  1. The thing with Skribble. He could tear it up if he wants to. I caught him for the first time a couple summers ago in LI at Bridgeview. And he sucked so much. I couldn't take to hear him. But at SF the same year on a Friday night he was spinning and he absolutely tore it up. Even on his KTU sets, I'd say he tears it up about once every month or so.
  2. Is there an open bar involved with this 75 dollars at SF?
  3. It happened to me when I worked at a gas station and I was the only one working that day. Our regular gas ran out, also our plus(since plus is a mixture of 30% super and 70% regular.) There isn't an oil pipeline comes underneath the gas station with gas constantly flowing in, it gets delivered with trucks.
  4. Toungue rings look a little bit immature I think. I remember I was talking about it with someone when I first got mine. And she was telling me that it looks immature and blah blah to have one. I just shook it off like whatever. But now when I see someone with one and playing with it, I totally see how they look immature. And sometimes I think to myself, "Do I look that stupid when i play with my toungue ring?" But I figure I'm young, it's my time to make mistakes, and looking professional is not one of my top priorities right now. I dunno, I mean I just said age 25, that's an arbitrary number I chose. More for myself. I mean I hope by age 25 to be starting a steady career, where I want people to take me very seriously. And not just some 25 year old that's playing with his toungue ring. Again thats just my opinion that lollib asked for. If someone feels that they want one and gets one, they should do what they want to do.
  5. In my opinion, I relly hate any piercings on noses. IT looks like you got something on your nose constantly. I always feel like telling someone with a stud on there nose, "Hey you got something on your nose, rub it off" I dunno I just never really liked it. But hey if you wanna get it, by all meas. As for age being a factor. Personally I think age is a factor for non-discreet piercings. Such as ones that are always visible(except for ears.) I got a toungue ring, I plan on taking it out when I get out of college. Cause I don't wanna be one of them guys that's 25 and has a toungue ring. I'd say go for something that everyone can't see, like a nipple ring or something. If you really wanna get the nose piercing, go for it. It all comes down to how you think of it really. In my opinion though, I wouldn't get one....
  6. I was going really good from January-August(then slacked off 2 weeks in the summer) then from September to end of October, then end of october to about couple weeks ago I started really slacking, only went to the gym like 2 days a week, mostly cause i was swamped with school work. Plus I stopped doing abs for a month and half. But I think I started up everything again. I usually go 4 days a week for 1.5-2 hours a day. I know that's not a lot a lot. So it isn't a hard commitment to keep. I know there's people out there that work out 5-6 days a week for close to 2 hours a day.
  7. Club AByss I is 18+ for new years. I guess you could check out there website. www.clubabyss.com for details, they don't have any price info out on it right now on the site. Or just check the NJ board, an abyss promoter might post something.
  8. 25.00 is regular REDUCED club admission for the 'bigger' clubs in new york city.
  9. I think you should definately get Mike Bugout to open up. I heard him at Roxy a few times and at Abyss, he definately has a good touch to set the vibe up for who ever he may open for and as well gets the crowd going. My vote is definately for Mike Bugout.
  10. And notice how it's a big no-no if you don't support this "war on terrorism" in this country. Your seen as being "Un-patriotic or un-american" President Bush and his regime have been saying this since the attacks: "Your either on our side or there side." I can't even watch CNN or FOX NEWS, I feel like I get dumber every minute just watching them. It's obvious that the media in this country is leaning toward the conservative side. Everything you said about the owners of all the media channels out there is true. There are about only 6.. mostly due to a lot of the mergers in the recent decade. So it's getting worse and worse. And notice how the media in this country never shows "another side of the story" They didn't show or broadcast a research report done by a professor. Which showed that more innocent civilians died in Afghanistan by US bombs from October 7, 2001 to December 7, 2001 then in the 9/11 attacks. The figure was aorund 3,800 afghan civilians from US bombs, which was stated as being a "conservative estimate", the real estimate is more around 5,000.. and that was only on December 7th, there's been a whole lot more of US bombs dropped on Afghanistan since then. More on the story here... BBC NEWS: Afghan Civilian Deaths Mount The news media I feel like is trying to make war sound great and that there are no downsides to it, such as masses of people dieing and creating even more social unrest in future decades that could mean more trouble or the us the US and the world. Also I think it's funny more then one year after the 9/11 attacks, were at the heels of having a war with a country that we knew had no involvement in the attacks what so ever... As for me, I try to get my news from media outlets abroad, which are a little less bias, such as the BBC (as is the link i have posted above), and many others. Also MSNBC is ok too, you got my man Phil Donahue there... Karch
  11. For there men's I personally think they got crap... but that's just my opinion. I bet if you look often in there you could find something you like... I just personally don't think the store is anything special.
  12. Go for it... if it's light snow it shouldn't be too big of a deal, just don't drive fast. Go the pace of what everyone else is going...
  13. IT sucked because mostly the crowd sucks mostly. I was expecting a lot better crowd due to the fact it was thanksgiving eve and oakenfold was there, but it still blew. And then you got Paul Oakenfold, I never heard him live until last week, and he totally dissappointed me. And to top it all off, I didn't even get to hear Bugout spin in the white room.... It's alright though... the rest of my weekend made up for it.
  14. I think the best in my opinion is NYC Underground party cd 1, 2, 3.... Even though I hate Louie Devito now, those CDs are part of what got me into clubbing and electronic music about 2-3 years ago...
  15. Yeah I hate that. I don't really find that the case with jeans for me, but for shirts I find it happens a lot more. But most of all shoes/sneakers are the worst for me. My shoes/sneakers range from size 11.5-13. And even some size 13's feel tight...especially Nike sneakers.
  16. I always walk away empty handed, but that's cause I'm really picky in what I buy.
  17. Great night last night. Made up for the horrible night I had at Exit on Wednsday. Got in around midnight. Place was decent. I don't think it got really good until a little later. Like around 2am, when Capello came on, then Bugout around 4. Both Dominque and Bugout did a great job. Good seeing everybody that was there.
  18. yeah i heard people talking about how the place is full of 15 year olds. But when people say that, they mean teh crowd is young like around 18, and dont' mean that there are actual 15 year olds there. But I went in there over the summer. I shit you not. There were literally 80%, 15-16 year old girls running around. It's a nice club and all. But they should be stricter at the door.
  19. Yeah I won't be going back there for a while. Got in around 12:30. Line went quick. And then got inside. Went to coat check. And that line took forever I was on it for 10 minute, barely moved. So I was like fuck that, and I put my coat under one of the benches. So whatever, It's about 12:45 at that time and I see Oakie is on. Definately didn't reach my expectations of being awesome. 3-4, i dunno who was on.... then Draper came on at 4, Exit is definately his house. The crowd loves him there. Anyways, I had to go eat before sunrise since it's Ramadan, so I bounced out of there around 4:30 so I'll be in time to eat before sunrise, I'm pissed I missed Tronco's and Vicious's set. But whatever.... what are you gonna do. Didn't get to go in the white room to hear bugout, the guy at the door wasn't letting anyone in. I sorta expected that to happen though. Anyways, overall it was a bad night. The 20 minutes I listened to Draper wasn't bad. And that's about it. I guess it's Roxy Friday for me now.... PS.. That is reallllyyyyyy fucked up that they decided not to let anyone in with E-Tickets. I was about to get one of them too. THank god I didn't....
