that's really not true anymore. there are some famous flat-chested women that are viewed as very sexy, such as debra messing, gwen stefani, and kate hudson. everyone has some features that are better than others; no one has only attributes that "our society" [<-- pick one] deems perfect or even near-perfect. that's why people try to accentuate their best (or favorite) features. the woman who feels she can't go braless because she has big boobs (disadvantage) can also enjoy showing more cleavage than a small-chested woman (advantage). it's all give and take in every single area, if you ask me. everyone just has to work with his/her body, not against it .

my gay male best friend spoons me when i sleep over, but i think he just confuses me for his ex in his sleep, who still sleeps over from time to time. i'm with tasty, and i don't complain . we're affectionate when awake, so it's not that far out - i just have the feeling sometimes that it's not necessarily intended for me. x 1,000!!!!!

when a rainstorm hits l.a., it's the top story on the news. i'm not kidding. well, it is true that when it rains here, it pours, but is it really all that newsworthy? we in l.a. spend most of our time getting into, out of, and sitting in our cars, or indoors. so, really, the only reason why it's such a big deal is that it disturbs our driving patterns (see today's wisdom of the day ). i, as an l.a. resident, don't even own an umbrella. what about you?

when driving in the rain - especially in los angeles - one should drive slower than one normally does. drivers don't see as well in the rain, and it's easy to miscalculate distances between cars, width of lanes, and locations of puddles. one should also watch out for pedestrians! oil has a long time to drip on the streets between rainstorms in l.a., so, when water hits, big, slippery oil slicks abound. lastly, traffic gets clogged like crazy in the rain in l.a., so joyrides aren't recommended (no joy there, peeps). tune in tomorrow.

all right, peeps, scott bond's at red this friday, at red's new location - park plaza. this is the second week there, i believe. i didn't go last week, but i've been to the pp before, and i love the space. i also wasn't a fan of the new location - the laec. the bathrooms were disgusting, the patio was wall-to-wall smoke, and did i mention that the bathrooms were disgusting ? i don't understand how they got that gross. really. it was a mystery to me. scott bond has never disappointed me . my only complaint is that his sets are non-stop energy, and my calves cramp up before i feel like it's time for a break ! but he's a dj i put in a category all his own. i don't know anyone who spins any sound close to his. there are very few djs who i think can be described that way (space girl would be one of those, in my book). anyway, i'll be there. anyone else going?
