  1. I can't wait to go back to Roxy. It's been so long. Anyone know the price at the door? Will it still be 40 at the door? Cause I don't want to pay that 5 dollar service fee online.
  2. http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/national/AP-Club-Deaths.html February 17, 2003 21 Die in Night Club Stampede By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Filed at 10:55 a.m. ET CHICAGO (AP) -- Hundreds of screaming guests rushed the exit of a crowded nightclub after someone set off a chemical spray, and at least 21 people were crushed to death in the panic, fire officials said. There were more than 1,500 people in the two-story Epitome Night Club on the city's South Side when someone released pepper spray or Mace into the air sometime after 2 a.m., Fire Commander Will Knight said. ``Everybody smashed; people crying, couldn't breathe,'' said clubgoer Reggie Clark. ``Two ladies next to me died. A guy under me passed out.'' Twenty-one people were confirmed dead, Chicago Police spokesman Pat Camden said. ``It appears a disturbance from within led to a mass chaos where people headed for the door. Most of the fatalities appear to have been crushed or had injuries due to suffocation,'' said police Officer Ozzie Rodriguez. Cory Thomas, 33, went to the club to pick up two friends. As he waited outside, he saw people inside the club start to back up against the glass front door. ``You could see a mound of people. People were stacking on top of each other, screaming and gagging, I guess from the pepper spray. The door got blocked because there were too many people stacked up against it,'' he said. ``I saw them taking out a pregnant woman,'' Thomas said. ``She was in bad shape. I saw at least 10 lifeless bodies.'' Kristy Mitchell, 22, was one of the people trampled on the stairway. ``People were stomping my legs,'' she said. ``When they pulled me up, I was dizzy and I couldn't breathe.'' Knight said the total number of injuries was unclear because many of those with minor injuries were being taken to hospitals by family and friends. Amishoov Blackwell, 30, was checking his coat on the second floor when people started rushing past him. The flow of the crowd pushed him back down the stairs and he fell on top of several people, he said. He was trapped on top of the others until firefighters rescued him about 30 minutes later. ``It wasn't nothing but two girls fighting,'' Blackwell said. ``Why'd they have to spray Mace?'' The Rev. Jesse Jackson arrived at the scene early Monday and urged community members to help each other. ``We are asking area ministers to go to hospitals,'' Jackson said. ``My people are overwhelmed with the suddenness of this. At a time like this, you have to lean on your faith.'' The melee marks one of the nation's deadliest stampedes. In December 1991, nine young people were crushed to death in a gymnasium stairwell while awaiting a celebrity basketball game in New York. In December 1979, 11 people were killed in Cincinnati in a crush to get into a concert by The Who.

Addidas.. all white ofcourse. Most comfortable brand of sneakers I ever bought in my life.
  5. MAybe it was because you drank heavily? I remember one time I drank really really heavily. I don't remember ever passing out or anything. I just woke up in an emergency room with an IV in my arm about 6 hours after my last memory of anything. I asked the nurse how I got there, and she said they found me passed out on the sidewalk by some park, i forget the name of it. And the ambulance brought me over. I had like a week long hang over after that.
  6. I cannot wait for this movie either. and then Matrix 3 in November. the trailors are on www.thematrix.com I get all amped up just watchin them.
  7. Do they play all hip hop in the main floor at Platinum on fridays? If they play both dance and hip hop on the main floor, how much of it is dance and how much of it is hip hop?
  8. pretty much every salon carries them now. Check salons out in a mall. You'll definately find it there.
  9. I love FCUK. But you guys are right about the back. After about a few times wearing it, washing and then drying them. The back starts getting higher and higher. I gotta stretch it back down. But I still love cut of the shirts. Even if it says FCUK on the shirt or not, I still like most of the shirts. I don't think FCUK is really that over priced for the most part. I think D&G, Boss and Diesel jeans are overpriced if anything....
  10. I see Robin in that picture along with Kyle on the bottom and ofcourse you.
  11. I'm glad that SF is having a Friday night party again. Gives another option instead of Exit and Arc.
  12. Everything is really awesome on that scheduale, except for Draper being there. Not knocking on Draper. I actually like him. But I think bringing him back to spin at Exit is not a good idea. I just think he should be spinning somewhere else in the city. Also I thought this party was called, "Evolution." Which means "change." Draper being back there I don't think is really "change." It's going back to the same old. But anyways, I'll probably be there for Ojeda, Bugout, Vicious, and Tsettos. Hopefully that one night of Draper won't hinder that changing process.
  13. lol.... that archived thread is hilarious about Draper. I posted on it too. Anyways, I've been a Draper supporter for the longest time. I still like him even today. But I think his time at Exit should be done for now. He had his time at Exit, and Exit eventually became horrible. I went last week, and I saw Exit going in a different and better direction. I think if Exit wants to continue in that different/better direction it should not bring back Draper. If it does bring back Draper Exit will show it's potential customers in the future that it is not totally commited in going in that different direction. Therefore that different "better" crowd will never come. And Exit will just continue to bring back the "bad" exit crowd. I think Draper does have talent. He should definately continue to DJ somewhere in the city. Possibly Limelight Fridays? I heard there party is not doing too good. Dave Marvisi owns Limelight also. And Draper will definately draw numbers. I just believe his time at Exit is DONE.
  14. Lainie you made that Tunnel flyer? That's my favorite flyer of all time. I have it up on my wall too. I was kinda pissed when I saw the same flyer for Vicious at Exit. They shouldn't have copied it.
  15. I went to OSU for a year, still don't know what a buckeye is... even after that definition.
