Andy...totally remember that! We had some "brownies" before the movie...what a riot. Furnace has been my handle since I've been on the internet. It was the name of my band in high school. After getting to college, I started playing Quake competitively and I used Furnace cuz everyone else was "Killer", "Wolf", "Scorpion", or "Deathstalker" or some uncreative shit like that. Got on IRC and ICQ and AIM cuz of that... And here I am... ------------------

We are all here cuz we share the love of trance, house, and dance music in general. I was wondering what other people are starting to get into here besides the aformentioned... Personally, I'm really getting into what I call "dub" music. Best example is: Thievery Corporation Also good are: Jazzanova Nicola Conte Les Baxter Nightmares on Wax Ian Pooley Fila Brazilia Mo' Horizons John Beltran I'm always on the lookout for what's new and what's next. Def brings back memories...many h.s. nights round the table playing spades. We actually switched to Pinochle...basically junior year in h.s. we had a year-long set where we played almost every day at lunch. By May, we were so into it that we just forgot to eat. Go to Twilo. For a more chill time, go to Liquids. Vinyl is also good, and depending on the night, Limelight might be a good touristy experience. But don't leave NYC without having been to Twilo. Maybe Exit if you have extra time... ------------------ -=Keep it trancin'...=-

That happens to me too. Line up 4 or 5 trance albums during the workday...but after work, alot of times I start listing to chill stuff like you said. Floyd is cool, but I listen more to re-grind 80's like lounge music. Stuff like Ian Pooley, Fila Brazilia, Theivery Corporation...
