pal - g before the dinner is da bomb. Drop a bit on empty stomach, and as you're startin to swirl, hit the carbs and you'll be smooth until you finish up the heavy stuff and then you're good sleepin for a couple of hours, wake up like a million. And I'm just a little guy in a big man's gym, so I'm still messin with the precursors, but 5 caps of androdiol before all that sets me up - ladies beware, yeah! ------------------ In G We Trust
