  1. sending one's taxes in asap is in one's best interests. even sending them in now will get one ahead in line of all the people who wait till the 15th, and that's a lot of people (if anyone here's ever been to the post office and seen it, it's not a pretty sight ...). tune in tomorrow.
  2. must be near the top of the page, but not a sticky .
  3. i'm with you, fearlesss. that sucks ass.
  4. he sounds like he's sad . you make it sound like you give him attention, though; at least you give off the impression that it wouldn't be from loneliness. maybe he needs some prince & d playtime, just the 2 of you . or you could ask your vet why you have such a loud, self-destructive cat .

    your ex

you are one righteous dude ; kudos !
  6. those who harass and bully always seem to follow their victims around; it's interesting to note that, in their attempts to abuse their victims, they are only highlighting the fact that they just can't stay away. tune in tomorrow.

    your ex

only one of them, but knowing what i know now. i'm the one who ended it, and i shouldn't have. i was just too afraid to communicate with him because i didn't want to hurt his feelings, so i broke it off, which makes NO sense, in retrospect. i was going through some personal stuff of my own at the time, though, and i don't think i could've handled all of that at once. but he was an angel and i know i missed out .
  9. maybe i'm being nitpicky - it's close to naughtybabe's, but not the "holding in the air" part... you must be really flexible and light or your partners have been really athletic... or else i'm just picturing something wrong. i wish we had more pictures of all of these positions ! but i was wondering what you call it when the girl has her legs up on the guy's shoulders, him slamming it to her on top (of course). that goes in really deep - sometimes too deep if the guy is too big ... anyway, is there a name for that? i'm just wondering. it's not my favorite position.
  10. and don't be all down on raves - i had a blast as a raver, all the way ! and you can't beat the vibe out here in socal. hell, all my pants are raver pants, still (just ask shortystar )!!!
  11. i saw a male go-go dancer once at the roxy in new york, but not on a gay night. there was one girl and one guy. the guy had no rhythm; it was a sketchy scene ...
  12. out there and back will always remain on my list of life-altering and important albums. that is just one solid piece of work - truly outstanding. but i do think it's relevant to note that i love tiesto live and i really don't like pvd live at all. i've seen pvd live 3 times now and haven't liked him. "3 strikes, you're out!" is how i feel about it. but tiesto always makes it to my calendar.
  13. it is important to learn the line between a healthy sense of pride and self-righteousness. tune in tomorrow.
  14. as far as work is concerned (referring to the title of the thread ), i'm moving to orange and am arranging to get a transfer to a store closer to there 'cause i haven't found anything else yet. but they made me interview, which i think is crap, seeing as i've been with that dumb company for 2 and a half years. and they tried to tell me that i wasn't good enough in this or that... i think what they have to realize is that, while everyone should strive to improve in everything, people will always have their strengths and weaknesses. for instance, when i walked into that store for the interview today, all i could think about was how it looked like a tornado had gone through it, and they obviously don't pay any attention to that. i mean, it was bad. anyway, their nitpickyness seemed like they were trying to find things wrong with me and they were asking questions that were so specific - no one knows those answers. trivial stuff. sigh. and lord knows i don't get paid nearly enough to take this garbage! i need out of this job !!!

    Armin!!!

my best buddy got 'em for $25 (i don't remember if it was from groovetickets or wantickets), but that was a few weeks ago. he bought a ticket for me, too, even though he knows i really dislike armin, just in case i change my mind. seriously, though, armin is one of the very few djs that can force me to leave the dancefloor (which is really saying something; i like a lot of different types of music.). i would've much rather seen judge jules at avalon. sucks, too, 'cause armin comes around more often than jules does. but i might end up going just to be with my friend (and roommate to be!) .
  16. i never heard this theory, and my ex liked to go down (i acknowledge he's only one guy, but i reiterate that this is a crazy notion!!!!).
  17. thank you so much, flip !!!!!!! it's amazing - your son looks exactly half like you and half like themrs!!! if you and themrs were in a room of 100 people and i had to guess who his parents were, i'd find you guys in a second . and your daughter i think looks more like you and is just as adorable!!! what gorgeous children!!!
  18. amen to all of that!i don't know if i'd really call it dancing, either, but there's not much one can do when one has to keep one's feet planted in one spot or when one is wearing those ridiculous 6-inch platform boots . i absolutely love watching other people dance, but it gets to me that the people on the dancefloor are sooooooo much more fun to watch than these chicks in their underwear. i kinda feel like the club decided for me that i wanted to watch them; they're all up in my face and whatnot. and the expressions they have on their faces are either blank, uppity, or outright bored, and there's no fun in that. seriously, i can't recall a time when they ever looked like they were having a good time. but i guess they have to be on the defensive, too, with the way guys harass them. and i'm with you, shorty, i'd love to watch something choreographed. i never see dance performances anymore now that i'm out of school; there were modern dance performances at my pre-k thru 12 school and at my college, and i choreographed one when i was in 8th grade. i guess i don't want to see people dance on stage unless they love it.
  19. condolences, deepfunk. and ok, phobik, i'll go over to #2 and close this thread. good idea; this one has gotten a little long (though in a good way )!
  20. trust is an essential part of a relationship that often gets lost in the shuffle these days, as many people (and relationships themselves) just move too fast. when each party in a relationship has truly earned the other's trust is when both are free to fall into the best kind of love there is. tune in tomorrow.

    Love Vs Sex

true - you just have to decide whether the chance of an amazing outcome would be worth the risk.
