  1. the united states of america is also known as "the melting pot." i am american. if you wanna go back generations, that's another story, but most of the people on this thread are american. what's wrong with that, you guys? i still don't understand why people so want to be something "more exotic" and don't think that being american (which they are) is "good enough."
  2. using calendars and clocks are good ways to not lose track of time . tune in tomorrow.
  3. cubbie - you were there??? dookie ! well, that's what i get for sitting in the dark upstairs for a couple of hours. that's also why it took us so long to bump into each other, howie . well, sometimes i just need to sit for a while, and there aren't really any places to sit on the first floor of the mayan. maybe they should work on that ...
  4. i had a great costume all together and everything; it really took a lot of work to get all the pieces together. but my best bud and i were so tired from pvd the night before that we just stayed in on halloween . i guess i'll just save my super-fantastic costume till next year . did you gals get molested at the club that night ?
  5. i think it's pretty frikkin' nervy of them to expect people to buy tix to the party and $200-and-up room tix without knowing who the djs are, first .
  6. thanks for the post, blue ! i always like to be up on things, even when i can't go .
  7. nybeauty guessed that dogekid is italian, but he never replied, and i gotta put in the correct answer ! the quote he gave was from goodfellas, yes, but ray liotta's character in the movie was irish. [if dogekid is italian, he used an inappropriate quote.] now, enough with the romanticism, here's what i am: mad ups to my passport. peace out.
  8. in trying to answer this question, it seems to me that there must be more male cpers than female. does anyone else have this impression, or am i just having trouble coming up with more than one name at the moment ?
  9. what do these girls sing? i've neither seen nor heard of them.

    boobies or butt

    9/10, muthafuckas ! woo-hoo .
  12. it started off right. the wait in line was less than five minutes, groove*tickets found us on the list in a flash, and i didn't even get groped by security. the downstairs was way too dark for people-watching, though, which is what my friend and i love to do to start out with, while only half-listening to the opening dj. my friend got his first drink and we did a lap. he scoped out hotties, and i did, too, but the only one i saw started holding hands and cozying up to another guy a few minutes later, so that was that . (not like i would've done anything anyway...) pvd came on earlier than expected, and played a very hard and fast set. it was good to listen to, but i found it entirely undancable. my buddy and i sat upstairs for the longest time just bouncing in our seats and people-watching. upstairs is the best place for that at the mayan, by the way. there are a few people dancing, some peeps at which to stare , and there's a great sense of the vibe in the crowd. the music was changing into something a little more easy to move to, so my omniscient friend and i mosied on downstairs to shake our booties a bit. it was there that i met howieredondo !!! howieredondo gets a from me. sweetheartsweetheartsweetheart !!! proof once again that cp is good people. i do hope we run into each other again. when's the next meetup, all? but just as i was getting ready to dance, pvd played some slow-ass song, practically pushing us all out the door . suddenly the music was over, leaving me staring at my watch in shock. "what?" i asked my friend. "he just got started!" apparently some people consider 3 hours a decent length for a set. harumph . well, maybe it would've been, had the set been better. my 3rd time seeing pvd live, my 3rd time disappointed. but this was the most fun, being with and running into the peeps i did (i also ran into a friend i don't see nearly enough). still, next time pvd comes to town, i'll stay home and spend my time and money better.
  13. sorry for the absenteeism the past few days, all ; i was staying at my omniscient friend's house. i wish i had the moolah to buy him a computer. here's today's column: when out with a friend or multiple friends at any large place (especially a loud, dark, crowded club!), it's a good idea to set a place to meet if you get separated. one never knows what might happen. perhaps, on the way back from the bathroom, one might run into a long-lost best friend and lose track of time while in conversation. if you and your friends have set up a meeting place you all won't have to worry about anything. and the old "where's so-and-so? we're supposed to leave now!" annoyance is guaranteed to happen much less often . tune in tomorrow.
  14. i'm with you; we can't afford to force ourselves and waste money on other countries (ahem - did someone say $87 billion on iraq, that figure having been reduced from the president's more outrageous proposal ???) when we can't even take care of ourselves.o, and another point - i always see plenty of relief for flood victims; why none for those of the wildfires (more than 2500 homes destroyed) ?
  15. did you find a way to get into red? red is 21+.
  16. actually, it's one sleeveless but cut like a muscle tank side and one spaghetti strap. it crosses diagonally... anyway, you'd know it if you saw it now that i've said so much about it. so say hey if you see me, people !!!
  17. late due to computer freezing . sorry! when one gets a stain on clothing (from food, ink, makeup, etc.), it's best to try to get it out right away. the more time it has setting in one's fabric, the less likely it is to come out . tune in tomorrow.
  18. my friend and i are gonna party like rock stars tomorrow (thurs.) at pvd, so i don't know how much energy we'll have on halloween. i've got a great costume, though. he never dresses up, so if i went anywhere, i'd be flying solo, and i won't be too motivated to go anyplace. maybe i'll go to red; it's free before 10:30 if one's in costume and it's right by my house.
  19. there are a bunch of "yo' mama" threads; i'll see if i can find them. but i'll give you one of my favorites: yo' mama's so fat, her blood type is gravy. yo' mama's so fat, on halloween, she says, "trick, or meatloaf!"
  20. my ex's fave. i never found it much fun, pleasurable, or intimate . perhaps a lot of that was just because it was coming from him, though .
  21. my favorites : someone actually said "you have nice boobies" to me; is that better or worse than:
  22. to what "two" sets of lips are you referring ?
  23. weyes

    sex or music?

i am soooooo with you on this one !!!...for the most part.
  24. i'll be there with my omniscient friend! i'll be wearing an assymetrical shirt (one short sleeve and one spaghetti strap, i think; it's at the cleaners ) with black and rainbow stripes . what'll everyone else be wearing?
